The Asus G10CE- I51660 Is a solid rig for those who are wanting to get into PC gaming without having to go through the hassle of building their own rig or spending their life savings to get into gaming.
I have built two rigs personally, and generally prefer to have custom specs, but after my last rig took a fall and damaged the CPU socket, well let’s just say this has replaced it and I am fairly happy with it. For people who aren’t computer savvy here is a brief dictionary:
CPU: Central Processing Unit, GPU: Graphics Processing Unit, RAM: Memory, SSD: Solid State Drive - no moving parts, faster than HDD, but more expensive. HDD: Hard Disk Drive - has disks, a little slower, but more cost effective.
The good: It’s a budget system, it will run whatever you throw at it for the most part, it comes with a keyboard and mouse, to get up and running faster.
The bad: NVIDIA 1660 Ti instead of a 20 or 30 card and no optical audio port
The ugly: No USB-C ports? In this day and age?!
The chassis (Computer case) Asus has a pleasant design with some RGB lighting, which can make your gaming space more personalized. The case itself was smaller than I expected, and it’s nice to have it sitting up on my file cabinet instead of the floor. It comes with the metal cover panel installed, and an optional clear-plastic cover so you can see the lights and inside of the tower. It does pretty good with airflow, which is critical in keeping your system running fast.
The Specs:
>The CPU is an 11th Gen Intel i5-11400F which runs at 2.60GHz, which is a great mid-range processor with six cores, and 12 threads, so the processing power is there and I generally prefer Intel chips over AMD. The F indicates there is no integrated GPU capability, but really, if you are gaming, you have an independent GPU anyways.
The GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti which rivals a 1770, and this is where I am disappointed. NVIDIA is on the 4th Gen of cards (the RTX 40 series) and yet the 10 series is STILL going despite all the advances of the 20/30/40 series. This is kind of a marker for a budget gaming rig, but I think they should have gone 20 or at least a 30 series card since 40 is right around the corner. No ray tracing and the games I play still look good on the MSI monitor I have.
>Memory: 16 Gbs of RAM is a good amount of RAM and with gaming it will keep things moving quickly.
>Storage size: 512GB on a SSD (Solid State Drive). This size is fine for running the OS and MAYBE one or two games. I had a HDD (Hard Disk Drive) that was 1 TB and added that in because I have more games than what this can hold.

The pc runs smooth and has little to no issues on the games ive played. Mostly fps games. However, with only one 16gb stick of ram i could see it causing issues on more demanding titles. The fan it comes with is ridiculously loud. I bought a noctua fan for about $20 and it is super quiet now. The biggest issue for me was the 1 stick of ram. I bought a 16gb kit (2 sticks of 8gb 3200mhz each) to help with any potential issues with 1. However, the 2 sticks are only running at 2133MHz each instead of the advertised 3200. The motherboard allows no overclocking of any sort so i guess im stuck with ram that doesnt perform to its max potential? Otherwise, the pc is fine. Perfect for a starter pc. Assuming you get it for $400 off like me.

When I bought this, I honestly wasn’t expecting it to function as well as it does. This is a cheap prebuilt PC, but it does a great job. I can play all of my favorite games with no issues. It works great with MW, Red Dead Redemption II, Apex Legends, and so much more. I’m very happy with my purchase and I 100% recommend this to anyone looking to get their first PC.
I was a bit iffy when buying this because of the price, but I’m glad I went through with it.
The only downsides are that there aren’t any speakers (I got a bundle deal with a monitor) but I use a headset almost always anyways. It’s not too expensive to get speakers if I did end up wanting them. The fan can be a little loud at times but it honestly doesn’t bother me at all. I usually don’t even notice the fan, especially when I have my headset on.
If you’re thinking about buying this, go for it. It comes in very safe packaging and I’ve had no issues with it so far. It’s a great price.

As a college student and previous console gaming user, this pc has been nothing but fantastic to me. Given this being my first pc, I would 100% recommend this one to anybody looking to get something entry-level. The i5 processor is perfect for me at the moment, the 1660ti is fantastic for gaming (I play rocket league and fortnite 90% of the time and these games run just fine). One thing I will say though is for the clear side panel you are given, if you plan on swapping that in for the oem asus gray panel, be careful with tightening the screws that hold the other side panel in to the tower as they break right off if you tighten them too much cause they are plastic (in my opinion that is a flaw for asus as they should have simply been metal). In conclusion, great pre-built pc and always keep an eye out for it when it comes on sale as that was a motivator for me in my purchase decision.

Handles many gaming games well, has low hard drive storage for my taste, but added an internal SSD which it has ability to add and upgrade components. Has Windows 11, and works fast and well. Got a great deal on it with included monitor and cheaper than buying separate. Perfect for what I need and want it to do, able to have 3 monitors. The only thing I don’t like is the keyboard and mouse are the older style plug ins so I had to use up more usb slots than needed. But still enough to have additional components plugged in. Also no disc drives, but none have those nowadays and you can always add external ones if wanted. Still cheaper and with Windows 11 if you tried to build yourself separately if you get it on sale, if not it is about the same.

Exceptional computer tower for those with mid-range gaming wants/needs. It'll play a lot of games without fail or glitch. Especially if you're familiar with ARK survival evolved map Genesis 2, which is such a large amount of graphics and features to support, it'll play that map with high graphics turned on and not suffer lag. Good for people looking to get a gaming computer, but don't want to shell out for the elite systems out there.

Overall, this is a pretty good starting computer. The graphics card is a strong one. The only parts I would recommend upgrading quickly are: 1) add a 120 mm fan to the lower front (pre-tapped and has an open wiring port) because it runs really hot with only a 92 mm exhaust. And 2) add another ssd or other storage drive as 500 gig is quickly consumed.

My old computer died and I was interested in checking out VR on a pc to go with my Quest 2. This computer advertised it had a NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX3050 card which is adequate for that purpose. The computer doesn't have a Type C connection (seriously Asus?). When I bought the computer the ad indicated 1x PCIe® 4.0 x 16 under expansion slots. What it didn't indicate was that the slot was used for the graphics card so all you actually have for expansion is 2x PCIe® 3.0 x 1. It wasn't easy finding a USB Type C card that would fit because of this.
Also, the thing is loaded with bloat-ware and the "Armoury Crate" is a joke. I really wish I held out for a Lenovo but I was in a bind and needed something fast.

Reluctantly purchased as I’m not really a gamer, but the specs and price point were too good to pass up. I’m totally glad I made this purchase!!! The performance has been outstanding and it boots up in seconds…something I had not previously experienced. I guess new tech will do that….lol. I would highly recommend the purchase of a secondary M.2 drive or SSD. Even though this comes with a 512GB M.2 drive, which is speedy and spacious, it is the drive that houses the PC’s Operating System. With the installation size requirements of today’s games and applications, it will fill up quickly so a secondary drive is recommended. I would highly recommend purchasing this PC…you’ll be glad you did!!!

Very powerful. Does whatever I want it to do. Fast, easy to use and understand. A very useful tool for my starting business. I can find all the forms etc. I need. Presents a very Vivid AND CRISP picture on my monitor. Lastly, the cost is very reasonable.
