This Asus router is top quality and for its price as compared to other in that range, it far exceeds their range and performance. It's easy to set up and works with every device I own.

Owing to the layout of my apartment I have always struggled to get good wifi coverage in all rooms. I would have a drop of 95% from my living room to the master bedroom making browsing from my cellphone almost impossible without using data from my phone plan. NOT ANYMORE! My average of 60 Mbps at the modem is still 55-60 Mbps even in the farthest point of the apartment. This is the best improvement in my home network for the money. Need a dual band router? Buy this, no hesitation.

This router is fast, highly customizable with multiple 3rd party firmwares but still is $130. The 5GHz band still seems to be quirky, sometimes systems lose the connection or it drops down to 60Mbps and stays there until the system or router is rebooted. With the very latest shibby tomato firmware, this has improved a lot and happens a lot less for me. YMMV. I believe this is a firmware issue, so I will stick it out as it happens only occasionally now (once or twice every couple weeks).

My old router wasn't strong enough to send a signal upstairs, so I bought this one hoping that the external antennae would help with the signal. Now I can easily play Netflix on my smart tv without a problem or any buffering. :) It was not easy to set up, but I am NOT very tech savvy. Once I figured it out, though, the rest went smoothly and I am 100% satisfied with the product.

Not much to say other than the signal is strong even when placed in the second floor. The setup was simple. The speeds are really impressive. You wont regret the purchase of this device. You may want to check online first, best buy seems to have higher prices.

I enjoy the faster speeds and simple setup. Great range for WiFi and keeps a good speed no matter the distance.

I am an IT consultant and have used Linksys and Netgear for a long time. I was looking for something with a little more configuration options at a good price point. I am now using this router exclusively for my small office router installs. It has good range on the wireless and great configuration options for advanced users. I have set it up with a vpn for a customer that needed a “temporary” fix that has now lasted almost a full year without any problems.

I moved into an apartment that had internet and a wireless modem included in the lease. I was getting extremely abysmal internet speeds and my internal network speed was definitely less than acceptable. I purchased this router due to its price point and positive reviews and could not be more pleased. My internet speeds went from 1.2 mbps to 20 mbps strictly by switching this out. I would highly recommend the purchase of this router.

This router is easy to set up and monitor via a webpage, has a strong signal and can be used by multiple connections without speed limitations ( have tested 7 gadgets at the same time all downloading stuff or playing online videos/games without a problem). What I like most is that the speed delivered through direct connection via Ethernet cable and via WiFi is the same! I withheld the fifth star because I feel that it is overpriced. Overall, I like it after testing others and returning them due to their unworthy performance vs price.

The router works great. Its range is further than my previous one and install process was easy.

Bought this router because my old router was being blamed for my bad cable service. I looked for the best router so I could confidently tell the technicians that the problem could not be my router. My theory worked. The techs always compliment my router when they come in to fix the cable. Best part...it works all over the house plus it has a great user interface so I can keep track of my kids internet usage.
