It uses less resources than Windows. You can also install Android apps, and even Linux apps, if you needed or wanted to.

Very good, but thick / heavy for extended travel

LOVE LOVE LOVE ASUS products, but this one is a bit thick and very heavy. I was surprised when I grabbed the box at what a brick it is. Display is decent, but not as bright as I would like. Overall functionality good, with decent (and backlit!) keyboard and ports.

First Chromebook, so far I'm impressed.

It's quick to start up, and I haven't ran into any issues with the OS. This is my first Chromebook, so it's taking some getting used to some apps wanting to open in phone/tablet sizing.

Love this Chromebook

With the sale price from Best Buy, there was nothing else out there with these specs for that price. Our son loves it and we couldn't be happier with how easy it was to order and pick up from Best Buy.

Weight and thickness are drawbacks, but performance/price ratio is unbeatable. Keyboard and touch screen function well.
