    I wanted to love it!

I wanted to love this laptop. I bought it to work on adobe creative cloud-photoshop. The first time using the laptop, fully charged, it was working really smooth, and nicely. Then the fans turned on and started getting really hot. I turned it off ir I thought I did because the next day it was still running. It was so hot to the touch and it wouldn’t turn on. The screen was black. I forced a shut down and after many attempts it finally stopped. I waited a few hours to let it cool off and turned it back on. This time there was update available so I did it. I opened creative cloud again- ps and it was unstable. It would turn off in the middle of my work. It was very frustrating. I’m going to return it and keep using my specter x360 which is not the right laptop for this kind of work but it is more stable than this one. I really wanted to love it. The keyboard is very nice to type, love the touchscreen and the size and appearance of it.

For me, what it came down to was “How much do I really need/value and OLED Screen in a laptop of 13”?” The screen? Ohhhh ya…it’s luxurious. The look … about as close to a luxury camera as you can get—and that goes from the packaging all the way down to the travel/typing sensation on the keyboard; but then it things change. The first boot was glitchy, and elements of that remained every time I turned it on. Speaking of turning it on, the power button is very minimal. As for the rest of the device…and this is one that really knocks a laptop in particular out of contention is—the location of the power cord. While it isn’t some fragile little socket, it is located dead center left on the device which is cumbersome, and puts torque on the fitting any time it is moved. Here’s where things simply became intolerable. The power consumption is ravenous. I didn’t even load Lightroom or any other photo/video editing software because of the drain on the battery. It has a touch screen but since it only has two hinges—it wobbles like the inflatable character beckoning you to stop at the car wash. The pro-art component is confusing and located on the upper left of the key pad so engaging with that was beyond my tolerance. Full disclosure, I have owned ASUS products in the past and I find them to be extremely well built. In Summary, if you really need to have the color response of an OLED Screen in a consistently portable device…then this is for you. If not, too many compromises—which is unfortunate.

I am very happy with this product and I would be willing to continue to utilize the company and all the resources it provides not only for my work but for helping those around me to grow and learn AI technology as we know this is the avenue many should be looking towards if they want a great career path. This laptop has been able to help me build things beyond what is conventional and I want to be able to test and develop new programs and technologies from the ideas I have.

Have mostly used it to play stardew valley and it works well. I'm just getting the hang of drawing on it. It was a bit of a learning curve for me at first but it had more to do with my lack of experience. I've also used it for creating a collage photo album and it worked well for that too. So far I have no complaints.

Good laptop. Good as an all-in-one solution. I use it to steam shows, AutoCad design, some coding, and light gaming. The 4050 leaves a bit to be desired for gaming, but every game I've thrown at it is still playable with DLSS on. The 60hz panel does cause some screen tearing though, so I try to keep it around 45-55fps in games. The OLED panel is very beautiful with colors and blacks, but doesn't get quite bright enough. Still a good picture though. Every thing else is fantastic and when steaming video at peak brightness I can get 5-6 hours of use and 10 hours battery life with basic work. The 2 in 1 is a requirement for me now. It's so convenient for viewing media or playing any games.

This is a great laptop if you want power and flexibility in a small package. The computer works well for my needs which include standard writing and spreadsheets but it is also very good for Photo editing. It is light and works well as a tablet or pc. I still need to get used to the DialPad but I find it a great addition.

The software pre-installed on this machine is infuriating. The Asus software is buggy, broken, and basically unusable. The hardware itself is fantastic. The keyboard is decent for a machine this size. The display is absolutely incredible. Battery life is acceptable.

Very fast, efficient, sleek laptop. It is compact, has a bit of weight which helps the bottom of the laptop stay flat when lifting up the lid. I really appreciate this feature because on my XPS13, I always had to use 2 hands to open the laptop and this little inconvenience was not worth the lightness of my old laptop. I love this laptop, only thing it lacks is ports. It only has 2 USB C ports and one USB 2.0. Battery life is decent.

These are still my first impressions. The quality of all the material is great. The keyboard makes typing much easier and is very quiet. Using the computer also didn't make noise or heat up (I didn't do much processing). He's very fast. I thought it was bad, in this model, not to come with the pen. It's the asus page is pretty bad for recommending accessories. For a laptop that favors portability, the charger is huge... It was what bothered me the most. I bought a anker Gan 100w.Sensational

Mediatek WiFi/BT card constantly drops connection; pending further test/review, likely updating the card to an Intel AX210; also not sure about the whole OLED screen. bright and beautiful, but text is a bit blurry. Going to mess with the adjustment of brightness via the OLED flicker free dimming, and maybe it's the scaling in Windows, but for coding and staring at a screen all day I'm not sold since I'm older and my eyes are already tired... Lastly, the HX370 is definitely a powerful chip that's chugging through whatever with ease, and I'm not 100% whether it's WiFi connectivity issues that are causing blips in the experience (likely), but I'm evaluating this against a Surface Pro 11 with the Snapdragon Plus, and the Surface is by and large smoother to operate at this point, including installing WSL, working with everything, etc. I'll give it a couple weeks to see if any additional updates, etc., come through, but I suppose I had higher hopes for a machine to replace the Surface Pro and a 12700h/3060 laptop (which is also buttery smooth) for mobile notes/development/video editing. I'll update with any positive notes if I do not return it.

Came in perfect condition really and a full battery which is a n unexpected surprise. It's a really nice daily driver and the screen is excellent. The cpu holds up really well when the gpu is off during eco mode which gives excellent battery life. The touchscreen is good and the whole machine feels durable and built to go places. Overall an excellent experience, if there was an 120hz panel that would make it the perfect laptop for students&travellers.

This machine has great color I did not realize it was only 60 mHz so it is slower than I expected. But there are an abundant of ports. However I had to send it in after only using it a dozen times due to it not turning on. Best Buy was good at sending it for repair but but I was disappointed that I had to.

This laptop is powerful and portable, but its battery life is disappointing. The biggest issue is that it’s plagued with bugs—so much so that I had to return two units before finally giving up. Asus needs to address these problems effectively.

I went back and fourth on wether I should get the RTX 4050 version or the RTX 4060. Let me tell you the 4050 version is an excellent choice. This laptop is faster.in every catagory than my 2 1/2 year old XPS 15. Highly recommended.

Solid laptop, I returned it and upgraded to the 4060 version as I needed more power. It's wonderfully built, very strong, and does whatever you want it to do. The only complaint I have is that its panel, while beautiful, caps at a 60hz refresh rate. The included charger is also very large, but at least it charges the laptop quickly.

All in all, it’s a great computer. I’m a photographer and need a processor with a fast system that will operate light room and other programs all at the same time without running slow. This laptop does that. The biggest downfall is the battery life… If you were running a heavy duty program like light room you have to be plugged in, if you aren’t, it will die within two hours. The process is efficient and overall a good computer. If you have patience and are willing to wait for the battery, I would recommend. The other big thing with the battery is, once it dies it needs about 15 minutes to turn back on dot which is super inconvenient when you’re on the clock. If you’re someone with patience, I would recommend if you’re not this isn’t you.
