This monitor does have that feature, and you can find more information on how to enable it in Chapter 3 of the manual linked below. Has different modes that can adjust and make your games look good when playing. Used it for certain survival games to brighten things up when normal would have been hella dark

I actually own a slightly older model of this too that is gsync compatible with the NVIDIA video card which I have. Why they changed this newest model to free/adaptive sync instead is beyond me. When you go into the settings for NVIDIA, it DOES say gsync not compatible, fyi.. If you're a gamer and picky when having the NVIDIA card, get a gsync monitor to pair along with it. If not too picky like me and using it for more than just gaming, just go with it. Still, a great monitor. Nice LED lighting and IPS update from older models. No tearing or bad images. Easy to set up to your liking. I'd recommend for sure.

I know pretty much only a 1080TI or an Rtx 2080 would be able to push 120fps on a 1440p screen. So I got this IPS 27" 1080p screen to play Battlefield 4 mainly. And the game looks BEAUTIFUL ON IT, all while pushing 160fps on high-ultra settings consistently. With some adjustments the colors look deep black and red. I've had the TN and VA monitors and returned them all. I stopped gaming till the 1080p IPS 144hz came out. This Asus is worth the $300 I spent on it during Christmas.

The one thing (if I had to add a negative comment) is the single speaker on it could be a tad more loud. Outside of that amazing monitor.

The colors were off. This brings the best of both worlds. I get better contrast AND get faster response times. Would r8 8/8 m8
