Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only complaint I have is this monitor is compatible with hdmi, dvi, and vga. My graphics card is also compatible with all three, but for some reason I could only get vga to work. HDMI wouldn't fit the screen (Ive looked everywhere to fix it but I cant) dvi isn't properly fit either it goes over the boundaries, but VGA fits perfectly, it's weird. But the quality is spectacular, and it doesn't ghost at all.

What a deal!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the best monitor with an hdmi port for its price awesome clear hd pictures and gaming. sleek design, super slim, although the stand could be a little more sturdier but it really isnt a big deal at all. for $150 you cant go wrong.

This ASUS VS229H-P

But, I had an issue while using an HDMI cable with this monitor, would flicker, blink and sometimes the screens colors would be distorted. Come to find out - it was the "CHEAP" HDMI cable I purchased on eBay, so I purchased a "New" PNY - 6ft - Thin - HDMI Cable - Part No. C-H-P10-A06-H at my neighborhood Best Buy here in Daytona Beach FL. - Now I don't have that problem anymore. All is Good Now, Thanks ASUS for making "Kick Ash" monitors and Thanks Best Buy for "Selling" ASUS products......

Easy to see, crisp images, awesome color & details

Screen adjustment buttons are located along the right side bottom edge of the screen & are easy to hit by mistake when moving the monitor, be careful. Color, detail is wonderful. However, paper work instructions on set up & adjustments was hard to understand for a newbee.

Good but flickers when using Windows 8.1 on HDMI

Maybe this particular monitor was defective. It had all the features I was looking for.

Not what I expected

It didn't ! We had to buy cables and the audio still didn't work ! We had to return it and get one with speakers!
