As a Chromebook, it works as it should. A little slow but good enough for simple work.

I've been playing around with this laptop for a little while and it's been great. I got this for one of my younger kids to teach them computers and it's been perfect. The build is solid and feels sturdy. It's not the sleekest laptop these days but I like that it seems like it will hold up well to someone not being careful with it all the time. The screen is nice and bright and clear. The colors render well and the resolution is fine for the size of the screen. The processing power is perfect to run ChromeOS. If it were windows I'm sure it would run slow but it's plenty fast for doing light gaming and more than enough for everything else. And for this price it's much more than i expected. The battery life is great. It should last all day if you're not running a lot of background apps. And it's plenty to watch a few movies if you're traveling. I also really like that it charges through the USB-C. I have Power Delivery chargers and battery banks all over the house and cars so I have no worry of being able to charge this laptop anywhere. It also only comes stock with a 45W charger so it's very easy to even find car chargers that will run this laptop. I was able to test the external screen outputs and after a couple plugs/unplugs I was able to get 2 external monitors in extended mode with the laptop screen also. So this laptop can run a total of 3 screens. The caveats are the USB-C seems to only be able to carry 1 display and the second external display needs to be plugged into the HDMI, I'm not sure if it could work with a docking station with 2 displays, i was trying to use the USB-C piggyback. The other big caveat of using the USB-C plug as the display port is you cannot charge the laptop then. So I'd recommend getting a docking station if you want to run multiple monitors. But in the end the laptop will support 3 separate screens. Overall I'm very pleased with this laptop, and when I remember how much I paid for it it's even better. I also believe it went on sale last week for even cheaper which would be a deal that's just to good to pass up if you want a good functional laptop that can do basically everything you'd like it to do.

From the moment I unboxed the ASUS CX14 Chromebook, I was impressed with its attention to detail. It arrived securely wrapped in generous layers of bubble wrap—an unexpected bonus since I reuse bubble wrap when shipping my artwork. The exterior has a sleek finish that resists fingerprints, keeping it looking clean and professional. Typing on the keyboard is a pleasant experience; it’s quiet and comfortable, making long writing sessions effortless. The 14-inch size is perfect for portability—it’s lightweight and easy to carry, whether for note-taking or quick searches on the go. The screen delivers sharp visuals, offering a clear and spacious display that enhances both work and entertainment. As a Google Chromebook, this device integrates seamlessly with my Google account, eliminating the need for virus protection software and keeping all apps accessible through the Google Play Store. Syncing across multiple devices is a plus, ensuring a smooth workflow wherever I am. A standout feature is the inclusion of AI—Gemini—conveniently located on the app shelf at the bottom of the screen. The new keyboard shortcuts, including the “G” key for searches and “Caps+G” for inserting links, emojis, and more, streamline tasks, making app navigation faster than ever. I find myself using the "G" key often to locate or open apps. One aspect of the technology surprised me—it automatically connected to my phone. While that felt a little unsettling at first, it was easy enough to disconnect if desired. I was pleasantly surprised at the processing speed and responsiveness of the apps. Battery performance is solid, charging up quickly and lasting a full day, which is ideal for everyday use. If there’s one minor drawback, it would be the camera cover slider—it’s quite small and a bit tricky to maneuver. The camera itself isn’t the clearest, but since I rarely use a laptop camera, it’s not a major concern. Overall, the ASUS CX14 Chromebook is a well-built, has reliable performance, and is very portable - a practical device for my everyday use, whether at home or on the go.

Smaller than I thought, but it is a sleek model. I enjoyed setting it up,, I have yet to apply the webroot security program yet.

I love my Chromebook. I use it for all my Zoom meetings and to access my email. I was very happy with the price also.

Solid Chromebook for students but unfortunately was good for my needs. The screen feels a little wash out in terms of color

the set up in low and cannot do much meaningful work. But it is still a decent machine for daily use.

Decent budget Chromebook for light tasks like browsing and note-taking. However, performance felt limited and build quality didn’t meet my expectations, which is why I ended up returning it.

Good computer had no issues yet like the privacy of the camera

Decent laptop for browsing the internet. Not compatible with Microsoft office apps and Best Buy employees sold the software with the laptop without warning about this.

Its okay. I wouldn't recommend for college, but I think its perfect for highschool. It has a decent storage and other things. At times it is a little laggy and takes a while to start. The camera is okay, nothing crazy. Overall its okay.

I found it difficult to get my new keyboard to connect with the Chromebook. And this was more expensive than I expected.

ASUS - CX14 14" FHD Chromebook Laptop - Intel Celeron - 4GB Memory - 64GB eMMC - Misty Grey, Where to begin, I love the anti-glare screen, I don’t like that the keyboard is not backlit being that I have a bad habit of working in the dark. I really like the size perfect for travel, I can now leave my bigger screen laptop at home. It is not touchscreen but I realize I never really use it in my other laptop anyway but just putting it out there in case anyone wanted to know. It’s nice lightweight so no added weight to my backpack. It has two usb ports, and has on usb-c charging port, traditional headset jack but you can connect a headset/earbuds via Bluetooth works amazingly well, it also comes with google assistant android apps, front facing camera and full HD 1920x1080, the color is amazing and sharp for a cheaper priced laptop I’m very impressed with how amazing and simple it is to use set up was fast the normal set up with email etc. Chrome operating system I personally think chrome is always a better choice and a faster system in my experiences, it starts up pretty fast unlike some others that you have to wait what seems like forever to start. The battery life is long I normally work about 1-2 hours at a time and I charged it twice in one week and still have 40% when I charged it the second time. The volume of the speaker is clear and loud not to low like some. Definitely happy with this laptop.
