Easily covers a 1400 sq ft, easily supporting at least 62 Gbps speeds. Easy step by step instructions for set up. Couldn't be happier. Can turn lights out with the press of a button on the router, nice depending on its location.

After being disappointed with a wireless N router, this fit all my needs and resulted in a significant increase in speed and overall performance. A great router that's been around for a few years and is now much more affordable than it was when it released originally. The user interface is intuitive and fairly simple.to use.

I used to be a very loyal Netgear customer always buying the Nighthawk routers. But thinking back to always having to turn them off and on again because they’d slow down or loose connection it became ridiculous. Yes they’re excellent when they work but for the amount you pay you’d expect better and absolutely no issues with them. Then I gave ASUS a try. Boy am I glad! This router is EXCELLENT. I’ve never had issues with it, I’ve never had to turn it off and on. It just works. It cost as much as the Nighthawk but it works way better. The range is excellent and so is the speed. I’m never going back to Netgear.

Asus generally makes quality products, and this router is no exception. I needed an upgrade from N to the newer AC protocol. An aggregate of online research boiled it down to a few models and variations within those lines. The differences in more expensive models were features I didn't need. This particular model is very feature packed for the price and performance. With an Xfinity "Blast" package using the 5GHz mode, I get sustained WIRELESS speeds on average of 200 mbps w/ and upload average of 12 mbps. That's pretty amazing. For the Xbox, it roughly translates to a 1 Gigabyte per minute download. The app (Android) is excellent in that it provides a fair amount of functionality for commonly used functions. For more granular control, you'll want to log into the router and fine tune it that way.

Have had good results with this router, which replaced an older Asus b/g/n router. Have good coverage in my 2000 sq ft home, at least 4 or usually 5 bars of wifi everywhere. Sales rep tried to talk me into a more expensive router (different brand) but glad I stuck with this one. Easy to set up, use, and update (firmware). Have a consistent connection with my ISP. Thought it was dropping connections at one point but it turned out to be isolated to one device when using a USB wifi adapter (also Asus brand, ironically). Overall, very happy with this router and Asus products overall.

I didn’t want to spend a fortune, my sales rep recommended this and it seems to be doing a great job. It seems to put a good signal throughout my three floor condo.
Way faster than the Motorola surfboard it replaces.

This is a really competent device. Setup is easy... probably automatic for most situations. But, it has very advanced features if you need them. The range is better than average. I can’t think of anything I miss in features. Great, satisfying product.

The old ISP WIFI signal did not reach the far side of our house, even with an extender. This model was recommended by the Best Buy Tech to go with the new ISP we got and it works, with a strong signal even on the far end of our house.

I will have to leave the techno reviews to the more qualified. What I can tell you is this was well worth the money. Easy to set up and gives strong coverage to my entire house from its central location. I thought I would have to use signal boosters due to the size of my home but even in the far bath with all doors closed and a tile wall there is very little signal drop. I’m getting all of Spectrums advertised 100 mbps signal in every room. The router does exactly what it claims to do..

This is the fourth ASUS AC1900 router that I've purchased over the last couple of years. Features to highlight include a 2.4GHz band that still offers reliable connectivity and approximately 15% of max mbps at 100-yard in a suburban environment. The range is considerably diminished for the 5GHz band -- it gets a pretty choppy around at around half that in the 50-yard range. ASUS has been quite aggressive in their continued tweaking and development of features, which is a welcome relief as compared with other products that I've owned. They've released firmware updates almost every month or two for the last two years, much of it in preparation for and fine-tuning of their AiMesh feature, which is now popularized under different names by different brands, but perhaps not so well implemented. I have three routers that kind of "triangulate" my space. This is admittedly a bit of overkill, but nonetheless a significant solution to a few unique configuration problems. While the system and the software -- both browser based and the iOS / Android versions -- are well implemented and of actual intuitive use, I wasn't truly impressed with the feature until I connected the three together with a hardwire for their main internet connection, which my configuration allowed me to do, but is probably not going to be the case in most applications. Without the hardwire, the system still connected and functioned as described, I was simply not getting the speeds that I had before from my either band. Once the hardwire was established, speeds are at max on both bands at a ridiculous diameter around the perimeter of my property. While there have definitely been a few negative reviews, this router has been one of ASUS's flagship models for a little better than two years, and their continued development and support seem to indicate that both they and a large population of owners tend to know that well enough as well.

This ASUS AC-1900 WiFi router blows the competitors out of the water. Both the 5G and 2.4G band widths works seamlessly and the performance and speed of both is absolutely flawless. Set up was easy and quick. Before you know it, you're streaming high definition videos with no lags or hiccups at all! I would recommend this router to anyone streaming high definitions videos or gaming platforms. Good job as always Asus!!!

This was a great purchase, and I would recommend this router to anyone looking to upgrade their home setup. I was having problems with a previous router and decided to upgrade to this model. After a lot of research I ended up purchasing this Asus, given all the great reviews. Completely worth it. The router is able to handle all the devices and usage our family demands from it. The safety features are great and provide a lot of security. Setup was extremely simple.

Bought this router to replace my second Apple AirPort Extreme.
Super easy to set up (about 10 minutes from pulling out of the box). I live in a 1400sq townhouse, and the areas that the extreme had trouble with, this reaches. Full signal throughput the house and speeds pretty close to what is advertised on the box. The interface is also easy to use and packed with options. Great for setting guest networks and limitations for certain users/devices.

Setup was so easy I only had to log on and add the SSID and encryption key as I was replacing an existing router. All WiFi devices (TVs, DVDs, printer, cell phones, iPads, iPods, and both Mac and Windows computers) found it with no problem. Range is excellent, all through the house, and speed pretty much doubled my old 802.1n router. I like that I can set specific devices to use the 5MHz band for faster streaming while other devices are in use.

I’d never spend $200 or more for a router so I don’t have a baseline for comparison but this router blows away my previous generation Motorola in terms of speed and range.

I already have an Asus RT-AC68P router that i purchaded here yesrs ago (zero problems), great brand, good quality, nice performance. Because of that and the need to increase my wireless network range i decided to purchase this new Asus RT-AC1900P router to use the AirMesh option, so I left this last one as the main router, after that everything went like plug and play, just what I needed.

I am tech savvy, but no expert. This router gets the job done. I have security system with live cameras, 4 smart Tv's, and 8 pcs/cell phones connected to this unit in 2.4/5 the channels. Nothing lags, I stream movies in HAD quality simultaneously in multiple rooms as well on devices. I am very happy with this purchase. It replaced my netgear R6250 that would not produce a descent 2.4ghz channel signal. I plugged this one in and got my 50mbs down and 5 lbs up instantly. The Netgear was doing 2.4mbs down and 0.8 lbs up. I would recommend and purchase again.
