The side parts inside the case are held in by velcro and are flimsy.. the storage compartment without the brick/charger collapses/dents from the weight of the ally, (cheap materials). However, the thing that gets me p off is that the two connecting pieces that hold down the ally have underside velcro..and too much velcro under there at that.. and it overlaps onto the ally's screen) to nearly touch the screen of the device...When the SD card holder is on top of the two connecting pieces holding the ally down, the underside of those connectors (where the excess velcro is) gets smushed onto the ally's screen since this case closes really tighttt. This should be case design 101.. shouldn't happen...I've tried putting those connecting parts on the underside of the device, and the SD card holder that sits on the device ALSO has velcro underneath it and touches the screen too if you try and go that route...It's a lose-lose situation. Let's say, "Oh I'll just put everything under the rog ally" (how I originally planned on carrying this device due to the design flaws with this case)... NOPE.. you will have a $800 device moving around inside the case.. just stupid. Aside from all that, this is your only option right now as of now..and the case also smells like harsh chemicals, buyer beware. Hopefully, I'm not the only one aware of the velcro issue; I want to point out issues I see, as these devices are expensive.. the case is expensive.. just don't risk it. Hopefully, this made decent sense. If you buy it, you will see what I mean. The YKK zippers are nice, and the outside shell is nice.. other than that, I would get the slim case.

It’s great to know I can have my games from anywhere with the ROG Ally rather than being stuck to Steam OS with the Steam Deck. Also if you’re stuck between this and waiting for the switch 2, remember you can emulate and it won’t cost you $80. Only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because there is obviously room for improvement, I’m not getting 200+fps at 4k. So it’s not perfect
