Customers are enthusiastic about the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070’s performance, power efficiency, and effective cooling system, frequently citing its ability to run games smoothly at high settings with low temperatures. Many appreciate the card's compact size and the inclusion of 12GB of VRAM. However, some customers express concern over the relatively high price point and the potential for coil whine in some units.

Upgraded from a 2060 super and can definitely see the difference. It can play all my games on ultra settings on a 1440p 165 hertz monitor without reaching 65 degrees Celsius. Highly recommend!

I think this is the best overall video card at present. It combines really good performance without introducing power or heat problems. It is also very quiet. In summary, ASUS made good compromises in designing this card.

Upgraded from a 1070. Wow! What a difference. High frame rates (100+) in any AAA game ive tried. Cooler is quiet and keeps the card under 50C

I bought this card because i had endless troubles with my AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT that i eventually returned because i was troubleshooting my computer more than playing on it. This card has been rock solid and excellent! Incredible performance in all of the games I play (mostly indie and minecraft with shaders) and totally silent inside my high-airflow case. I highly recommend this card if you want your computer to just play a game when you ask it to. My only complaint is that best buy was not selling the white variant of this card to go with my white-themed desktop! Either way, the default color scheme still has a nice look to it.

It's a 4070. Pretty much does exactly what the other 4070s all do. Overclock doesn't add up to much, it never does.
Pros:
- Uses a regular 8pin power connector, as it should. Shame on other connectors.
- Fans make only a whooshing noise, no bearing noise or electronic noise.
Cons:
- Far larger than it needs to be. A 4070 does not make much heat. This cooling system is overkill.
- Asus DUAL used to mean smaller. This is in fact larger than the founders edition.

I was told that there wasn't much of an upgrade if coming from an RTX 3070 but I honestly didn't think it was a bad idea to spend $100 after selling the RTX 3070 to keep up with the times. It's pretty good at 1440p gaming and ray tracing becomes viable at this card.
As of writing this, the RTX 4060 might be the better choice overall for price point performance.

Upgraded from a 1060 and slapped this guy into the pc I built over 7 years ago—it’s been working great. I can run Diablo 4 at ultra 4k at 60+ fps. Haven’t tested it on anything else other than Stable Diffusion, which also performs great. I look forward to pairing the card with a brand new pc build sometime down the line, and expect it’ll last me quite some time.

Works as expected. I did not run any tests but it feels like it is 2.5x faster than my old gtx1080. I doesn't make any audable nouse compared to the cpu coolers and I cannot hear any coil whine. Overall I am happy. This GPU rocks for the price it costs.

Works as designed , Performance is equivalent to expected numbers . Depending on what you are using it for it is faster than the 3070 it replaced. Oh, the 3070 is still in use , just needed a boost on a couple of rendering programs

This card has been awesome and more than enough and some say to get the ti version for my 7800x3d but I don’t see that much of a difference 200 more for 10 more frames meh…. But the best GPU for a reasonable price.

Works like a charm. I play on a LG 4K OLED tv. No issues so far. Improves even old games like w Effect. Games seem to use 170-190 watts, browser around 40. Bigger and bulkier. Dell XPS 8940 Windows 11
