To start, I am a field employee with Best Buy’s Geek Squad. I have been looking for a good gaming laptop for about a year now. I purchased a budget Lenovo laptop in November, and upgraded the memory, but it just would not cut it for my needs. I am a gamer from days of past, and I wanted something I could play some classics games on, along with something that could render my photo and video editing programs. This ASUS laptop is quite bargain for its price range. It features the latest mobile processor from AMD, Ryzen 7 4800h that just handles whatever program or benchmark I throw at it. And the pairing of the higher powered version Nvidia’s 1660 Ti is magnificent, playing many games like Civilization V and KOTOR2 at its highest settings. The addition of the 144hz screen is a great perk as well, I have never played games higher then 60 frames and I can tell why many other gamers want to make the switch. The fans can be on the louder side when it comes to a lot of other laptops on the market, but with the performance levels it can achieve, the airflow is necessary. It is not a bother for me, though, since my headphones drown out the noise. For the price this device is at, I am thrilled to have been able to pick this up before it became sold out. Truly a wonderful machine, and this Geek highly recommends.

Great performance Cinebench r20 score of 4200 that's a great score! After about 30 minutes of Cinebench r20 still getting a score over 4000. Also played fornite on epic settings 1080p on performance profile for over 1hr and maintained a fps of over 85fps. Boots up and shuts down in seconds. Heat blows out the back and keys stay nice and cool. Touch pad very responsive rgb keyboard very bright with adjustable brightness. Build quality is good and laptop is overall a nice looking and feeling device. Speakers are not that great and I wish it had dedicated macro keys for volume, brightness power profile ect. Fans can get loud on performance and turbo profile but they do a nice job and I also gamed and edited some video on silent and it worked fine. AMD has done it again with Ryzen 4000 mobile CPUs.

I bought this laptop to upgrade my aging drawing laptop as I am a graphic artist /illustrator. Since drawing monitors have dropped in price, I wanted a gaming laptop that was not too expensive, but had some raw processing power. After viewing a lot of youtube reviews I chose this laptop. So glad I did. It can chew through Adobe illustrator, Phootshop, and Witcher 3. It out performs my budget desktop I use for entertainment and gaming. And Best Buy had this in stock (When I bought it on April 18th) where everyone else were sold out.

Good laptop for the price! I have zero issues with it, and i have had it for almost a year now! Great gpu and cpu for this build. Anyone on a budget that wants a solid gaming rig, this is it! There is only 1 flaw, but i will not drop a star for it. The battery life is not the greatest when playing things on higher settings. I might get about 45 minutes to an hour when gaming. Web browsing, and streaming videos you are looking at 2.5 - 3hours unplugged.

Great laptop so far. Has easily handled every game I have thrown at it so far. It runs much quieter and cooler than the Acer gaming laptop I bought 1.5 years ago. Also seems much sturdier.

first up the graphics are not recognized by 3dmark benchmarking though it runs great. Then the slew of more issues battery life is non existence, Bluetooth is spotty, wifi is not great, 2 m.2 is great but 3rd sata drive spot is useless. Had a keyboard issue first day with sticky keys but it resolved, bestbuy took it off the site i wonder why? Good looking and powerful but what a headache

Able to get good frame rate on ultra or high settings in most games

I love this laptop, it is great for content creators, The only thing that could be better is if it was a 17" and had a 2060 Graphics card in it
