So far it seems to be functioning just like it should. Still have yet to see its full potential, with my gaming console and computer and television WIFI apps.

We needed to replace a router in our house, but didn't have a clue as to what type or brand to purchase. The salesperson who helped us out gave us a run down of our options and his suggestion for this particular router. It was relatively easy to set up and has been working fine.

This router is POWERFUL and definitely worth every penny! I have a 4K smart TV and live with 3 other people, all of which who game on dedicated gaming computers/laptops, and we never struggle with j ternary speed or bandwidth hogging! It never slows down, 10/10 recommend!

We were using the router/modem provided by our internet provider. We were using it four our smart TV, xbox, laptop, and phones. The internet was slow to say the least. We went to Best Buy and some employees recommended we get this product. At first I thought it was pricey but it has done its job. I am so happy we got it ! We stream all day and online game and our internet is super fast.

Needed a option that I could use with openvpn. Had my von up in 5 minutes. Great router.

I was using the xfinity provided wifi model/router but was not getting reception in my living room or home office where we stream and use a desktop computer. I purchased the Asus router with a separate modem and have excellent reception and fast speeds. Very happy

Our old router just aged out of the game and we needed to upgrade. This router is truly a step up and then some. It’s probably even better than I realize, but it’s great at doing what I need it to do. Even with several devices, no complaints.

I replaced an old ASUS N router with a Netgear AC router, but eventually concluded that Netgear's firmware wasn't going to be fixed. Replaced that with this new ASUS router and it has been solid. It has the features and the reliability I need.

Our previous WiFi was constantly bombing out. The sales person at Best Buy recommended this brand of router. It was very easy to install especially for someone who is not tech savvy. We have been completely satisfied with this router and no more WiFi being dropped.

I have an 18 year old, 17 year old a wife and myself all streaming something different or gaming all at the same time. My older Cisco router kept crashing and couldn't keep up. So far this router has been perfect with no internet hiccups at all.

Our last router was ASUS and lasted 4 years before the strain was just too much, hah. I wanted more coverage in the house, so moved up to this unit. It's been great so far, covering 3 floors, multiple gaming devices, computers and phones without any difficulty.

I have used many different network products over the years as an IT professional, and this is one of the best. I install these in the homes of myself and my clients, and the ease of use and power of options available are unrivaled in home consumer wifi-router combos.

Originally purchased a Netgear router from another retailer for an amazing deal. Unfortunately, the wifi connection would freeze for 10-20 seconds every few hours. Little annoying, especially when streaming movies or playing online games. Took it back and purchased this Asus. Completely fixed the wifi freezing issue. This router keeps the wifi connection solid 24/7. The web interface to configure the device is a little...different. Takes some getting used to but that is probably the same for all brands of routers. The only negative I can report at all is that the power/distance of the wifi isn't as good as the Netgear. Still works throughout the house but I sometimes get 1-2 bars instead of the full 3 on the other end. I will gladly trade that for constant solid performance. Just goes to show you that you get what you pay for and a great deal isn't always so great.

I added this unit to an existing ASUS AC3100 in order to set up a mesh system in my home. It has worked very well so far and it completely eliminated the dead spots in my house. Now, I get an unwavering and full signal inside and outside my home.

I chose this router due to excellent reviews and my prior experience with Asus products. Also, Asus routers are well-regarded on smallnetbuilder - dot -com and 3rd party firmware by Merlin is available which provides tweaks and enhancement to the system.

My old router was failing on a regular basis. At the recommendation of a friend, I went with this router. It was easy to changeout and get up and running. It is not only faster, but it is handling all of our wired and wireless devices.

I have bought several Asus routers and they have always been easy to setup and use. They typically last about a year and 1/2 before they need to be replaced due to dropped signals. Other brands that i have tried last around a year. I also have learned to buy the protection plan because of this issue. I have about 20 devices running off this router and so far no issues.
