Setup was very easy. The router has a number of security features and provides great coverage throughout my home. I stream to 3 different televisions, with no stutter or freeze on the streams. Definitely recommend.

Bought this to replace a 7yo Belkin router. It inproved the wifi range in my home dramatically and the speed is great. Easy to set up and access when adjusting the settings. Compatible with Cox hugh speed Internet.

Wonderful, fast router with lots of config options. Set radio at lowest power setting and still reached everywhere in the house. Artificial intelligence security is a wonderful addition!

I bought this router during the holidays when I was in the market for a better Wi-Fi connection. I had the standard Xfinity Gateway Modem/Router combo, but in terms of Wi-Fi, it was not cutting it. I was thinking of a Modem/Router combo from Netgear, but I wanted to try something different. I know the Asus brand is very well known and I heard nothing but good things about this Router. I LOVE the app and how I can control virtually anything tied to the network especially, for my nephews electronics time consumption. The speeds are out of the park with multiple computers, phones, tablets and game systems on the network at the same time. Thanks Asus for building a solid product, because I almost bought the Apple Airport Extreme instead.

I bought this because my Spectrum router was weak and unreliable. I have a long house and pay for 400 mbps. The WiFi was only getting speeds of about 15 mbps in the far room, when the planets lined up and with a wired WiFi extender. This router was easy to set up and worked so much better than what I had. It even made the Linksys wireless extender work better than it was! I still need the extender, but the signal is over 150 mbps in the farthest room. I haven’t even logged into it to fully utilize the available features, except to change the name and password. I highly recommend this for houses that are long and as a replacement for ANY provider router!

I've been using Asus product for years and this router is not exception to that. It's easy to setup, lots of features, super fast, and covers a lot of sqft.

I had been looking for a gig router to avoid having to pay the "rent" fees that my internet provider charges. I had heard great things about several Asus routers, Google Wifi, Netgear, and Amped. The reason I decided on the Asus that I purchased was because of the features it had at the price I was looking for compared to other models. I live in a tri-level home and thought that maybe the router might not reach the further corners of the home. I was wrong. We have a 2700 square foot home and I get great coverage on both 2.4 and 5 bands. Recommend for a cheaper alternative to the more expesnive/flashier routers.

Got this router to replace an older system and it performed extremely well. Not only was I able to output a significantly improved amount of bandwidth, but the range was significantly better. The router is also very easy to set up, but I will say the antennae are quite finicky. The management of the router on the software side is also very fluid. I have used this device in 3 different homes to replace various systems over time and it has performed well on each occasion.

I frankly chose this router because the one in my original price range was not available. Even though the price double what I wanted to spend I'm glad I did. All reviews indicate the only negative is it's pricey. So far it works well and management is easy.

I had read a ton of reviews prior to purchasing this router in order to sift through the plethora of choices. This router consistently received great reviews from multiple tech sites. All of them are completely justified. I just upgraded my internet to 300MBv/30MB^ and my Airport Extreme wasn't cutting it. As Apple announced that they will discontinue their router business, I decided to opt for another manufacturer. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. The admin console is very easy to configure and offers a host of options not available on the AE. This is a solid choice for a home router.

Have had this for about 3 months. Speed and connectivity are good. Range is adequate and setup options are much better than my last router. Time will tell how reliable this unit is. Usually the first thing to go is the WiFi.

I tried a Belkin Router first; but, its Wi-Fi signal was very poor. I returned it and spent a hundred dollars more for this Asus Router and it was very easy to set up and has a very good Wi-Fi signal. It was worth spending more to get a quality Router.

After getting tired of my old router's consistent problems, I went to my local Best Buy to seek help from a CSR on a new router. He suggest this one, perfect for my 1800 sq ft house. I've had it a few months and I couldn't be happier. The three antennas allow me to get a perfect signal on the side of my house that is completely opposite of where the router is located. Changing settings, like adding a passcode and changing the SID, was easy and fast and thee are numerous other options you can change regarding how the router works, most out of my comfort to change.

Very Good, but does not play well with DirectTV(not sure why it needs it, i never use the TV anyway) or my old Asus Laptop, i haven't been able to connect the Direct TV yet(been trying for weeks), but i have high hopes of doing so in the future. and the laptop connects fine, but its a little spotty on whether it will stay connected to load a webpage, 1 out of every 3 pages i try to open fail now. all my new technology works beautifully with no errors at all, we have had upwards of 10 things on at once, 2 hard-line computers, 2 wireless computers, 4 phones, 1 hard-line PS4, 1 IPad.

Never drops connection. Paired up with Arris modem SB6183. Range is excellent. Web interface is intuitive, with frequent firmware updates. Can run Merlin firmware as well. Firmware and ASUS support was huge selling point. ASUS makes great routers.

Very happy with this router. Very strong reception. Easy to set up. Best Buy had no problem of me bringing a dual motom/router back and exchange for me getting a cheaper motom and this router. I can go out side or in the basement and it's great.

I live in a ranch style condo that only has one access point where I can place a router. Of course that is in an area furthest away from the devices that connect to it! At the furthest point from the router I still connect at 750+Mbps. The setup was relatively easy. The overall interface is a bit clunky in design but functional. I have had no technical problems, and while the interface is clunky I have been able to setup several different features that are available to the router. Very happy that I purchased this router.
