This is one of the best purchases of a computer device I've ever made! The screen size is outstanding & it's a Chromebook - perfect for my teenager for streaming her movies! Im most pleased with the PRICE - everywhere else wanted twice as much for the same laptop!

I love this computer so much I use it daily for work and I have never had any issues at all. I dropped it and broke my screen so I’m on here looking for replacement I would rather pay to fix it then part ways with it I love it so much. If I buy new I will be repurchasing this one. 10/10 highly recommend. I work from home some days and some days in the office and it’s so sleek and lightweight which makes it easier to take back and forth

Excellent device and great display and google already makes it easy to set things up thru their stuff which makes this asus chromebook all the better!

Perfect Chromebook for so many uses great responses

This computer is very good and we're pleased with the outcome.

Love the big screen 17.3 inches and the separate numeric keyboard. I purchased it for $189 plus tax and recycle fee of $15 less than a month ago (mid-May 2023) from Best Buy online. Meets all my current and future needs. The big screen is great. I never travel with the Chromebook so the size and weight is not a factor. Video quality playback of quality streaming sources is excellent. 1920 x 1080 I can see the stubble on the faces of the detectives in cop shows that I never noticed before. It also has Wi-Fi 6(802.11ax) (Dual band) 2*2 + Bluetooth® 5.2 Wireless Card which was needed for my noise canceling headphones that require Bluetooth 5.0 or higher. I had a similar Asus with a 15.4 inch screen and Bluetooth 4 so it did not work with the Sony, I paid more for it a year and a half ago, This new one has a newer and faster processor (3 year newer design). The official Asus name for this Chromebook is ASUS Chromebook CX1 (CX1700). Best Buy names it based on the processor. . Most important.From Google Help = Chromebooks, Chromebases, and Chromeboxes automatically manage updates so that your device has the latest software and security features. To check your Auto Update Expiration (AUE) date: At the bottom right, select the time and then Settings . At the bottom left, select About ChromeOS. Select Additional details. In the “Update schedule” section, you’ll find when your Chromebook will receive its last update. Update schedule This device (my CHROMEBOOK) will get automatic software and security updates until June 2030. I don't need the speedy processor or huge memory on board. It gives me 320 bps wireless. Horrible !!!! died on me after barely using it twice

Works great. I love the keypad availiblity. The system runs great and allows for effortless work. The battery last for a long time. The computer is easy to use.

Don't bother traveling with it. It's humongous. For a business user, it's definitely underpowered in both CPU and RAM. For a casual home user running an email app, a browser, and maybe a word processor app, it's fantastic. I pushed it with Teams, a couple of Office365 apps, browser with several tabs, then it started to stutter. Adding a couple more heavy apps brought it to a barely usable state... If you want to use it for business, I'd look to pay another C-note with double the RAM (to 8 GB) and a next-level-up CPU. BTW, the battery life is excellent -- running well over 7 hours.

I've never had a Chromebook before. I like it. Even tho I prefer windows this works for everything I need it for. And for the price wow I'm shook. It doesn't run slow or glitch or skip or anything runs very smooth and fast. You can't beat this deal. I'm very happy with my Chromebook. And the screen size and resolution is nice too. I love it.

I got two of these as open box. Great to have the extra display real estate for older eyes and the extra typing surface is great/more comfortable. It's so light weight and the battery life which is the main benefit is super long. I used this much more often than my Windows laptop. I've had some connection issues on both chromebooks where it will sometimes lose WiFi but easy to rectify by enabling/disabling. I think the best part is I paid less than $100 average for each b/c of open box. Nice feature is to pair with phone to use it as hot spot and to type text messages.

Excellent purchase for the price. It is slightly fragile (3/5) and has scratched and chipped here and there from frequent drops. Despite the frequent drops, laptop runs excellent. It is a Chromebook so it's not comparable with every single thing out there but for college, work and leisure it works amazing. I've never had any lagging issues despite having 30+ tabs open and the watching Hulu and Netflix. It's a large screen which is why I purchased and I LOVE that aspect. It's not too heavy and it charges quickly enough. Great battery life compared to some Mac devices. Slap a protective case on this and you have a quality and appealing laptop!

I did not want to use my expensive work laptop for watching shows with headphones. When this was on promo for $189 I had to buy it mostly for the big 17 inch screen It is perfect for surfing the net and watching shows. I have only had it a couple weeks and am very happy so far. The only downside was trying for a couple of hours to log on to apple tv. It would get stuck on free trial. I could not watch. I later went to the extensions in settings and turned off mcafee weboost and the problem was solved.

This is my third Chromebook. First was a Best Buy open box Acer with a beautiful 11" screen, bought 10 years ago for about $100. Bought it mainly to see what Chromebooks were all about. Second was a Best Buy open box Lenovo with a 14" screen, bought for $100 with bigger screen and better AUE. Has served me well. This Asus was bought for the even bigger 17" screen, and I love the generous screen size, being a senior. The Intel Celeron N4500 processor is plenty fast. In Chromebooks 4 GB of RAM is plenty. The 64 GB eMMC seems just about as fast as the SSD in my HP Windows laptop with an Intel I5 processor. If most of what you do on a computer is read email and surf the Web, this Chromebook is all you really need. Plus, I got this Chromebook, which is regularly priced at $299, for $124.99 open box excellent. When I unboxed it, it appeared to be brand new! Setup was quick and easy, but as I said above it is my third Chromebook. Connecting to my home network was easy and connecting to a wireless printer is now also easy for Chromebooks (back in the day, it was a bit of a pain). Highly recommended if you can catch it on sale!

I've had Chromebooks for a decade now and they are reliable and secure. Nice for banking and shopping, email, etc. This is a nice replacement for another Chromebook that will no longer be receiving updates. Nice, big screen, fast and does what I need it to do.

This has been the best gift for a senior family member (82). They love to surf the web and this Chromebook is a PERFECT device for them. The large 17.3" screen size is so nice for their eyesight and the colors are bright and vivid. The only negative would be that the keys are a little difficult for them to read. To fix this, we placed bold letter stickers on the keys. The letters of the keyboard are much more clear now - a simple and inexpensive solution! Because the screen is such a great size, we also were able to make the display settings much larger and it not only looks fantastic but is also very very easy on the eyes. No issues with the speakers - clear and loud for them to hear. I would recommend this device for basic tasks. It's very simple to use even if not tech savvy

This is my first pc and I gotta say this thing is amazing it runs with no problem, easy to set up and is affordable. I'm in the navy and this thing has no issue connecting to a cac reader and is just so reliable. The screen is big but i mean it is a computer and comes in handy for when you watch a movie. Forrgot to mention but the batter life is insane!!!

We got this laptop for out daughters graduation gift. She wanted something she can use for gaming but also for school work. This laptop was perfect the screen isnl the roght size the features on the laptop are Amamzing! Andnthe battery life is great. Even thought we got it as an open box the laptop was in PERFECT shape

ASUS chromebook is perfect for our family. Affordable; bigger screen and long life battery.

I purchased this for my 87 yr old mother who has vision issues and the size of the screen and accessibility choices are excellent. The laptop is basic and perfect for my mom. Setting it up was very easy and nice all the apps she uses and websites she goes to were available & could be added for easy access. It's a little heavy but she said it's not to bad
