It’s fine for casual home storage but I definitely wouldn’t throw it into your backpack or use it for everyday carry

It offers little protection, no space for any accessories, and the kickstand feature it touts is unusable. Save your money and pick something else.

The case was designed with a soft case material and a fleece inner liner, the Ally will be protected in any bag or backpack. Water-repellent PU fabric keeps your machine safe from any accidental spills and inclement weather, while the whole case stays secure with an ROG emblazoned YKK zipper. A soft fleece inner liner keeps the screen protected and scratch-free.

I guess it would keep the Rog Ally from getting scratched if its worth that to you.
