Nice Compact System--Great For Everyday and More
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If it’s been a while since your last computer upgrade and you’re looking for the compactness and cable-neatness of an all-in-one, the ASUS A3403T would be a good choice. My last all-in-one was only about three years old, but had Intel’s 10th generation processor. Even with an i7 and 16GB of RAM, the not-so-old system struggled with multitasking and any video-related task—mainly because the integrated graphics with the 10th generation processor was so inadequate. All that changed with Intel’s 11th generation processors, and the improvement continues with the 12th generation processor, which is what this ASUS all-in-one is equipped with. The ASUS system—with an i5, Intel’s integrated Iris XE graphics and 8GB of RAM—outperforms my last all-in-one by very large leaps and bounds. Scrolling through websites on the internet is smooth; video editing takes 1/3 the time (I am achieving over 300 frames per second in DVD-quality processing), and running multiple tasks simultaneously is absolutely no issue. Applications load very quickly, and file transfer rates are fast—be sure to use the high-speed USB ports. I was able to run several Office applications, have several browser tabs open, and run Minitab all simultaneously--no sweat. The screen, which has touch capability, is responsive, and is not hard on the eyes. The screen image is sharp and has nice contrast. The included MyASUS app has some really nice video customization features, including blue light reduction. The screen itself has tilt adjustment, but no height adjustment. However, on a standard height desk, the top of the monitor is at eye level, which is the recommended height for comfortable computing. The included Bluetooth keyboard and mouse are not the best, but they work well and have decent feel. Preferences for keyboards and mice are very personal, so what I don’t like might be great for you, and vice versa. The 256GB drive may be considered too small, but only if you plan to have a lot of video and/or gaming files on the computer. Speaking of which, gaming was much better than expected—being able to run higher frame rates and resolutions than I thought. At a later date, I will try to replace the SSD with a larger on by opening up the system. I might increase the RAM while I’m at it to create a monster system. I appreciate the USB port that is on the underside of the system, which allows one device with easier access than with the (plentiful) USB ports on the rear of the system. However, when plugging in a USB device on this underside port, you’ll need to hold the top of the system for stability. I actually leave a USB extension cable plugged in to avoid that. Another feature which is fabulous is the mode button, which switches the system between the computer and the HDMI input. The button is easy to feel and locate on the underside of the system. It allows me to run my work laptop through the ASUS all-in-one screen, and I can seamlessly switch back and forth between my home computer and my work laptop. The camera is 720p, which is fine for video meetings. Sound from the speakers is full and crisp, plus there is a headphone jack for more private listening. ASUS really makes nice computer systems. I’ve owned ASUS laptops in the past and have been very happy with them. This ASUS all-in-one is working great thus far, and I would recommend it.

Very Nice AIO PC
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Asus A3402T is a very nice All In One (AIO) PC with enough performance to be used as an everyday casual PC. It features a 12th gen Intel i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, and a 24 inch 1080p HD touch screen. None of this is top of the line stuff, but as mentioned before, is perfectly fine for most every day uses. The SSD in particular is a great addition, as it offers great start-up performance. No more waiting 5+ minutes for your PC to boot up. This PC also offers lots of connectivity options. There are 5 USB ports total, 4 USB-A and one USC-C. However, all of these ports ar around the back of the machine, which makes them just a bit difficult to get to. Also included are HDMI in and out ports so you can either connect to an external display or use this as an external monitor for another device. That is always a nice touch in an all-in-one and allows for more versatility. Lastly, there is an ethernet port if you want to connect directly to a modem/router, and for wifi, it features the newest wifi-6 standard, for added performance/reliability with the newest wifi tech. A keyboard and mouse are included, however, like many other brands that include keyboard and mice, they aren't the highest quality, and I would suggest just bringing your own. Overall, this is just a really nice, versatile AIO PC. My only real issue with it is all of the ports are around back, making it difficult to connect accessories. If they just put a few ports on the front or sides, I would easily give this 5 stars.

Small footprint, Big power.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a computer for quick day use or guest usage, and this sits on my formerly useless breakfast bar in my apartment. First thing noticed, was how light the entire thing is. Compared to a fruit labeled computer, this was much lighter, and I liked that. The plug is nice too, it reminds me of my laptop's brick like charger. Same concept here. The 24 inch touch screen is a nice mat-finish, Bonus for the touch screen, and lack of finger prints get left. The mouse and keyboard are wireless, and the only minor annoyance is that there is no on/off switch to conserve battery. Speed wise, it's snappy. I don't like MS Edge and prefer Chrome. No issues in lag with the ram and process speed. Storage is storage. In this day and age, a 1tb drive should be standard, but here we are on a 512 gb SSD. The only major downside to AIO's is the lack of self-repair ability with the physical unit. I work on my rigs, and this one is sealed tight. Sooo consider a warranty! Sound quality is pretty good for the built in speakers: another bonus, as the sound is pretty good. All the ports are in the back, 4 USB 3.0, and HDMI input and output. As this acts as a TV.

Open Box Excellent item misrepresentation.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Open Box-Excellent at a very good price, however the transceiver for the wireless mouse and keyboard did not work. Best buy support was unhelpful 3 different times I contacted so I contacted ASUS and they helped me with doing a repair request send in, however, I had to pay for a box and shipping materials. I contacted best buy to see if I could get a credit for the box and materials I had to purchase but they declined online and over the phone. I would like to suggest that Best buy would inspect their open box items better before selling them.

Great All-in-One for home or home office use!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned ASUS laptops before, but never a desktop. I am super pleased with the All-in-One for many reasons and recommend it to others. Opening the carton, I found the All-in-one and a box that contained the keyboard, mouse, power cord and Quick Start instructions. Within a few minutes, I had powered up the machine and was connecting to my wifi. Sweet! The machine is very sleek, sitting on a heavy base that adjusts down 5 degrees and up 20 degrees. There is not a height adjustment, so I placed it on a chemistry textbook to get proper height for me. From the front, there are no visible controls, just a tiny white light on the lower right showing it is on. the screen is very nice, with great color and very responsive touch. All control of the display is done through Windows settings. The power control is located on the back of the screen about two inches from the bottom on the right side as you face it, easily clicked by your fingers. At first, I kept trying to find a button on the bottom edge, likely because I have other monitors with bottom edge power buttons. Note that there is one button on the bottom edge-- the 'mode' button, which switches use of the screen from all-in-one monitor to second screen on a different computer. This allows you to use the machine as a second computer screen if you like. On the back you will find several USB 3.0 slots, a 2.0 slot, USB-C slot and HDMI in and out slots. So you can either add another monitor or use the all-in-one as an extra monitor with the mode button. Speaking of that, near the mode button is one USB slot and a port for audio on the lower right side, making it handy to add a USB drive or earphones without moving the all-in-one to get to the back. The wireless keyboard and mouse have a USB dongle (ie., they are NOT bluetooth). The graphic instructions show that you will find the dongle in the mouse. I put mine into the USB 2.0 slot and it works a treat. The keyboard and mouse come with batteries and are serviceable, but nothing special. I think it's great they were included as it allowed me to get up and running quickly. I will likely add a different mouse due to hand issues, but this one works just fine. The camera is molded into the top of the monitor and works alright for video conferencing or calls. The downside I found was the lack of a 'cover' to prevent unintentional recording from a remote location. Quick solution is a couple of sticky notes, but I will likely fashion a flipover cover taped to the back and draping over the camera lens. Now, the performance! This comes with the i5 processor and 8 gb RAM. Once all the updates and settings were in place, I turned on a browser, ran streaming video, opened a video conference program and connected to another computer, and also connected to an external drive where I was asking it to search for a file. This machine did not slow down! As a remote worker, this is about the maximum programs I might have open at once, even if not running them all at once. I am very pleased with this performance as a remote worker who frequently has many programs open at once. It should be noted that the SSD hard drive makes it quick to start and load, but you need to store files in the cloud or removable storage for long-term safety. In summation, I recommend this machine for someone who wants a computer set up ready to use at all times. I am building a new house with a large kitchen and plan to set this machine in the desk area. I think it is better than keeping a laptop in there because I think the large screen and sleek design will complement the area and allow me to work while not in the home office, or pull up files for cooking! With the large touch screen, I can quickly move from screen to screen without using the mouse, so that is super handy. Plus, the price point is good !

A 24 inch touchscreen is awesome
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was quick and easy, ran a couple automatic updates and it was ready to go within 15 minutes of opening the box. It's nice looking, sleek and really is the perfect all in one PC that fits almost anywhere and takes up so much less space than a traditional desktop. We currently have it in the bedroom on a small desk that would not allow a desktop tower and monitor to squeeze into the available area. The 24 inch screen is large enough and perfect for our needs. Great for surfing the web, reading emails without having to struggle to see. The biggest draw for me is that this is a touchscreen and has very accurate touch points. It's like having a giant laptop. I really love this feature the most. The sound is actually very good for having the speakers built in. Another great space saving feature. Not so much bass but able to watch youtube videos and Netflix movies with no issues at all. The keyboard and mouse are basic, both wireless and blend in just fine with the rest of it. We've had a lot of ASUS products over the years and have never been disappointed. From laptops to monitors, the quality had always been great. This is just a really good all around family computer to do all the basic day to day things.

Untrue condition of the item, bad customer support
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all: no missing parts is a lie on the open box excellent condition stated in the description. Missing a power supply cord from the monitor to outlet. Why I specified that? Because a customer rep on the phone tried to tell me that all the parts that are included listed under the item in the overview section. In none of the items, new or used cord is listed as essential however, in the users manual you need to plug-in the cord to the monitor into the outlet to make sure it works. In the beginning, a customer representative told me that they don’t have any at any of their stores. And at that moment I was happy to pay for it, but they simply don’t carry those I was told which was weird for me. Now chatting with another representative who processed me a 10% discount and I asked for the specifications of the cord so I can get it off of Amazon. They directed me to another rep who took more than 30 minutes to tell me that they sell those on Best Buy actually…(!h but they’re more expensive than the discount that was processed to me. And the cherry on top was that the representative on the phone tell me that it’s not listed so it shouldn’t even come in the package. I am sorry, but who do you think I am?! They kindly offered a return and a substitute item. However, I will have to go to post office pack and unpack and wait for another one to come which they offered in the most inconvenient time for me since it was a Christmas present. I don’t think it’s very good way to handle this kind of situations telling me things that are not true, or truly listed, and defend that fact by representing me as a fool who perhaps will believe them telling me there is no power supply cord should be included whatsoever… It was my very first business with the Best Buy, and I think it will be the last. I’ll deal with it on my own, thank you for the greatest customer service!

Stylish design
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a sleek desktop computer without clutter, look no further. This is definitely a minamalist computer. Looks awesome on my desk. It's soo nice to not have a separate tower! Only one cord, the power cord. Easy to hide that! The keyboard and mouse are both wireless. They do connect with a tiny plug that uses one USB port on the back. There are no switches you have to bother with. I'm thinking this computer should last for a very long time. Plenty of storage, plenty of memory, the latest software. Boot up is quite fast (gone are the days when you flip on the computer, then go make a cup of coffee while you wait) The screen is big and beautiful. Great picture of course and a matte finish to the screen to cut glare. There are ports on the back to connect to, 2 HDMIs, 4 USB, and 1 USB C. The built in speakers sound quite good for how little they are. I usually hook up external speakers but I'm thinking I now won't need to. So far the only downside I've found, is that it does not have a built in cd/DVD drive. (I haven't needed to get a new computer for quite some time) This usually wouldn't be a problem nowadays but if you have any games or software on cd, you will need a separate drive for that. This is definitely not a powerhouse gaming rig, but for everyday use (which is what I need) it is nearly perfect. So far I'm thrilled with it!

Nice fast AIO
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AIO PCs are a great option for a non gaming desktop and ASUS has made another great product. The screen quality is fairly good and form factor stylish and compact. The A3402T ships with a good wireless mouse and keyboard (battery powered). The built in web can is very good quality and the screen colors are fairly good. I would have preferred a hardware cover for the web cam. I also personally prefer at least 1200 monitor pixels vertically for web browsing (not the 1080 which is much more standard). The pixel size however is fine at typical AIO viewing distances. The 12th gen process and hard drive are extremely responsive and are quiet. The specific processer is the low voltage 1235U. There are no heat or fan issue as are common in other brands. The touch screen is a nice feature for some and the screen is matte. Windows 11 is improving but I continue to worry about privacy but is is certainly quick and highly functional. I have owned many ASUS products and find them to be extremely reliable and well supported. Wifi performance is excellent and much improved over my prior AIO (this is great as it is located in a corner of my home.
