Decided to get a larger monitor to replace my dual monitor setup. Heard many great things about this monitor and decided to take the leap. Have had it for almost a month now and I'm very happy with my purchase. So clear. So crisp. After calibrating this is the best monitor I've used.

super colors and fidelity. just what we needed for gaming

This monitor has great resolution. If you are a PC gamer and expect quality graphics with minimum input lag. Then this is the monitor you want. Price is very reasonable.

Fantastic monitor for the price. Great HD quality, and the perfect size if you want a large monitor. I use with my apple laptop since the apple monitor is too expensive for my blood! A great backup!

This ASUS with than less than 4K resolution works great with its multiple HDMI inputs. Because it is just below the high end resolution I'm able to now balance the size of the font, icons, and other operational aspects of my machine but still get the benefits of higher resolution when performing photo editing and CAD work. Base and stand are very heavy duty and reduce screen bouncing un like the Samsung that I returned after I picked this one up.

After reading countless reviews about 2k v 4K we decided to give this monitor a go. It had the best price-per-rating ratio of all equivalently specked monitors. We could not be happier with it. It is gorgeous. Convenient tilt, convenient rotation, more than one high def input, AND it came with cables for each input. Many monitors only come with VGA cables even if they support higher resolutions. I've been telling everyone about this monitor!

This monitor does not have high-end features like 144hz or G-sync, but it is a great product anyway, and the price can't be beat. It does include a tilting AND height adjustable stand, which tends to only be included in more expensive monitors. If you want a great experience for under $500, this is the display for you.

I brought this monitor know that may have issues you can't believe everything you read so I try it. could not get dvi-dl to work but the d-sub work fine had a nice picture but it was you 1080 and I brought it for 1440 hdmi work fine when they test at best buy they check my pc the dvi-dl work fine I return it they told me that they were out stock sorry I had to wait until they get more inn to get me another one by the time they got them inn they were not on sale anymore and they would not honor the sale price and that was ok because it probably on going problem with asus

Love having this monitor for work. Lots of room to have multiple applications running, or to zoom in when drawing, laying out, or touching up photos in Adobe CS. No more eye strain for me, but I did upgrade to this from a 19 inch monitor, so it totally understandable.

Quality control issue...there are dead pixels...replaced twice without much luck...returned it. I would not recommend.

My son chose this monitor and loves it! He is into gaming and he says there is no delay on this one.

Excellent value for a very capable 27 inch, 2k resoluton IPS-quality monitor. The image quality is excellent as are the viewing angles. However, the built in sound/speakers are very cheap. I have been very satisfied with my purchase since April 2014.

I purchased this monitor with the expectation of replacing my two 1080p 21.5" monitors. In terms of use, I design websites, author custom web applications, and offer IT support. Unfortunately things didn't work out. Here's why I ultimately returned the monitor: 1) Connectivity. My Macbook supports HDMI and Mini DisplayPort. HDMI offered a very fuzzy picture. Images looked fine but menus and text were blurry. Using Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort solved the issue with clarity BUT as you'll see in other reviews the DisplayPort on this monitor is ridden with bugs (won't wake from sleep, random blinking, etc). 2) Text refinement/clarity. Even when connected with a DisplayPort cable, I was experiencing far more eye strain reading text on this monitor vs my older 21.5" 1080p monitors. Side by side, this monitor produced text that was less sharp. Technically the dot pitch on this monitor is smaller than my old one so it should have been sharper. That's not what I experienced. 3) Backlight bleed. I don't do a lot of gaming but backlight bleed was extremely noticeable on dark images and websites. I found myself moving my head to avoid seeing the washout effect it produced (like old non-TFT monitors). It was not noticeable on the left side of the screen while the bottom right corner was awful. There is a professional review of this monitor on another website that discusses uneven backlighting which might have something to do with what I was seeing. 4) Color accuracy. This is probably a non-issue for average users but as a professional I found it incredibly difficult to work with. I have several laptops and monitors that I test my designs on before sending them to clients. This monitor produced colors that were darker than any other display I own (to the amount of several shades in a color picker). The white balance on this monitor was also very difficult to dial in. I either found it far too cool or warm following calibration. and it was too warm uncalibrated. Whites had a slightly red hue to them out of the box. The sum of these issues forced me to return this monitor. As much as the size and resolution were amazing, these negatives outweighed the extra screen real-estate I gained.

In the world of extreme-definition monitors, the Asus PB278Q almost perfectly hits a happy medium between features and value. The PB278Q is a great assortment of customization features at about the same price. The Asus can't quite match the performance of the $100 more expensive Dell U2713HM and lacks the Dell's USB ports and plentiful assortment of presets, but for $100 less it's a great lower-priced alternative for those looking to save a few bucks on an extreme-definition monitor.

Got the higher resolution for playing PC games, very happy with my purchase

It's a wonderful monitor. It's big, bright and clear. Just make sure your video card can handle the resolution before buying.

I bought this monitor for my Laptop. I needed high resolution monitor which solves my purpose. it is very easy to set up and you get great images. I got a good price. Thank you so much Best Buy

Monitor works great, very little input lag, nice colors. However the power connector is messed up

Great monitor display. Makes work much easier when working with large spreadsheets etc. And the stand is simply awesome. Best monitor stand I've owned yet. You can raise, lower, tilt and rotate. Yes please.
