Of course, my Son keeps adding more games, so we will have to have the Geek Squad put in more RAM, nut you can't go wrong with this machine.

Asus only covers 90 days on open box and my 3060 blew within 2-3 months (no overclocking, i was mainly using Word and Youtube). Sent it off again a few months later for blue screening issues and they sent it back with the same issues. (All they did was reinstall windows) Its like the didnt even test the product before "ensuring it was fixed".

I was told it was bought open box, so of course im thinking id probably have to do some tinkering. Ive replaced everything except the board and the processor and this unit still randomly power cycles. The SATA drive died yesterday. If I had paid for this I would have felt ripped off. Ill instead never purchase a machine from Best Buy.

Stay Away - Cooling issues

Bought two of them for my wife and I to play games together. Both of our motherboards fried out in 7 months and to top it off Geek Squad doesn't know what to check when looking for problems because the stock SSD was also bad. If you buy this immediately take it out of the stock case as it has airflow issues. But at least two more fans. The stock SSD is by Western Digital, so it's decent but not great. Overall, save yourself grief, time and energy and buy something else. The BIOS are completely different their line up of non-prebuil machines, there no oferclocking and it's a micro motherboard. You're better off taking your money and putting it in a blender.

We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are concern about the excessive heat being generated on the PC.
The excessive heat under heavy load is normal, it's not a design flaw. Any PC with the same hardware configuration, regardless of the manufacturer, will generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.
