The laptop itself is fantastic, but the XG mobile is incredibly buggy and unreliable. Common issues others and I faced included faulty ethernet and usb ports, unstable performance, failure to output a signal to external monitors, and failure of the latching system of the XG mobile connector. This may be due to first-generation products naturally having some issues, but nonetheless is unacceptable for a $3300 USD machine. Furthermore, Asus / Best Buy cannot repair the XG mobile alone under warranty; It must be sent in with the laptop even if issues are only present for the eGPU. Unfortunately, my model began experiencing issues outside of my return period, so now I'm stuck for 4 weeks without my laptop purely because of issues with the XG mobile. Don't end up regretting your purchase like I do; Go for the 3050ti model without the XG mobile. The 3050ti will easily handle 1080p 60fps on high settings for most games.
