Performance while gaming is great. Raytracing is basically unusable at stable frame rates. CUDA and AI workflows are extremely fast. Biggest down side is the airflow and fan noise. The fan is unbelievably loud; I can practically hear it anywhere in my house. And, temperatures get to very high levels which can affect component lifetime.

Fairly decent computer, never had any issues running any games. Only comes with 1 stick of 16GB RAM, but fortunately has 4 slots so you can upgrade. Only downside is the PC is unreasonably LOUD. You will 100% hear it through your headset. For this price, might as well get something else or build your own because having a jet engine doesn’t make it any better to play.

CPU Reached 50C in BIOS. 80C+ Watching Twitch

This computer is fast. It's compact. The neon lighting is not obnoxious. The rear IO is solid. Strong cable management as far as I can tell. The reason I cannot recommend this product is due to it's reckless cooling. I've seen several reviewers mention it, but I dismissed their concerns due to the fact I wouldn't be playing the latest games. I figured it'd reach decent temperatures and I could just upgrade the stock cooling fan at a later date. This CPU reached temperatures of over 50C in the BIOS menu. It reached temperatures ranging from 78C and 94C watching a YouTube video on how to improve the cooling on this exact tower. Generally, idle temperatures ranged from 58C to 76C. I never even tried to test it under moderate or heavy load. Those temperatures are too high. These temperatures were recorded within 48 hours of receiving the tower. After close inspection I found the glaring issue: there is no airflow from the front of the case. It's a solid piece of plastic. This might've been okay 10 years ago, but with 11th gen i7 and a 3060, it's deadly. I didn't know how vital proper cooling was prior to purchasing this computer. I sure do now. When I heard just how loud the rear fan was, and how it never shut off, I grew concerned. After troubleshooting with Geek Squad, they deemed it to be a hardware issue and to return the product, which is what I did. It's currently on it's way back now. If this computer had a better case with more fans and space, I'd recommend it. If you decide to purchase this tower anyway, know that the lifespan of your essential components will be impacted.

I've had this computer for about a year and a half now, while it was weird to get a computer without a CD-Rom drive, I hardly missed it with everything being digital nowadays. I've had very few issues with this computer if any at all and I highly recommend it for any gamers out there looking to save some money while getting a good rig at the same time.

Great starter gaming pc for my nephew. He can get 500fps on fortnight. He is very happy with the computer. It has basic fans, ram and motherboard, but the components seem to be of acceptable quality. The graphics card is very capable and my nephew loves the performance of the machine.

Some rocket scientist who designed and set this up decided it would be a great idea for it to reboot without telling you it was going to reset, or why it was going to reset. I am currently searching for how to turn that feature off, but it's annoying. As for the other parts It is more than good enough.

Works well but the cooling fan is loud and the case isn”t very good for air flow. I mainly decided I could live with the airflow to get the I7 and 3060 ti for what I pad for the machine. In the future I May change the case

    Strong Gaming Rig Option

Let's just start with the basics: this ASUS ROG gaming rig holds its own when playing any title out there. The graphics card and processor are more than up for any task you throw at them. When unboxing, you can tell ASUS put a lot of thought into how they ship these computers The box itself is well insulated, and the transparent acrylic side is packed separately from the machine itself to better protect it during shipping. The computer is in a very nice microfiber sleeve. The cables, keyboard, and mouse are all in separate cardboard boxes. This was the best packaging job I've seen with a full-sized desktop computer. As is typically the case, the keyboard and mouse are functional, but that's about as much positive as you can say about them. I immediately switched to a better set of gaming components. For such a tall case, there's not a lot of extra room in there. There is space for additional RAM. Speaking of which, it's only a single stick of 16GB, so you may want to upgrade. Fortunately, there's room to do so. The machine tends to warm up fairly quickly. I guess that makes sense given the strong components, but it seems excessive under load. The fan has to work hard and often, and it is simply too loud. I'd go so far as to say this is the loudest and most persistent fan I've ever experienced. It would have been thoughtful for the case to include a handle or better way to grab it from the top. Maybe that's just a me thing, but this is the first gaming rig I've had that didn't have that. I know I'm old-school, but I also would have liked at least the option of adding an optical drive, but the front face is solid and there's nowhere to put one, anyway. I have some video editing software that I have to install via disk. Fortunately, I have a decent external drive. So, where does this leave us? Well, the ASUS ROG line is well respected in terms of pre-built rigs, and I can see why. There is a lot to appreciate here. The machine is very fast and never stutters or hiccups in the slightest. I have not been able to bog it down. It is very responsive and quick. The combination of SSD and traditional HDD mean it is quick-booting and you get reasonable read times For a gaming rig these days, I would have preferred a much larger SSD, but I may add that later, and that would have driven the price up to a ridiculous amount for this type of machine. Any time you have a pre-built rig at this sort of price point, you're going to have some sacrifices. I think ASUS did a reasonable job here of picking their battles. I would have preferred a better motherboard, RAM, and cooling system, but it works well enough - albeit rather loudly. The computer has an abundance of USB-A slots but no USC-C ports. There are two display ports but only one HDMI port. I would have preferred at least 2 of each. Setup was simple and quick. The machine runs Windows 11 out of the box, which is a clean interface. Overall, I'm very pleased with this as a basic rig. I wish it were more expandable and did a better job with ventilation and noise control, but the performance when gaming has been very strong thus far. And if you use for general tasks (I also use it for some moderate video editing), it powers through like a champ.

I’ve only had it for about a month and I can tell you it’s not a bad purchase. For the price and what you get, it’s actually not a bad deal. I’ve asked my friends what they thought since they’re more tech savvy than I am and they said for a gaming computer it’s a good deal.
