I absolutely love this laptop. I have not purchased a lap top in over 10 years, but needed a quality one for school coming up. I wanted something reliable and not terribly expensive. I was pleasantly surprised that it came in blue! Which is amazing because I hate boring black. I also loved that it is touch screen, I didn’t know that when I had ordered it (guess I didn’t read the details good enough). The battery life is PHENOMENAL, which is great because I’m sorry busy I forget to charge it for full days of class sometimes.

Hardware: Even though it is a bit heavy for a modern laptop, it is very well constructed. The screen is on par with the Surface Laptop 3 that this Chromebook replaced. The keyboard is nice and “clicky”, with good travel of the keys. The touchscreen is a plus. Software: I’ve been a fan of ChromeOS since the original Google CR48, and this platform just keeps getting better. It runs Android apps and Linux apps, and should get updates from Google until June 2031 based on Google’s ChromeOS auto update support page. Overall this is a nice laptop, well worth the price we paid for it.

Homerun hit of a Chromebook, if you know how to use them. Keeping expectations where they are, this machine is snappy, quick and competent. Obviously battery life is great and screen isn't terrible like the competition. Highly recommend on sale.

This is the 4th Chromebook bought for our family in 9 years. It's by far the heaviest but I'm hoping that increases longevity. Our previous ASUS was plastic and developed several stress cracks. I don't use the touch screen feature much simply because I'm not used to having one but it has worked well the few times I've used it. I would prefer a matt screen display but the picture is very good. The track pad is very smooth and responsive. The backlit keyboard is excellent. If you don't mind the weight this makes an excellent Chromebook.

I got this computer for my mom to use for work and so far it's pretty good. The only issue I would say is the trackpad isn't really touch friendly. So we had to get her a mouse to use. That's not really a bother for her since she uses it at her work desk anyways. But for someone on the go it may be a problem. Other than that, the battery seems to be pretty good. The displays great and when you turn it into a tablet it works wonderfully. So I would say it's a pretty good work computer.

Since I'm a diehard google fan, I absolutely love this chrome bas d laptop. Syncs with everything I have on my pixel phone. Touchscreen works smoothly, sound is terrific, and it's great having what's app video calls with family in the UK. Set-up was easy. I highly recommend this laptop. You won't miss Windows one bit. And the battery life is amazing.

I love the 16:10 aspect ratio. Sound quality and processor speed are excellent. The build is very solid, and I like the Ponder Blue color. The battery life is top notch. The 300 nits are OK, but I find the screen to be a tad gray. The device is also exceptionally heavy and the lack of a fingerprint sensor on a Plus Chromebooks is frustrating to say the least! Not bad for the price especially when on sale!

I purchased this as a laptop for work, it’s part of my mobile office. I purchased it on sale for $350 and it’s worth every penny. It’s a laptop computer and it’s a touchscreen. The battery gets 10+ hours on a charge which is plenty to get me through a work day. Quality is good, screen of HD and the keyboard is the perfect size and layout for me.

This is truly the best laptop for the buck. Compare the specs yourself. Best Buy website makes it super easy to compare. Very happy with my purchase. The performance and Google OS is great. No bloatware and serves my needs. The battery life is amazing.

This is a definite upgrade for me - it's faster and easier to use than my last one. However, there is a strange thing that it does, on occasion - it blinks. When I looked it up, the info that I got said that it's a Chrome oddity that has to do with what's on the screen. I'm not sure I believe that, but it only happens every once in a while and is not detrimental to the overall functionality of the device.

The ASUS Chromebook Plus provides everything I need in a light-duty computer for interacting with the Internet. I have used Linux as my main operating system since 1995, and my main laptop for photography, coding, and writing has always run Linux. However, the ASUS Chromebook provides the means to load and run Linux programs easily, so I can have both a smooth functioning Internet machine along with some of my favorite Linux programs in one unit. I was particularly impressed with the Chromebook's capability of reading my RAW-format camera images and displaying them without pause. The battery life of the Chromebook is stunning compared to both my Linux and Windows laptops. I originally purchased an ASUS Chromebook Plus for my wife to use, but upon seeing the increased disk storage and memory, I decided I could use one as well. I'm not sorry! At this point I have not discovered any downsides.

Close to perfect laptop. Easy to setup and administrate. Fast! Fast! Fast! Excellent battery life! Excellent display. Excellent canera for video calls and video conference. The only con I could find is the weight. But it worth hence its giving you longer time between charging.

I was on the fence about buying another Chromebook, as I had a very frustrating experience with a Lenovo Chromebook I bought 1.5 years ago. I am a Google ecosystem person, but I did some deep research on multiple Chromebooks and PCs at a variety of price points before deciding to buy this ASUS, and I'm really happy I did! For the price, this Chromebook offers stellar performance and features for an average user. It's fast and feels very solid in its build quality. I like the back-lit keyboard and HD webcam with privacy shutter. The sound is good enough for video calls and watching short videos, but I wear earbuds or use a bluetooth speaker to watch longer videos for richer sound. The screen is bright enough for me, although if I were being very picky I'd say I wish it were a bit brighter. I also like the blue color, which makes it distinctive. I got this item on sale for $300, which is a great deal. Honestly, I wouldn't feel bad paying full price for this Chromebook because it's worth it.

I was looking for a replacement for my Surface laptop and I came across this Chromebook and I'm so glad that I found it very reasonable price with excellent excellence capabilities. It works just as good as a really expensive laptop for a much cheaper price.

Very nice. It was heavier than the other one my daughter had. However, it works great and does evrything she needs for school. We purchased this as a replacement for her old asus spin because it will stop.updating in June.

This Chromebook is durable and somewhat heavier than other metal case Chromebooks. Weight does not detract from the solid feel and performance. The battery life is a positive.

Purchased this Chromebook for my kid for school. It’s a great multipurpose, touchscreen computer. The performance on this for the price is excellent. Would highly recommend if you are on the fence about a Chromebook.

Very fast and with great specs for a Chromebook. Only complaint is its 4lbs. I saw this in the specs before I bought it and didnt rhink much about it. When I pulled it out of the box I realized how heavy that is. The laptop is beautiful. Keyboard is backlit and very easy to read and to the touch. The mouse pad is really nice ans soft to touch.

This laptop has been great. It is so much faster than my 5 year old Chromebook. It is solidly built, the keyboard has a real nice feel, not overly sensitive so you can rest on the keys without worrying. The graphics are great for streaming, sound is good too.. I am very happy that I bought this.

Very well built machine with a problematic display. While watching TV series/movies auto brightness would kick in on dark scenes and drop the brightness of the screen to the point where it's almost off and completely dimmed. There's no way to turn this 'feature' off. Huge deal breaker for me obviously. Ended up having to return it unfortunately. Possibly I got a lemon but something to consider when thinking of buying this laptop. Tough plastic and a solid build make up the basis of this Chromebook, it is very sturdy and seemed to be well made with nice features such as the two in one form factor and a backlit keyboard. Battery life was excellent in the time I was using but admittedly that wasn't a long time, about a week. ChromeOS is limiting but for the basics it gets the job done. I bought it on sale for $300 which seemed to be a screaming deal considering the high ram and AMD processor, for it's normal price of $500 it's a bit steep. Wish it worked better for me but after two faulty Chromebooks, the other being a Lenovo duet 5, I've decided to abandon the OS altogether.
