Great monitor. Color accuracy way the main reason I purchased this unit. Good value for the cost.

These monitors are not all made the same. I bought two of these a year apart. The first one I got which I am writing a review about turned out to be a complete lemon that ASUS won't do anything about. They claim they "couldn't replicate the issue". I sent it in twice. The monitor got worse the first time I sent it in after they "replaced the display, main board, and keypad". I had to reach out and ask them what they did, they thought they could just shipped it back without a word. When I bought the first unit three years ago I was pretty happy with it because I had just the one monitor. Once I got this second unit a year after, I noticed how neutral and bright the first monitor was supposed to be. Side by side, the first monitor I bought is much warmer. The whites look more yellowed compared to the second newer monitor. The first monitor is also just darker. Both monitors are set to sRGB mode and the color accuracy is suppose to be ΔE < 2. They both came with a calibration sheet, and the numbers on paper say their supposed to be almost identical to each other. Yet they aren't at all. "When ΔE < 2, it means that the color difference is very small and generally imperceptible to the average human eye." However it is very perceptible. If you buy just one monitor, you're going to think you're getting a great product, until you buy a second unit and you realize how inconsistent and garbage ASUS is. I wouldn't even recommend buying this monitor if you don't buy them in pairs or if you lack any calibration tools. Imagine buying an extra unit years later and realizing your first one is garbage and now you're stuck with two different colored monitors. How is this consistent for PROfessional ARTists? Imagine trusting ASUS calibration claims and perceiving your colors wrong for years. Also, the firmware update process is embarrassingly poor. This is supposed to be their ProArt line.

A truly great monitor for color accurate workflows

Fantastic display! For the price I would've preferred a more premium stand though.

It's an amazing monitor in terms of visuals, but the big reason why I bought this monitor was because of its USB-C connection so I could run both the display connection and the charging line at the same time through the USB-C cord from my Macbook into the monitor. Lo and behold it detects my Macbook about 25% of the time. Tried dozens of restarts/sleeps etc with my Macbook USB-C cord and ASUS' supplied cord. I wish I could return this darn thing by this point but the time has passed. So I had to buy a $100 HyperDrive DUO 7 port in the hopes that I can put the latest ASUS update on a USB drive (also have to buy) in an attempt to update this freaking thing. For now I just gave up and used the DUO 7 port with my Macbook to use an HDMI connection, so my macbook is forever stuck with this tumor of cords on it instead of my original intention. For $500+ I would've expected something that actually works and am NEVER buying ASUS again.

This is a good monitor for content creators but it comes with a steep price tag.

is great monitor but the display port is not working so I had to buy an HDMI , I went to Best Buy to buy other display port cause in the box of Asus the cord was broken but they wanted me to bring the whole screen , now I will go the whole screen to see if they can resolve my concern, besides that is perfect screen for productivity streaming ect.

Learned that I received a used item instead of new. The firmware had to be updated via a Windows PC in order to use the monitor with my Mac. The monitor doesn't play nice with multiple inputs (even though it's designed to be used with multiple input sources). I tried giving the monitor a chance and monitored the Asus website for firmware updates, but this seems to be it. This is the monitor that they designed and produced. This has got to be the worst monitor I've ever owned and has proven to be detrimental to my workflow when I'm spending work hours trying to get the monitor to work.

No far so good. No set up issues and color seems fine. I have only had for a few weeks but I would recommend for anyone working with Photoshop/imagery.

Love the monitor. Perfect tool for use with my MacBook pro. Had to upgrade firmware to make it work with Mac chip computer but that was relatively straightforward and once done the monitor is seamless and a pleasure to use.

I was concern about this monitor with many of the reviews, on Best Buy and Amazon, mentioning a lot of light bleed and bad color calibration. But as for as i can tell, this monitor is great. Navigating the menu can be a little annoying but it's not something most would have to do often so it's not a deal breaker.

It has a lot of potential, although I still need to use more applications to be able to see how much 4k resolution it has.

So far this monitor has lived up to expectations. Excellent video and easy set up.

The ASUS monitor works as expected. I use it for photo editing with my laptop (MacBook Pro M1). After I figured out the settings (takes a little time) I have accurate mirroring from my MBP, which was my goal.

The display I received has a few patches of bright pixels around the center of the display and is very distracting when viewing blacks. The documents that come with the display claim that it’s been checked and even certified individually. Its clearly not true if an issue like this can slip by so easily. The colors are decent and pairs well via Thunderbolt on my M1 iMac. Would’ve been good for the price if the panel I received didn’t have issues.

I love this monitor. I am using it for coding and my eyes feel good. Zero problems. I would probably buy one more for second display.

It's a little pricey, but very easy to put everything together! The screen is very bright. It's perfect for daily work and entertaining

Got it for my daughter she loves it!!...uses it all the time
