Best router of all time. I absolutely love it and would recommend.

So far so good. Don’t know much about routers but it does the job for all of our devices. TVs, phones, streaming services seem to all work well.

Upgraded from an older Asus router that was starting to give me problems. This thing covers my full house which is around 3600 sq foot. Getting solid connection all day long. Have it set to reboot every morning at 4AM. I have yet to have a connection drop of any kind. I'm easily getting the advertised speeds with it. I have a gigabit connection with mediacom. The GUI was easy to navigate.

Solid performer! First time using ASUS networking gear. Great speeds, solid connectivity. Paired with an RT-AX56U for mesh extension to the other end of the house. Very nice web interface & mobile app for net management. Flexible options for traffic management, parental controls, NAS setups. Vastly superior to the flaky Google wifi system it replaced. Overall very satisfied, would recommend & purchase again.

First, I’m not a tech geek or guru. I knew I needed a much better modem than what I had for the switch to fiber. This one and one other from ASUS came highly recommended. After reading some industry articles on them, I bought this one. Seems like it’s wicked fast and provides a strong signal throughout our 4,100sqft house.

By far the fastest router we have ever had but we are even more impressed with the range. We have a big house and plaster walls and the coverage is amazing compared to our older Archer model. I had to use both an access point and range extenders on our old router to get coverage throughout. None of that is necessary anymore - range is excellent and speed is great even in the furthest bedrooms away.

This router is very easy to set up. It has great speed and coverage as well.

I have had this for 2 weeks after upgrading to gig fiber internet. Coming from a netgear R7000 that I had 6 years. This router has been great so far. Set up with app in 10min. Range is good and handles a house of 4 people and 30 devices with ease! Solid upgrade. Hope it lasts as long as the R7000 did.

I looked up a lot of reviews before I bought this product and they weren't lying definitely a great router with many features it has very good range and good speeds with Wi-Fi 6 I also used it as a gaming router and as my media centerpiece to send ethernet and Wi-Fi through my house been a superb product

A significant improvement over my previous combined router-modem device. (I am using the "free" cable modem with this router.). Wireless speed increased from 100 - 400 Mbps. (The previous device was rated for 400 +.) Much better range and signal strength as well. Easy to install and setup.

Bought this over the nighthawk router after being recommended it by a friend, and it has not disappointed. Setup was easy with their app and I've had no issues with it at all. Look forward to adding some of the extenders it works with to create a mesh system! This also sits on a shelf better than the nighthawk due to its upright position.

Awesome router and easy setup. Replaced netgear r7000 which was acting up and became unusable after 4 years. The Asus is getting me double the speed and closer to the gigabit speed I have with Comcast.

I'm very impressed by this router. I had a Netgear R7000 router for almost 7 years and it started acting up and had to keep restarting it almost daily, I was thinking of sticking with the same brand but I'm glad I went with Asus. My speeds went from around 120mbps to 460mbps on my 400mbps connection. It covers my whole house without a big compromise on speed.

Asus AX86u is one of the 5 best routers on the market (the best for under $300)! Very stable, easy to setup, and very powerful. Remember to install latest MerlinWRT firmware for more settings and features.

Upgraded from our trusty but ailing Netgear Nighthawk. Very pleased with ease of install and performance. The WiFi 6 and 2GBPS Wan connection were very pleasant surprises (Didn't know my cable modem could do 2GBPS, and didn't know my phone did WiFi 6!) Very pleased with admin options - webpage and app - both allow for full control of the router.
