    The absolute worst laptop I’ve ever owned. It wouldn’t update out of the box, a bunch of errors, you have to sit on top of your router for it to get wifi connection, I finally got it to update to windows that is supported and it still acts up. It’s slow, I’d be ashamed and embarrassed to put an asus badge on this thing. 100% don’t recommend, spend a little extra and get something better.

    HANDY ASUS 14" Laptop

    I wanted a laptop that was smaller than my typical 17" version for more light-weight traveling, and this ASUS 14" FHD Laptop is perfect. I didn't need a lot of power, storage or performance when traveling, I just needed a small laptop for quick letters, vendor to-do lists, responding to never-ending emails, and some surfirng usually for product info. One thing I did need was a numeric pad, and while this laptop doesn't have one adjacent to the keyboard, it does have a unique 'reuse" of the built-in touch-pad .... press a "button" and the pad turns into a full-use numeric pad. A little akward, but works well during my travels. The low amount of RAM (4GB) could be of concern to users that run multiple apps concurrently; for me, I usually only have 2, maybe 3, so it wasn't an issue. The overall light-weight design makes my husband happy when he's carting around my rather large laptop bag because I carry a "mini office" of stuff and all the cables I need for numerous deices. You also can't beat the price of this low-end, small laptop. PERFECT!

    Probably one of the best deals for the price I have seen in a long time. Lightweight, though it almost feels cheap due being basically all plastic built. Has lots of good features and potential uses for such an affordable laptop. Battery is fast to charge and has decent life so far, though I am not holding out a lot of hope on that, as most battery life claims, off charger, are greatly exaggerated. I will assume this will be the case on this one as well. The claim is 10 hours. I have not timed this yet. At this price, I do not expect much. I like the windows system in a cheap laptop vs chrome book. Plenty of memory and power. It does seem to want you to operate it within that OS and has hoops to jump through to use different browsers and downloads. It does the job perfectly fine for what I am using it for. Preinstalled with Office. I usually like to use Chrome over Bing, but if you want that, you have to switch out of Windows 11 S to home version. Apparently, you can't undo that and using that system will use up more space, so I am just leaving this as a basically box stock laptop for what I use it for. Screen brightness and clarity are average or better. I really wish it had a backlit keyboard. I feel like that is an under rated or underappreciated feature that is very useful for me due to my tendencies of using these in low light situations or rooms. Numeric touch pad with on/off toggle is kinda cool and saves keypad space. Set up out of the box took a lot longer than I have experienced with other laptops, but not a big issue since its only on initial startup. In summary, well worth the price for what it offers. Many pros, some cons, but not enough to pass up.

    I’m not to happy about this purchase. I came in around Christmas looking for a laptop for my child. My original choice was an HP but I was told this one would be faster. This thing is SO SLOW he can’t even browse the internet or watch YouTube !

    Not so happy I got it because I needed a computer asap as my MacBook is broken, I’ve misplaced the charger right after I use it, my husband found it yesterday now that I am trying to use it battery is fully charged but as soon as I put my pin on turned off and no way to turn it on again!

    I can’t review this item as Best Buy won’t ship it. I’ve called four times, opened cases, and these dirtbags won’t ship it. So the one star is for Best Buy, not the laptop. I’d give zero stars if I could.

    Slow out of the box and already saying "memory low" without installing anything else. If the return window hadn't lapsed before we opened it, it would have been returned.

    I ordered this Laptop 30 days ago and it has already stopped working. And I was told I wouldn't be getting a refund for it. Very bad product. Do not purchase. They are not good at all.

    Having tried several different budget laptops I didnt think this one would be different. It is different and in a good way. If you are loooking for a laptop for basic Budget laptops can run a full gambit of quality and value. They either feel cheap, are slow, poor screen or not enough storage. This device goes against all of that.....except for storage. The computer also come installed with Windows 11 S. The S means you can only install applications from the Microsoft Store. No third party apps can be installed. This is good if you are worried about viruses but limits your ability to configure the machine. However, the limitation of the S operating system can be turned off. Pros * While plastic, a solid and well built feel * Good speed for a budget laptop * Solid keyboard that is responsive * Interesting 10 key built into the trackpad * HDMI port built in Cons * Only 64GB of storage * Only 4GB RAM (bare minimum for running Windows 11 efficiently) * Set up with Windows S (but that can be turned off if desired) * Laggy power on This is the best budget workstation I have used. If you are looking for a laptop with a solid build and specs, this would be the one to purchase.
