I was hesitant about this AiMesh router, but after hooking it up and testing the WIFI speed....I was truly amaze. Whether it was WIFI or ethernet cable connection, the speedtest showed 100% consistent, no dips! Although I was data cap at 100Mbps, it pushed up to 120 Mbps and felt like it wanted to push even more! I also used the AiMesh Node feature (connecting 2 router wireless) and living in a 2 story home, all the devices connected to the network have FULL BARS! Just a side note, make sure to connect most devices to 5g-1 and not on 5g-2 (WIFI 6) as some devices connection don't behave well on that band, but my latest smart phone loves 5g-2 though!

Router seems fast, but complicate to setup and also unstable. I purchased this to replace my Netgear AC router because the Wifi drops once a while. Going with the two-pack allow me to setup Mesh for better distribution. However, the router was shipped as two primary router and did not have Mesh setup by default. Once setup as Mesh network, I'm getting router freeze once like 5 days. When it happens I have to power cycle both of the router to get them work again. The situation is worse than what I had with Netgear AC router. I paid a lot of money wanting Performance and Stability, but the router is huge disappointment not offering it despise the price.

It is easy to set up just following instructions if you have little to no experience setting up routers. It was a bit of work to add my previous compatible router to meshi network since I did not set it up before hand. YouTube was my friend for aetring it up though. So far have had no issues with it. WiFi speeds from node upstairs seem to be slower than main router downstairs but no issues with lag. I like setup and design of units and that I was able to add old router in to help coverage. They are pricey though.

I have the Xfinity service and the WiFi unit provided sucks lol so I got this to get rid of the dead spots. So what u know turned on bridge mode on the modem gateway and hooked this unit up and what u know it’s works great. No more dead spots and the ax WiFi is great on my iPad Pro and iPhone 11s too also make sure to got to setting to activate the WiFi ax if not it will use it to back hall the data. I have a Ethernet cable to have a solid connection between the units.

This is hands down the best router I have ever used! It solved the dead zone issue in my home which is the primary reason I was looking for a new router. I have a Comcast gigabit connection with 4 game systems & streaming devices going at any given time, there is no system slow down and minimal speed drop off due to signal. I have a semi connected home with 26 devices on the network at all times. I highly recommend this mesh system.

Great quality and fast internet. Only issue is the wifi 6 network available is reserved for mesh network link. So you are unable to have 1 SSID that supports legacy g,n,ac and ax. Ax is separated.

Excellent, excellent coverage. I can connect to the APs even a half a block away from my house! Struggled a little bit with the Ai Mesh feature to connect these access points with my main asus router, but generally I've had a smooth experience overall and connectivity had never been better or more stable. I understand this is tech on the cutting edge, but i did wish they were a little cheaper.

Little pricey but I do get what I paid for - great mesh router, very easy to set up but I already knew how to set it up anyways, good strong signal. The only thing I did not like was the way the antennas are they don't lock in place. I haven't tested if I collapse the antenna how much of a degrade on the wifi signal will it be. Overall it is a great mesh router.

Excellent AI Mesh for whole house coverage. I was looking for a setup that was simple and effective, I use a total of four of these along with the ROG Router to cover 5000 sq ft brick house along with several outbuildings where I have WiFi cameras installed.

So far I love this system. Bought it in a rage cause I was mad at my nighthawk. Set up was a breeze and streaming speeds seem to be better. Even casting my Oculus Quest 2 doesn't seem glitchy anymore. Love it.

This is the perfect upgrade if you are trying to get a better range from your route. The mesh system has worked amazingly delivering a stable internet connection across my home and has the added benefits of being the improved wifi 6 standard.

AiMesh is awesome. And easy to setup, this product comes with 2 routers but if needed you can add more. The Aimesh connects them both ether by using the 2nd 5ghz network or by using a network cable. The different bands can be combined to have one seem less smart network

Provides good coverage and good speed throughout the house. If you have a Wifi 6 capable device the speed increase is very noticeable....double what I was getting on Wifi 5.

Bought this 2 pack to combine with my GT-AX1100 router to form an AI Mesh network in my home. Im no IT guy and it was super easy to setup using the Asus router app on my phone. Now I have a strong and fast WiFi 6 network on all 3 floors of my home. The network is seamless and they use the same network names that I already had.

The units are compact and look futuristic. I struggle to get them to provide good 2.4 ghz signals. Apparently, it is a universal issue of an ASUS router. Since I already had another ASUS router... I want to create a mesh....it works only well with 5ghz enable device. Kinda frustrated but with the future direction of WiFi 6, I will test this one out and se if it is worth the hype of ASUS router reputation.

Now once in a while it doesnt work, i have to reset the whole router for a quick fix, and I dont have the time to do that every other week
