I bought a set of these refurbished and it was missing the usb dongle rendering the headset 100% useless as it can only connect via the dongle.. so i emailed the company (nacon) and asked if i could buy one or get one under warranty but because the one i bought was considered used even though BB told me it was litteraly just a box that was accidentally opened in the store and the unit never left the store but was checked. I didnt open the box for a little over a month so i was past the return window. Im actually not upset with anyone but nacon as they knew i couldnt use the headset and id have to take the loss ($180) and buy another headset as they retused to sell me the dongle yet admit they could. So i bought a steel series arctis 7 then returned it for a steelseries arctis nova pro x, its the best one they make and unlike the identical ps5 version, this one works on all consoles and pc. its worth the money over this headset. I liked it enough i bought 2. wired dac and wireless versions. Then i learner steelseries is also a division of nacon but they have their own customer service and its much bettet.. so much so that they got them to send me the dongle so i got to test this too and it only took about 6 months. I did like having the dock that could charge the headset and have a handy place to store it. Audio quality is not the best. i found the official wireless atmos headset from microsoft to not only sound better in general but it also had much better spatial audio regardless of EQ settings. Same goes for the sony pulse 3d's. I was also told in a few different games on more than 1 platform that my mic was awful. it not only sounded bad but despite its claims to block backround noise i can safely say it doesnt. it picked up an air conditioner in another room and my wife saying something to me from upstairs... This is more like an entry level headset and probably 40% or more is paying for the dock and dongle instead of audio quality or spatial accuracy. Trust me, ive used basically every headset out there thats $150 or above because im in love with audio. A headset is competition for a real 11.2 atmos setup, a 1000 watt receiver and amps powering everything but the height channels and overhead channels so if you want to hear positional audio come ln over lol. Its so accurate you could aim with your eyes closed unlike this RIG HS which gets its lunch eaten by the official hearsets from sony and microsoft

Sorry to hear you're having issues with the audio cutting out.

Please try the following - Hard reset your A50 Headset by simultaneously holding down the GAME Button (right side of the headset) and the Dolby button (located below the power button) for 15-30 seconds. Please note: When doing the hard reset, have the headset plugged in directly to a confirmed power source, without the Base Station.

Let charge for 15 minutes, then retry.

Next, resync the A50 Headset by placing the headset on the powered on Base Station. Wait 3 - 5 seconds until the bolt and battery level stop blinking.

If this does not resolve the issue, please reach back out to ASTRO gaming support at astrogaming.com/contact
