I love my new laptop. The high def resolution is awesome, the response time is superb (16GM RAM), and the tons of hard drive space (over 2TB) allows me store all kinds of apps, photos, videos, etc!

this is a great laptop, very fast smooth operation, but the only downside is asus soldered on board 8 gigs of ram. only one chip can be replaced. its not a gaming laptop but it handles games ok.

Wow! Was not expecting this to be as good as it is with all the photoshop / illustrator and other demands. Great speed and use. Quiet overall. Money that imho was well worth the spend!

have used ASUS for years. love the lighted keys...

I did some research before deciding on buying this Laptop. I bought it but had to return may laptop because the screen kept flickering randomly. Got the same laptop again which does have that flicker issue but it's not as bad as it was in the previous one.

This is hands down the best laptop for the money! Very impressed with the speed and video quality. If anyone wants the most bang for their buck then this is the laptop for you

No complaints. The only thing is the battery doesnt last very long and doesnt look like you can remove or replace it easily.

This is a great laptop, told the wife I needed it for school, but the real reason was it is good enough to use for general gamming. Had a great student discount too.

This is the second ASUS laptop in the family so using it was familiar. Like the touch screen. Haven't used the tablet feature yet, but see the advantage it offers.

As a graphic designer and photographer, it is always a struggle finding a computer that has everything a creative individual like myself is looking for without spending over $1500. After many weeks of research, I stumbled across this computer and I'm so glad that I did. In fact, this computer is working so well with my adobe programs and other creative software that I am baffled Asus isn't marketing this aggressively against the Macbook Pro, iPad Pro, and Microsoft Surface line of computers. Here's why this computer is awesome: + 4k screen offers great colors, sharpness, and clarity (especially for high resolution photos). + The screen is also a touch screen that is windows ink enabled, which means with the right stylus (I use the Bamboo Ink), you can physically draw on the screen while using the full version of photoshop, illustrator, and other programs which is just amazing. + The 2.5TB of hard drive space is great, and with one of those drives being a 500+ GB solid state drive, you have plenty of space to install resource-heavy programs and render out 4k videos in Premier Pro. + So far, this computer handles Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premier Pro, and InDesign better than my $3300 Dell M3800 I bought two years ago! + The Nvidia graphics card also helps with resource-heavy programs and can probably handle most of today's games (not in 4k though I think). + This thing is also a tablet! It's so nice to be able to fold this computer in half and just draw on the screen as if its a big iPad. Performance doesn't seem to diminish in tablet mode either. + Everything seems to load fast, there is very little bloatware, and setting everything up with Windows 10 was easy. + I like the black color and the overall feel of the unit as it doesn't feel cheap or plastic-y in my opinion. + A decent amount of ports and even the new USB-C port makes this even more future proof. + Can output 4k video so if you want to view your photos or videos in high resolution on a 4k TV you definitely can. (I did notice some minor lag though when "extending the display" to my 4k tv, mirroring the display seemed to have no lag). + It's just the right size, not too big, not too small, not too heavy, and not too light (doesn't feel like you'll break it) + Unlocking the computer with my face is cool (even if it's a common feature on other computers) + Really like how they were able to fit a number pad onto the keyboard. Here are a couple things that I would change on future models: - They need a notch somewhere around the outer bezel as it can be difficult to open if you have larger fingers like me. - It would be awesome if they included a stylus with the computer - The box, while not horrible, looks cheap compared to the high-end feel this computer has, and to the packaging I've seen with Apple products. - Unlike the iPad or Surface, there aren't many model-specific accessories available for this computer (like protective cases or screens). Overall, I'm very impressed by this 2-in-1 that offers serious performance, an amazing 4k touch screen, and even a pretty decent video card. If you're looking for a computer that can handle almost anything you could throw at it for a decent price, you should seriously consider this one, especially if you're a photographer or graphic designer..

I bought an Asus laptop last year for $1000 and I loved it. I have recently gotten into 4K stuff and I guess I just had to have the 4K version Asus laptop too. I have been happy from day one with this laptop. It came with an external speaker that I didn't even know about and WOW the sound for my games and movies is so crisp that its almost sounds better then my 4k Samsung TV. It is fast and I have had no problems with facial recognition in fact I love that part of it. Screen is clear sound is great it is the best laptop I have owned so far and I have had my fair share. It is worth every penny!

So I've only had this for a couple of days but I really like it. Disappointed that it was listed as having a fingerprint reader when it does not, but it's not something that would've halted my purchase had I known beforehand, even if it is something I was searching for. I will definitely come back to update within a few months if that's possible. Oh, heads up: someone wrote about the trackpad freezing the mouse for a few seconds here and there and that is very true. It can be annoying but I caught this laptop on sale for $999 and that's a minor issue for me.

PC was great until I noticed battery was draining after shutdown. had to turn off Windows 10 Fast Start to alleviate the problem. Watching the battery meter closely!

The computer is fast and light weight. My only complaint is that some screens come up so small I can't read them. These screens won't let you increase their size.

So far I am quite happy with this product. Plenty of storage space and fast. Definitely an upgrade from my last laptop. I only wish it could be lighter to carry.

Have only had a short time and haven't been able to use a lot yet but bought strictly for business purposes. Have enjoyed. Screen easy to see.

Great overall laptop. Best attribute is the amount of memory on hard drive and ssd. If the graphics card was say, a 970 or 980 this would be a 5 star laptop laptop

For the price the computer is good for most home projects. Only thing I dont like is that it has 2 graphics cards. The GeForce is only for an external monitor

this thing can't be stopped from upgrading to Windows 10. And then it keeps downloading updates that fail to install. The machine came with Windows 7. I did not ask for it to upgrade to anything. Now the machine has a record of unreliability and there is no way to stop it. time to get the original software on a bootable usb from asus and start all over again. Why should I have to do this?

There were only 2 comparable models in the store, and this had the price, but had far more storage capability. The other models look nice and have a bigger brand name, but you should compare the guts of what you are purchasing, not the fancy appeal. This laptop is super fast. No issues so far, but the particular sale made it $400 + cheaper compared to similar ssd, memory, and speeds. It can hold so much and never seems to slow down. If you're a gamer, try this compared to the bigger name brands. You'll find more "bang for the buck."
