I was looking for new headphones for my Xbox Series X as it seems gaming headphones last all of a few months before dying nowadays. My friend recommended the A40s, so I picked these up. They are comfortable on my head, and audio is crystal clear. I use the Dolby app on the Xbox to deliver Atmos, and it's delivers an amazing sound experience. And the mic does a great job of picking my voice but filters out background noise as to not distrupt the party. I picked these up on sale, and I'm glad I opted to pay a bit more for a better quality headset.

Really nice headset, only downside is that it doesn't have a volume control on the cable like the A10s had and mic isn't a flip up to mute

Overall, a good headset. Better than most. The fit and adjustability are great. They are solid and not flimsy in any way. I use these with my Xbox Series X and the standard controller and a Scuf Prestige. The headset works great with both controllers and allows me to play with surround or directional hearing. My only gripe is that they occasionally have static, pop or only work in one ear. More of an annoyance than anything else, as you have to unplug and plug the aux back in.

The speakers low key bled into the mic but other than that it was comfortable and sounded great .

Honestly this headset is top tier, could hear everything in game and microphone sound good and crisp.

After 2 years i would say i am happy with the results of this headsets.

This is still, after all these years a good quality headset. Sturdy, detailed build quality, fits the head very well, and adjustable, mic is clear. The only slight downside is that the tech in this headset has not been updated since its inception, at least not that I know of. The sound is still good and the sound of steps is very clear in fps and competitive games, but sound isn't as clear as some of the newer ones on the market. All in all still a great headset, but maybe not worth the price tag it holds anymore.

The A40TRs are some the best headset ever made by Astro Gaming or any other gaming brand. The only flaw is the sound quality of the mic it's average but I expected more, the headset does have amazing sound and the metal frame is practically indestructible, my mic has fallen off my desk, been thrown around, and survived multiple moves. It's a great headset and easily beats most other headsets

This was a gift for my brother and he uses it everyday, still holding up and we’ve had it for a while now. Great purchase!

I absolutely love Astro headsets. I currently own 4 and this one is my 5th one. They are so comfortable and built very well. My only gripe is that I purchased this pair because they're listed as black/red and they are clearly dark navy blue and red. My gamer OCD is really kicking in and I'm on the fence on taking them back. Anyway, these things sound great and you get what you pay for so if you're ok with the color, pick em up.

These are hands down the best headphones I've used for gaming. I have no issues using these headphones. I can go from Playstation to PC seamlessly. No hassle. 10/10 recommend this product. The only complaint I have is the headphones losen on your head and they don't cancel outside noise very well. But the price to quality ratio is too good to complain about something as small as that. If you're on the edge, buy these today.
