I have zero complaints - this is an amazing gaming tablet. Extremely fast and quiet. Works great as a portable workstation as well. I'd highly recommend.

As a creative, gamer and father, sometimes it's not easy to relax for a quick second and get time to work or game with the kiddo around. This device let's me easily do all my tasks with ease and portability. Removing the keyboard makes it a great gaming device paired with a Bluetooth controller. Attaching the keyboard let's it be a powerful workstation form factor wise. It's super responsive and can run anything i throw at it. A beautiful IPS panel with great color accuracy too. Highly recommend if you need an all in one device like me.

The performance out of this thing is absolutely incredible and to be able to use it easily anywhere and with any large tablet stand after detaching the keyboard is just icing on the cake…for me the only downside to this is that it uses a 2230 ssd which at the moment caps out at 2TB…

Now, they're calling this a "laptop"; it is not. It is a Windows tablet with a keyboard. A great keyboard, at that. I've spent a little over a week with this device in 64GB- With 32GB allocated to the Max+'s iGPU. I can say with real confidence that this device punches extremely far above its class, the "4060-to-4070-ish performance in an iGPU" is real. I had some horror stories coming from an existing all-AMD laptop, the Zephyrus G14 with the 6900HS and Radeon 6700S, and I've experienced none of the problems I had there on this so far. Its stability has been absolutely perfect, and its capacity (even in the middle-of-the-road trim, the 64GB) for local deep-learning environments is next-level for a device of this class.
(Also, AMD, direct ROCm support for this APU, please?? Pretty please???)

It’s a powerhouse, can be used for anything, gaming, power hungry applications, etcetera. Love be able to use the touch screen and with screen rotation. Beats a standard laptop any day with its portability and flexibility. Battery life is pretty standard with Windows operating system, toggling between efficiency and performance modes always helps. You can also charge fast, and you can use usbc to charge as well so i was happy about that

This device left me scratching my head — it’s both impressive and frustrating.
Pros:
Design: The kickstand hinge and motherboard glass lighting are genuinely cool touches.
Display & Input: The screen is decent, the keyboard feels good, and the trackpad is serviceable.
Performance: The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 is stellar, and the software experience is better than average.
Ports: Adequate for a compact device.
Cons:
Screen: In 2025, a 13.4" 2.5K panel at 180Hz feels underwhelming at this price point. Glossy, odd refresh rate, and not competitive.
Usability: Despite the specs, stutters were frequent. And, while the overall performance was much better than the LEGOZ1E SteamOS I had before, it just never WOWED me. Functionally, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.
Price: At $2K, the value proposition is baffling. For the same money, you could buy a proper gaming laptop with an RTX 5070 Ti and get triple the performance.
Bottom Line: The ROG Flow Z13 is a weird product. It has some neat design elements and strong silicon, but the screen, usability, and price make it hard to recommend.

I was originally on the fence about this laptop due to price vs performance compared to other options, but it's portability was a main factor in my purchase. I've had it for four weeks now and am very happy with my purchase. My one complaint is that the fans can be pretty loud when gaming, but that's not exactly unique when it comes to laptop gaming.

I really like how this hybrid is a low power beast.
If I want it quiet I can play games like mh wilds or oblivion remastered at 30tdp and still get solid fps.
Battery life is great in low power mode when I'm just watching media.
Speakers were okay, but you can tweak them in the Dolby audio settings to make them good.
Touch is awesome and it's compatible with my surface slim pen 2.
This 1 13inch tablet has replaced all my pc needs and it's exactly what I've been looking for.

It was fantastic for gaming but for regular pc usage it was pretty abysmal. It can’t be used on your lap and also basic windows usage would make it load for freeze a lot. I’m sure mine was defective although as stated for gaming it was amazing.

The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its powerful performance in a compact, tablet-style form. Its 2-in-1 design, vibrant display, and compatibility with external GPUs make it versatile for gaming and productivity. Though pricey, it's a unique option for gamers seeking power and portability in a stylish, innovative package.

Just what I wanted in a portable gaming laptop, although this is more of a tablet than notebook which is awesome. Insane integrated GPU, you can allocate more of your ddr5 memory to your vram if you want. Gaming is extremely impressive on this little guy, a little noisy when max power but that’s to be expected.

It's one of the most impressive pieces of tech I've ever used. Very portable and plays very well. The best part is that the airflow is set at the back of the screen and exhausts from the top. Meaning it does not burn your legs! It's a laptop.

I use this Asus ROG Flow 13 mainly for school plus some gaming and coding on the side. It is light enough to carry all day and the 13‑inch size fits easily in my backpack.
This is a great choice if you want one machine for school work and gaming or heavier tasks.

What this tablet can do now, would have been unthinkable 3 years ago. AAA gaming at native resolution with high frame rates on an integrated GPU. The temps stay cool and the battery is what i would consider good. Perfmornace while on battery is also extremely good. You can only get this cutting edge tech here, with the Asus Flow z13

Absolutely bad design. Sucks as a laptop; too heavy for a tablet; overheating all the time. The software is absolutely horrible. Every time you switch between different modes, the keyboard driver locks up and starts acting cranky. It starts opening dialog boxes for regular key strikes. Unstable design where it is unable to control the heating. The screen itself gets on in silent / tablet mode. Drivers are unstable and struggles to unlock screen after going into sleep mode. Battery lasts less than 2 hours in tablet mode as the fans are always running. You can't play games with the touchscreen getting hot.
Asus needs to focus on delivering quality products that are tested for stability and reliability. This is a hushed-up job and it clearly shows up within an hour of usage.
We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing multiple issues with this laptop.
ASUS is an ISO certified company, as a result, all products go into a strict quality manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free. To resolve these issues, please update Windows, drivers, BIOS and applications if outdated. Updates for this laptop are posted at: https://rog.asus.com/us/laptops/rog-flow/rog-flow-z13-2025/helpdesk_download/. You may need to reconfigure your system, video, and performance setting inside the newer Armoury Crate utility software version posted at: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/. Regarding your concern about thermal issues. It is normal for laptops, with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer, to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions to have efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decrease or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down. Additionally, if you are accessing web applications online, please ensure this laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet service will definitely affect system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/.

**NO MORE 22W LIMIT!** – The 2022 model was fast but a 22w limit when using the gpu and cpu was very terrible to deal with. The 2025 version feels **way more unleashed**—no more weird power bottlenecks. You can go up to 90w. But i never need it. I usually get good performance with 30-40w.
iGPU is crazy powerful** – I’m still shocked at how well this thing games. **70-80fps in some titles?** On a *tablet*? It shouldn’t make sense, but it does, like monster hunter wilds, for example. Honestly, being able to have vram/memory and freely allocate is cool, but it will probably be just set once to an even split and mostly never touched if not doing AI. With 64gb, you have plenty for wharever you would want to do.
