I am glad that I do not use the device as it was for my mother-in-law to keep her from installing stuff! It is only a Samsung device.

The Chromebook is more than a web browser. It comes with a web or cloud base OS that is fast, secured and easy to use and is becoming a popular choice of students because of these features. Besides, it is low-cost and lightweight, and supports thousands of popular computing applications, both in Chrome and Android, and Linux applications as well. Since it is a web base OS it does require a Google or Gmail account and an internet connection in order to use or operate it properly. If this is your first experience with a Chromebook, I recommend using the HELP file incorporated within the OS. To access HELP, please click your profile picture on the Notification Bar, located on the lower right-hand corner of the Home screen then click the question mark icon or widget. For more help, please go visit Google Support webpage.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the laptop was a christmas gift for my adult son...it was defective...he took it back to best buy in columbia, sc and was informed that he needed to pay more for them to replace what i had just purchased...that is NOT something a disabled old lady on a fixed income wants to hear...especially since i had just purchased a laptop from bb for myself several months ago...supposedly, they finally agreed on a replacement that will arrive on 1/20...we'll see...just in case, i have alerted my credit card company...

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or, part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.

Great Value Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The laptop is overall a good laptop for those that need it for light use like myself such as watching videos and shows and browsing the internet. It is also an excellent choice for those who are on a budget when it comes to getting a laptop. Its aluminum body makes it feel premium and makes it look really good. It is super fast, especially when turning it on. The only downside is the screen quality but it's definitely not bad and is great for a laptop under $300. It is one of the best screens I've seen on a laptop of its price.

Took me a little while to adjust from a laptop, but the adjustment was smooth. Had some difficulty at first learning how to boot up and shut down, but was a breeze once I caught on. Highly recommend to other senior citizens who just want something to search the web, get email and watch youtube. Thank you ASUS for this awesome chromebook.

I call bestbuy to see if there were something on the settings that I was missing but not it just did not work

I do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused you if the Chromebook you picked up doesn't come with a touchscreen feature. The Chromebook being sold at Best Buy doesn't come with a touchscreen and was not advertised having this feature.
