Amazing device, great study build quality. Beautiful industrial design. It has some kind of textured coating on it that feels great.. like smoothed stone. It is handsomely black - not dark midnight space metallic gray - but true matte black. Beautiful screen, but not for high refresh rate gaming (get the G14 for that). Smallest PC with NVidia dGPU.
Battery life could use some tuning, but maybe the small chassis makes it expend more energy fans to perform cooling? Has a pretty high idle wattage even when set to only use integrate GPU (890M). At this size, battery life seems crucial to portability, but if you ever need the 4050, you can say goodbye to battery life, but for those use cases, I don't think they would care. I guess it's more like a very portable creator workstation. Not sure why it needs to be a 2 in 1 with no pen, but glad it's an option. Keyboard and touchpad are already really good with deep 1.7 mm travel, but initial activation feels just slightly mushy compared to Thinkpad/Lenovo keyboards. Touchpad wheel feels gimmicky, and the software backing it is a bit laggy.
I'm on the fence about keeping this or the Thinkpad T14s snapdragon.

I was a Dell XPS user for many years, but I was unhappy with some of the recent design changes they made and started looking elsewhere. I came across this laptop and was immediately impressed. I figured there had to be a catch, due to the fact that this laptop costs several hundred dollars less than a top-of-the-line XPS and is more powerful. So far, I haven't found any catches.
This laptop has been a joy to use. The build quality overall is superb. It's a sleek laptop and looks great in black. I especially love the keyboard, it is absolutely lovely to type on. The screen is also beautiful. Do I wish it was 144hz? Maybe. But I wouldn't make that a reason not to get it. Not to mention the specs. This is a powerful machine. It's run everything I've thrown at it, whether it's Adobe Photoshop or GTA V. No complaints there. I also personally love the size, as I'm not a fan of 15-inch laptops. It only weighs about 3 pounds, not much heavier than an XPS. You'll be hard-pressed to find another 13-inch laptop with comparable specs.
The only negatives I've had have been software-related. This ships with Windows 11, and I've had a couple issues that I think stems from that. I had an issue with the screen flickering which I was able to determine was not a physical issue with the laptop, but software. I had another issue where anytime I plugged my laptop in, the HDR settings would change. Again, it was a Windows issue. There are also various ASUS software that can be used to further customize your experience, but there's so many different apps it can be hard to determine what you actually need.
If you're looking for a small but powerful laptop, I'd highly recommend this one. It's been nothing but great to use (assuming Windows wants to work).

The ASUS ProArt PX13 is a powerhouse in a small package. The 3K OLED touchscreen is absolutely stunning, the colors are incredibly accurate, and the RTX 4050 handles everything from video editing to AI tools with ease. The Ryzen AI 9 is fast and smooth, and the 32GB of RAM keeps my multitasking running without slowing down. This is easily the best portable creative laptop I’ve owned—perfect for music production, video work, and everyday use. Worth every penny.
⭐⭐ MEDIUM REVIEW (Balanced, professional, and helpful for shoppers)
★★★★★ Excellent – A Creator’s Dream Laptop
I bought the ASUS ProArt PX13 as my main mobile workstation for music production, digital art, and AI tools, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The 3K OLED touchscreen is incredibly sharp with beautiful contrast, and the color accuracy is perfect for creative work. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and RTX 4050 GPU give this small laptop serious power—Studio One, Premiere, Photoshop, and AI workflows all run smoothly.
What surprised me most is how cool and quiet it stays, even during heavy sessions. The 32GB of RAM makes multitasking effortless, and the 1TB SSD is super fast. Build quality is excellent, and the 360° hinge gives me flexibility to use it like a tablet for sketching or touch navigation.
If you’re a creator who needs portability without giving up performance, this is one of the best laptops you can buy right now.

This little laptop gives most large laptops a run for their money. This little laptop can perform just about any task any other laptop can perform and has terrific battery life and portability. The performance is top notch, even under load the fan noise and heat is manageable. Only complaints I have is that the refresh rate is only 60hz and the peak brightness is a little sub par (looks amazing in indoor lighting). Trackpad feels nice, scroll wheel thing is kind of a novelty, but I could see some people using it. The touchscreen is very responsive and works with MPP pens (Microsoft Surface pens).

I was looking for a small laptop with a touchscreen and NVIDIA GPU. That combination is nearly impossible to find for anything under 15 1/2". This laptop is light, fast, and versatile (touchscreen) with exceptional graphics. The only downside I see is that it doesn't charge with a USB-C...probably due to the 200W power supply requirement.

Amazing build quality that also looks incredible.
The performance it offers for the form factor is quiet awesome.
The heat vents all around this ensured the laptop ran cool. Good heat management. I mostly kept it in whisper mode with discrete graphics turned off.
Battery life was Ok realistically, It required high brightness and even at setting all to dark theme got around 4 to 5 hrs. But on the plus side, it would charge really really quick, I've never seen anything charge this fast, around an hour for full charge.
Purchased it use for some coding and web browsing use. It works good for web browsing esp. watching HDR content is breathtaking. However, for coding, the screen size is bit too small, and increasing to 175% font size seems fewer lines visible. Screen glare was pretty bad and annoying when its in even in mild to moderate lighting conditions.
I believe that the laptop who this was intended for i.e. content creators would be really happy with this - It packs the performance and a stunning screen. Additionally regular web browisng, MS office users should also appreciate this esp. 2 in 1 features. Won't recommend for someone that wants to use for code or software development though.

I did a ton of research about laptops in this class before my purchase. I wanted something in a 13" form factor, with 32GB of RAM, a fantastic screen, good build quality, and solid battery life.
From the online reviews, this laptop seemed to check all the boxes, so I made the plunge (taking advantage of a sale price at Best Buy).
And I can happily report that what I'm reading in the reviews is all true!
Build quality is great. Love the finish of the laptop. Really looks premium and seems to resist fingerprints somewhat.
Keyboard is satisfactory/good, but not the best I've used. Not bad by any measure, just not the best. Backlighting is great, with very little bleed under the keys.
Trackpad is big and responsive. Haven't used the scroll wheel at all. Not really appealing to me.
Screen is fantastic. No observable screen door effect. Bright. Great colour.
Upon firing-up the laptop for the first time, it went through a series of Win11 updates and the proprietary ASUS app did the trick to update drivers and the BIOS. Very easy. Nice to get things current for all the features/devices without having to hunt around on the web.
The laptop feels quite snappy with the 32GB of ram and solid AMD processor. 1TB SSD is plenty big for my needs.
My only complaint thus far is the AC power brick. It's CHONK. I know the laptop requires a 200W PSU to power the CPU/GPU (love the discrete GPU in a 13" laptop), but it significantly increases the carry weight of the laptop when traveling. But I can't think of any way to get around that as PD on the USB-C ports only goes to 100W.
Anyways, I love the laptop so far and will report back with more findings as appropriate!

Excellent Laptop – Perfect Balance of Performance and Comfort
I’ve been using this laptop for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way.
It’s fast, responsive, and handles multitasking with ease — multiple browser tabs, Photoshop, streaming, and music all running smoothly without any lag.
The keyboard is a joy to type on — soft key travel, no rattling, and very comfortable for long sessions. The screen is bright, crisp, and has great color accuracy — perfect for both work and entertainment.
Build quality is solid, the design is sleek, and nothing feels cheap or flimsy. Battery life is impressive — it easily lasts a full workday without needing a charge.
Another big plus: the cooling system is quiet and efficient, even under heavy use.
Overall, a great value for the price. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and powerful everyday laptop.

Yes, the screen is stunning. Yes the performance is very good, for the most part. But there are some shortcomings. For whatever reason YouTube stops and stutters on this device while all the other devices in my home have no problem. Then there is the bloatware. 100GB worth. They tied up 1/10th of my precious SSD space with bloatware. Not at all happy about that. Too many disappointments for the high price paid.

After some debating I purchased this laptop two months ago. I travel and am in hotels 2-3 nights a week, so I wanted something lightweight enough to haul with me, but strong enough to game with. This thing does exactly that. It's small and light enough to sit with it in bed or on the sofa for a movie or light gaming, but strong enough for more demanding games as well. While it runs slightly hot, I'd love to see something this thin and light run a modern game and not break 65C. Any complaints about this thing are people comparing apples to oranges. You're getting a 2-in-1 that's less than 1 inch thick, barely 3lbs, but with the RAM and graphics card of a gaming laptop. In my opinion, it's the best of every world.

Where to begin - first off, I primarily use my laptop for BIM modeling and CAD work, as well as some programming on the side, and this laptop is a beast. The CPU is fast, the screen is vivid with color, the GPU comes in handy eith the CAD work, 32GB of RAM ensures it can handle my workload, and the build quality is what you expect for a professional laptop — it’s a compelling package if you’re looking for a 13.3-inch laptop.

TLDR; this laptop is impressive. Got this as my travel laptop, which is way overkill I know. I could have went with a much less loaded laptop for that, but given the light weight and the USB C charging capability (so I don't have to lug the power brick with me), works perfectly and has the horsepower I need when I need it. I did wish it had a 2Tb SSD though, so I did make that upgrade after I got it along with Windows 11 Pro, and using the original 1Tb SSD in a small enclosure as an external drive. Nice screen, rich deep colors, and the 60 Hz doesn't bother me in the least, even for the light gaming I end up doing on it. Finally, the integrated AMD graphics already punches up through its class, so I save battery power not having to use the dedicated RTX 4050 graphics that often. The ASUS software makes switching between those graphics modes really easy.

Every major YouTube review of this laptop loves it. I don't get it. I didn't. The best thing this unit has going for it is that it's the first of it's kind. Since the Olympics just ended, here's how I'd compare it. Imagine in a race, an athlete wins a gold medal, but one of the runners behind him tripped. Does that athlete not deserve praise for winning the race? Sure. Is it as good as if everyone had a fair chance at the race? Probably not. That's how I feel the YouTube comments of this produce be. There's praise to be had, but it seems missed. It's not a bad laptop. I just want more, especially for the price. The keyboard wasn't the best. There's a noticeable flex in it. At this price, I don't want that. The screen should have a better refresh rate. (I know I'm not the first, nor will be the last to say this.)
And then there was the drawing experience. With the list of issues I had on mine, it made the whole thing feel dated. Like it's not a machine coming out in 2024, rather earlier 2020. On top of that list was the bad palm rejection, or lack there of. I like the 2-in-1 factor to use as an occasional drawing pad. If this could do that well, I would not have been upset by it. When you draw on a screen with better than 60htz refresh, you can tell when you go back.
The two biggest issues however didn't end there. For me the fan was way too loud, especially on not too heavy use. If I'm trying to wind down at the end of the day, watching YouTube clips, I don't want to be re-awakened by the loud fan noise. I'm sure it does a good job cooling down the necessary components, but for a thin-and-light, the fans got way too loud for my comfort. It's not just the decibels of the fans, the pitch didn't help either. It's pitch is higher than a handful of laptops I have used. I don't want to raise the volume of this laptop to drown out the fan noises, it defeats the purpose.
The other major issue I had was the weak camera. Also the IR sensor used for facial unlock. My face had to be at an exact spot for facial unlock to work. It made me wish that this laptop came with a fingerprint sensor as well, especially with the hit or miss rate of the IR camera. Perhaps it was more annoying because as a new laptop I had to re-enter so many old passwords on Chrome websites. But on that note, something about ASUS that doesn't seem to like Windows 11vas much as other computer brands out there. One perk of modern Windows 11 is that you can change computers more seamlessly than previous versions of Windows. Things like Wi-fi passwords are saved and usually migrate from one laptop to another. Less so with Asus laptops. I don't know why.
Overall this isn't a bad computer by any means. It is clearly a "jack of all trades, master of none," type of device. It doesn't seem to know what it wants to be or who exactly it's made for. Not sure who this is for. If you were to ask, "can it do it?" the more than likely answer would be "yes," but, based on what you need, if you were to ask, "can it do what I need well?" the answer becomes a little muddier. Buy it on sale, when it's not at full price. Otherwise, you might regret picking this one up.

There are some driver issues. Quirks. The cooling is pretty loud at load. But all of this is to be expected from a 2-in-1 thats not from apple.
All in all, it works very well. I genuinely love the asus dial feature for adjusting faders, sliders, and knobs in audio apps.
a gimmick i was not sold on initially is something I dont want to go without now.
The keyboard is lovely, the large print font is an odd choice... and the backlight doesnt get dim enough for my tastes.
