As far as performance goes this motor is very good performer. very smooth at 144mhz. my games are much smoother. Problem is at 27" the picture is a little grainy. If this were 25" it probably would have been a much sharper picture. I have a 25" monitor and the picture is great, but it is slow and I get motion blur from it. Things are not nearly as smooth as with this monitor. If you are just looking for a 27" monitor that is fast for gaming this monitor will work great. If you want speed and a great picture you need a 2K monitor 2560 X 1440 or 4K.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great colors, awesome viewing angles, and the picture is still spot-on for a 1080p 27" monitor. the preset out of the box modes for changing the colors and pictures are great so didn't really have to mess with that the stand is nice and simple doesn't really take up much space so yeah really enjoying my purchase I'll update if anything happens after the fact since I've only owned this for a week or so the only con is that this monitor isn't g-sync compatible "yet" so holding out on that.

First, after about 3 days it developed a dead pixel dead center, which had expanded to 3 dead pixlels in a short period. Second, the speakers are terrible, so don't count on them even from system sounds, they are barely audible. And finally all that bezel, thickness and plastic and no USB hub? I returned this unit, ASUS has become a panel lottery company.
