This looked like a great monitor from the specs, but once connected I was immediately disappointed. The contrast was horrible. I tried many different settings and could not get the monitor to properly display details. The biggest problem was grey images (like in Google Maps) on a lighter or white background. All definition of the grey area was lost.

Nice image quality for the beginner gamer. Good value for the price.

Has been working fine until now. However not a big fan of ASUS products. A laptop that I purchased from them crashed right after the warranty period of 1 yr.

I cannot figure out how to apply the proper settings. This monitor stretches the wallpaper images & distorts the original image

we got this tv for my parent's bedroom. it serves it's purpose.

I bought two of these, one for my husband and one for me. We both like the size. When you look at the monitor, you can see the whole picture from side to side. The picture is very clear also. The price is right too and there is a 3 year warranty.

A year ago I ordered two top of the line monitors, which turned out to be backordered and I decided to take these, figuring that they were relatively inexpensive and when the other ones came in I'd cut my losses. About six weeks later, when BestBuy called to say that they had come in, I told them that I didn't want them and I have never regretted that decision. I'm a broadcast journalist and use two of these monitors 12 hours a day to select photos, edit video, cut audio and write copy, often all at the same time. I have been impressed by the monitors' excellent picture quality and fast response time, which rivals displays that cost two to three times the price. The displays have been on 24/7 for a year now and continue to work just as well as they did the day I got them. Also, while incredibly thin and light, they are VESA compliant, which allowed me to easily mount them to a dual monitor stand, freeing up valuable desk space. This can be of particular value to those business users working in small cubicles or home users who want to save space or just have a cleaner look. I should also note that this monitor has VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs, ensuring that no matter what kind of computer you have, you will be able to connect with ease. I did take off style points due to the lack of a built-in audio output or USB ports, but both of those are minor points, easily solved with a set of inexpensive speakers and a USB hub. I've had a great experience with these over the past year and hope to continue to for years to come.

The computer arrived with a broken ON button. Since the computer was sold-out, it was shipped to the Best Buy Service Center for manufacturer warranty repair.
