Great all-around router if on sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought AX88U because I can't stand for the random reboot from Netgear's RAX120v2, which is otherwise a fantastic router. I used to own AC86U, so I was hoping AX88U to be a familiar, stable and highly customizable router. It didn't disappoint. Unlike RAX120v2, this is a full Wi-Fi 6 certified router. I believe RAX120v2 lacks "Target Wake Time," so it isn't Wi-Fi 6 certified. Though I do want to point out that RAX120v2 offers much better throughput and noticeably lower latency on both wired and wireless connections. AX88U also lacks a 5G/2.5G LAN/WAN connector. These were in fact the reasons I bought RAX120v2, but it's simply too unstable to use. Imaging waiting minutes just for the router to reboot.

One of the best routers out there for the price.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This ASUS Wi-Fi 6 router is the best router I have ever owned. I have owned Netgear routers and Asus routers mostly, and it seems like Asus outdoes themselves each time they release a new iteration of their router that had the 8 ethernet ports. Most people won't need eight ethernet ports, but this one has them, and even better yet, you can configure two of them for link aggregation for your NAS if you like. The signal range and quality of wireless connection of this router is probably unmatched for that generation of routers. Very happy.

Awesome Router
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The switch from Netgear to Asus has been astounding. Asus has an incredible user interface for changing the settings on your router. I currently run two of these routers with one being an AiMesh router. I have seamless connection going from my house to my garage. Set up is super simple and user friendly. Drop your ISP garbage router with monthly fees and upgrade with Asus. I will be upgrading to another Asus router in the near future.

Asus for the WIN!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Asus products. This router is great. Having 8 ethernet ports is fantastic because I was able to hardwire all my TVs and computers. Wireless setup is a breeze as well, great signal strength and easy to use GUI.

||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love love, wouldn't change anything. Great for wireless router for VR and covers our whole 1200 square foot house. I love ASUS routers in general due to the firmware upgrades I can make with Merlin software.

Amazing choice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The setup interface takes a little adjustment from what I've grown used to, but, it really is a superb router. The beam forming more than doubles my range. Zero lagging This is the router I should have bought a long time ago.

Asus is reliable

Blast
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got this item to replace my old ASUS router. Didn't expect it doubled the speed of my wifi. I have an old dual band ASUS ROUTER. It is so easy to setup and didn't even have to call technician. I would highly recommend this.

Fantastic router
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic Wifi-6 Router. Despite having been very happy with many previous Asus routers, when it came time to upgrade to wifi-6 I first tried an all in one mesh system from another manufacturer, I was disappointed. Luckily I was able to return that item and I bought this AX6000 along with an Asus RT-AX86U to act as a satellite in an Asus AImesh setup. I am beyond happy. I spent about half as much as the Orbi and the performance is much better. Honestly this router is so good I probably didn't need the 2nd router to create the mesh setup but nobody ever complained about too much wifi coverage.

Great router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the RT AC 3100 and that was a good router but this is a great upgrade and now the 3100 is a node and the two of them work together. Great coverage and great performance.

Perfect Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from and older AC-68U which was working fine, but I needed more range on my 5GHz channel. This works perfect. I’ve got no more dropped devices from WiFi and added roughly 60ft on my band. Yeah this isn’t the most space saving router out there but it’s full of features and for me it future proofed my home network. Runs smooth and fast and super easy to setup. Overall from start to getting all my devices back online (we are a smart home so it’s quite a few) it took me about 40 minutes. Router setup itself was less than 5 minutes. Hopefully it continues to be a great purchase.

Great router to future proof for WiFi 6
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great wireless ranges with current devices even though not many are available for WiFi 6. However, Galaxy S10 archives great speeds with new WiFi speeds!

Mostly great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part, I've been happy with the router. The app is super easy to use and makes set up a breeze. We did have a lot of issues early on with our devices disconnecting from the wifi, even from within a few feet of it. All of our devices are new and compatible with the blazing fast wifi speed this router generates. This issue has mostly been resolved but there are still days and random times when the devices disconnect. It happens the most to Samsung devices. I'm on the fence about whether it was worth the money. Tentative yes recommending it, especially if you don't have a Samsung device.

wifi6 on 2.4ghz band isn't supported i don't think
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this thing is a beast, if you need a router with a lot of ports that's wifi6, not much beats this, wish it had wifi6 on 2.4ghz band though, i'm pretty sure it doesn't.
