Great router that has a ton of features and controls for those of you who want to tweak your wireless environment. I have a 3500 sqft single story house where this sits approximately in the center. This router can penetrate quite far even on the 5G band. My laptop is 3 rooms over on one end of the house and on the 5G wireless I get 275 mb/s download and 32 upload consistently. My COX plan is 300/30 so very happy to be able to kick their panoramic modem to the curb.

This is an awesome addition to my home. I have 2 Asus aimesh serip already. However still have weird. Dead spot at home. Somehow my home construction blocks and weaken signal. Adding this as 3rd device future proof. Do I have any device that need AX? No. WAN to LAN speed is quick. 948 up and down with my ATT giga fiber connection。 however you will need to update firmware. Asus does update their firmware to fix bugs. Unlike some other competitors, how rarely seem them putting any effort.

This router is fast! I know it will work great with AX devices. Runs everything I have flawlessly already!

Very fast speeds. I was getting consistent Speedtest results over 600 on a 600 megabits plan from Xfinity. I really wanted to keep this router but the range once you stepped outside was very disappointing. I tried moving it to a more central location in my house but again once I stepped outside, the connection would diminish. Being we spend a lot of time in our yard not having internet wasn’t an option.

Has good coverage for the house. Wanted to add to the home usage with a network drive

Like the 8 Ethernet ports and the design. Don’t like that there’s not a built-in power supply and it needs a power brick. The configuration is easy and plentiful in terms of options. However, I ended up returning the router because it just wasn’t as stable and required a few reboots in only a few weeks.
