    Major issues with sleep

    I've been through 2 PX13 laptops and both have a major issue with sleep and hibernate. The first one would crash and shut down any time the screen was turned off (timeout or sleep). I returned it for another and everything was fine for about a day until the second one started doing the same thing. Reviewing the logs, there is a critical error that causes the system to shutdown every time the computer enters sleep. After browsing online this seems to be a recurring and large issue. All updates were done, I had the latest bios, latest drivers of all types, and still the issue keeps coming up. Some workarounds exist that require you to disable sleep and just hibernate every time, however this is unacceptable for a $1500-2000 laptop. Very poor driver/bios QC by ASUS. I travel multi weeks a month for work and wanted something that could keep up with my CAD hobbies and video hobbies on the road. Unfortunately, this is not the laptop since it cannot reliably sleep and I don't want to lose all of my work every time I need to close theid and catch a flight. Will be returning the second one as well and moving on to a different brand.

    I love the computer in general, but ive had an issue where it doesnt come out of hibernation mode. Not sure if thats common, but its annoying if i dont save things before it goes into hibernation.

    Specs on this laptop are great, except whenever i was trying to use a stylus the palm rejection just did not seem to work properly. As someone wanting to use this main for graphic programs, the lack of properly working palm rejection when using a stylus was frustrating.

    I bought this for my wife to use for graphic design and she absolutely loves it. It’s light and fast and does everything she needs it to do, and she barely ever has to charge it.

    Ended up returning it. 60 HZ display was a major disappointment, 6 GB would be Ram wasn't sufficient, battery life was mediocre, and there were serious issues with the laptop randomly becoming unresponsive when put into sleep mode.

    I really wanted to love this machine. On the surface it has everything anyone could want. One small issue though... it crashes when left alone. That's right, in 2025 we still have computers crashing. Nuts. Event viewer says "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." and "The previous system shutdown at [time and date] was unexpected." I tried to contact Asus support.. but the chat bot doesn't ever load, if you can even find it. Seriously, go try and find actual support on their support site non-existent... Sure, there's lots of "self help" as in, they want you to support yourself. Buyer be ware.

    The product is fine but the online order process was horrible. I received an iPad instead of a laptop and was instructed via customer support chat to trade it in at the Alpharetta best buy store. When I arrived at the store one employee said I had to call customer support instead of using chat function and that they couldn’t trade it in. I called customer support who said to go to another Best Buy to pickup the laptop and to mail the iPad back to distribution center and not to leave it at the store. I tried getting the iPad back from another employee who took it upon me entering the store but he would not return it stating it was for another customer even though he saw me walk in with it and that I explained it was delivered to me my mistake. Finally I got the iPad back so I could mail it and drove to another Best Buy whereupon they picked the laptop from inventory, however when I went to front checkout they received an e-mail saying to hold the order. I got an email then asking for pictures of iPad box and that it would take up to 48 hrs to investigate. I called customer support again explaining that I was leaving out of town the next day and could not wait since this was a Christmas gift. Customer support on the phone resolved the issue and I picked up the laptop right before store closing. I understand it was around Christmas time but I had ordered this at the end of November and to have to waste 7 hours to fix someone else’s mistake while issue after issue popped up to hinder my efforts was extremely frustrating. The only bright spot in the process was the phone customer support which both times were very helpful despite me having to wait over 30 minutes each time to talk to someone. I will never order anything online from best buy again given this experience.

    Best Buy sold me a non working laptop

    Best Buy sold me a laptop that didnt have to monitor touch sensor working. The laptop didnt come with a stylus and I had to buy one. When i finally got the pen i was 3 days over the "14 day" return limit. I called for just instore credit but thet made me eat the laptop because i wasnt able to identify a broken part. It's terrible Geek Squad refurbished. Broke stillThey don't have a policy on that they can sell you broke items and stabd proud.
