A lot of handheld cases for the switch don’t seem to let you bring your power adapter and this one is no different, so be prepared to lower your settings or carry the power brick in another bag. I think the intent is to protect your device in a larger bag, and not as a hand carry on its own.

It also has thumbstick holes to help protect the thumbsticks from being damaged. I love the weight and design of the case as well. Definitely recommend to a friend or customer who is looking at this item.

Seems to repel dirt and water decently. Wish it had some sort of handle on it, i ended up buying one and clipped it on a tab on the case. Its not a hard shell case but does seem like it protect the Ally if it fell. I also really like the ROG logo on the sides and front of the case. I do think its well made though i do feel like its a bit over prixee.

The case has notches for the joy sticks to fit in so traveling doesn't add wear and tear to said joysticks. Soft material on the inside prevents scratches. That being said, I'd give this case 10/10.

I wish it had space for the included ROG charger. The overall quality is good, it's soft and padded on the inside and on the outside it has a water resistant material and a strong zipper.

I would have liked two zipper tags instead of one. It feels a lot more robust once the Ally is actually inside of it, but honestly for $40 it's a bit disappointing. Especially when you consider the Steam Deck includes a superior case by default. If this were a hardshell design like the Steam Deck's case, I could see the cost being far more justified.

With that said, it’s definitely well made and fits the Ally like a glove. If it had a charger and cable storage pocket, then 40 would be reasonable. If your looking for a well made case that keeps the ROG theme, this is it….just wait for a sale…

I think its the best hands down. The only downside is the battery life, which you you can purchase kits for, and the micro sd card overheating issue. I upgraded the hard drive to 2 TB and reinstalled the OS so I have no use for the external micro sd card. I rate it a 9/10.

For the Ally X, it’s a tight fit so just be cautious. I don’t think it’ll damage anything on the device but it’s definitely worth noting.

Fits well, with indents inside for the joysticks to avoid unnecessary wear. The small slots inside are great for carrying extra SD cards or small cables.

You won't be able to put the charger in with it or any other add ons you might collect for the ally. The case is rather soft as well so care how you pack it with other items

Nothing beats from the makers of the device. IF you want protection from accidents or even worse destruction I'd advise of getting this dope case. Meets higher expectations than the pictures show off.

Definitely not of the quality that comes with the Steam Deck, which is harder than this one. Also very simple. No room to fit anything else in there. It's nice to have to keep inside when you aren't using it, but for travel, I would recommend something sturdier.
