Pros: * Excellent refresh rate even at 4K resolution. * Convenient VESA mount. * DDC input switching via command line. Cons: * On-monitor controls are difficult to use. Summary: Well built and mounts to a monitor arm easy for portrait or landscape use.  Virtually no flicker or tearing in games, even at 4k resolutions.  HDR doesn’t really add much to the experience so if you are looking for that, this may not be your monitor. Plus, depending on your graphics card, HDR may only work if connected via HDMI. One of the hidden gems of the monitor is the ability to use DDC to change the monitor input channel via the command line.  If you need to hook up several machines this makes it super simple to switch video input depending on which machine you are using. Thankfully, you probably won’t need to use the control buttons on the monitor often, because they are really obtuse in shape, layout and labeling. They are on the back of the monitor and the icons representing what they do are on the side. Also, there isn’t much in the way of a logical layout - they are just 4 buttons in column. Overall a good monitor for gaming. What few complaints I have do not prevent a recommendation for regular daily use for gaming or any other task.

Just great 4k monitor. Got it for Starfield and it does the job now need to get video card that supports 4k with appropriate FPS

One of the best "bang for your buck" monitors on the market for the price you can't beat tge quality and smoothness it operates at. Great price for a 4k monitor and have always loved the asus brand.

This is a great monitor, as are all the Asus products I've used and continue to use. There are many options to optimize your screen for whatever application you are using it for, and great features for gaming like the aiming dots you can overlay on the screen. This model only hits 60 FPS, but with a 4090 putting out around 200 fps for the games I've been playing, there is very little screen tearing that I don't even notice while playing. Overall a great monitor for the price, and Asus doing what they do best.

Recommend 100 percent bought it and been having it for like 3 years already perfect for gaming

This is my first 4K monitor. I use it now for work and the extra pixels are wonderful. The 28" size is ideal for normal workplace spaces. 30" start to look oversized. I have used this monitor every day for work and occasional play. The brightness and color looks right but I am no connoisseur. There are many other options for low cost 4K monitors these days. If you need a new monitor don't hold back on resolution.

This is a great 4K monitor for the price. The screen color and quality is bright, sharp, and vibrant. At 80% brightness and contrast, Athe screen is even brighter and sharper than my QHD gaming monitor at the same level. There are also no dead pixels or backlight bleeding which is amazing. I haven’t tried out any games on it yet so I can’t say anything as to the 60Hz refresh rate, however for daily work, media consumption, and web browsing, this monitor is a great value and amazing to use. I highly recommend it for an entry level 4K monitor.

So far so good. Got this for my PS5, and I am loving the vibrant colors. I was playing my PS5 on my 75 inch Samsung Qled. Most of my warzone friends all play on monitor and said its better, so i went ahead and got a affordable 4k monitor. I really like the stand and how you can adjust the height and rotation. Warzone on the monitor is nice and crisp, Even though its doing 4k 60Hz, I am pleased. It comes with HDMI 2.0

This ticked all the boxes for me. I didn't need high refresh rate, or high-nit HDR. I wanted quality 4K with great color and having any HDR is a bonus. It's hooked up to my PS5 and PC with an RTX 30 series and I love every minute of it on both. You do you.

Been using this daily for the last 3 months. It's has been great with no issues. Good price point. I prefer the slightly larger 28 inch comparing to the normal 27 inch from the other brands. It does need a little calibration to get the color that I wanted. Once calibrated, color looks great.

A great monitor. it's color, contrast, brightness, shapness are wonderful to look atin all that you do. the monitor puts a softness to your eyes which I enjoy looking at in all modes. color deapth is great also. a wonderful monitor.

Good monitor if you’re only going to be doing 60hz gaming. One annoying thing is the auto detection for hdmi. It doesn’t read it when first plugging in a new source but after that it usually detects it.

Great monitor. Went with this over waiting for an HDMI 2.1 to play my PS5. I’m sure I’d be able to tel the difference side by side, but really doesn’t bother me with the amount I play. This doubles as a work monitor for me and everything comes in crisp.

Good multipurpose 4k monitor. Great color for video production and everyday use. Great for single player games, not good for online multiplayer.

I've read the not-so-great reviews but I love this monitor. The colors are true and editing videos has been seamless.

I like this so much I bought another one. I thought they would drop the price for Black Friday but they did not. Worth every dollar! If you are hesitant just do it.

Solid performance, nice on the eyes, good on the wallet. The tilt and swivel is a great feature that all monitors should come with. The long cord lets me move around a large area that i play in. I had the previous version and loved that one as well. I been buying asus for years and love most of their products.

Excellent picture, responsive, great for gaming. Very intuitive controls. 4K looks fantastic—all in all, a good value gaming monitor.
