Do not purchase. Cheap hardware with short life.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this computer back at the end of March. Everything seemed fine until mid September. Suddenly I got constant bsod crashes. I sent it back for repair and the cpu was replaced. I was told if this repair didn’t solve my issue, I’d get a replacement system. After waiting over a month to get it back, the issue is still here, just not as constant. I took it back in store to request an exchange. Employee told me to come back in when a manager was in, and mentioned something about needing the system sent for repair 3 times for a replacement. Essentially I spent $1500 for a computer to last 6 months.

Worst gaming pc ever
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This gaming pc is the worst ever. Bought 3 days ago and it already broke and the fan is so loud!!! I dont understand asus logic with only 2 fans and they wont let you add anymore. Im returning today to go get a cyberpowerpc or an ibuypower. Those 2 company's are way more superior. I was trying to run marvels spiderman and it said my graphics card isnt compatible and i was like ya ok so than i tried fortnite. Didnt work either. Never messing with asus again. Like i said if you get a pc if you dont build your own get a CYBERTOWERPC or an IBUYPOWER PC. Those 2 companies are supreme and you can upgrade it yourself later on.

Good specs bad results
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to like this system based on the specs and price point, however it only has 1 stick of ram which makes it single chanel system, and it crashed continuously. I then upgraded the ram size and put it in the proper slots to allow dual channel however the system does not offer xmp so the ram still ran only 2133mhz. This still didn't fix the continuous crashing and the system constantly ram hot at 87c plus which caused it to throttle further reducing performance. Pass on this one!

Posted .Dear Jrenmath,
We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing system crash or performance issue with the PC
This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, desktop will do several system reboot, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. Also, while accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.

Excellent Gaming PC Overall
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the box comes the desktop, keyboard, mouse, DVI cable, a clear panel that can be swapped out with one of the panels on the side, spare screws, and various information and warranty booklets. Right out of the box, this PC is rather large, and has a bit of weight to it. But the overall design of the outer casing is quite sleek and smooth. RGB lights are a staple of the gaming community, and this PC certainly does them justice with a lovely glowing coming out of the side, front and back of the desktop. The glow coming out of the back of the desktop projects a very fun design on the wall. Opening up the PC for cleaning or customizing is rather simple, as there are only really two screws and a sort of interlocking hook system to keep the side panels on. Once the screws are off, you can just slip the panel off for easy access to the, rather neatly organized, insides. Perfect for customizing to your own gaming needs. The computer itself runs rather well, all the latest games run at the highest graphics settings with no issues with fps or overheating even with hours of gameplay. There was a small glitch that kept displaying some sort of error but after closing it in the task manager it was gone for good. I had no other issues with it so it was more than likely just a random thing. On this particular PC there is 500GB SSD and 1TB HDD. Definitely enjoying having the HDD space. Overall I would say this is a great computer for anyone on the market for a pre-built gaming PC.

Extremely mixed feelings
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The longer I use this machine the more I can't decide how I feel about it. On one hand, the specs look great on paper, and the machine itself looks good too. I also appreciate the fact that Asus included both a glass panel and a hard metal panel that you can swap out as you please. The RGB on the front looks pretty nice, and it has really decent performance when playing games. Additionally, it has a 30 Series nVidia GPU that isn't marked up 9000% and hasn't been burnt to death by crypto mining. However, that's where things get... less good. For starters, the computer literally sounds like a sports car revving up. It's... unsettling. I opened it up and discovered that the computer was not only using an Intel stock cooler, but also has no airflow. I couldn't find anywhere on the case where air could enter except for the vent in the side panel, and it's even worse when you put on the transparent panel. Additionally, the thing is a space heater - it made my room noticeably warmer, and even more so than the previous computer I was using with dual GPUs and about 12 hard drives. Speaking of hard drives, this machine comes with exactly one. While I have more, I can't find the space to put them... which is funny because the computer comes with extra wires as though somebody wanted there to be the ability to expand and upgrade it. That's not the only weird design choice - the clear panel makes no sense to include, because the inside of the computer doesn't even look good. The inside of the case is a really unappealing and unpainted industrial steel, the SSD and RAM are just bare chips and don't really have anything that looks good about them, and the Intel stock cooler is just about the most unappealing design ever excluding the coolers found in early 2000's enterprise computers. And by the way, while the RAM is speedy, it's just a single 16GB stick instead of two 8GB sticks that could use dual-channel. All in all, it really feels like the engineers were having a fight when they designed this machine and this is the compromise. It's a shame, too, because the specs are pretty decent and there's some real potential. Be as that may, it's still a really weird and confusing computer; and the bad cooling hurts it most of all. I have issues running games at maximum settings, and I suspect it's because the chips are throttling themselves so they don't melt. I probably could have forgiven the rest of the weird design, but the bad cooling is just too much. I can't really recommend this computer, unless you just want the parts as a basis to build your own PC.

Posted .Dear JeremyS,
We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused.
Any PC with the same hardware configuration, regardless of the manufacturer, will generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.
All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or part that stop working prematurely under normal usage. If you need more information or further assistance with the warranty for the product, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Posted .Dear Engel,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We'e sorry to hear about the issue you're having with your Pc running loud. The noise that is emitting from the computer is known as coil whine. When the electrical current is increased to a certain point, the magnetic field around the coil can cause it to vibrate, which produces the whiny sound. After a short amount of time the noise should go away as the components regulates. However, if it is that the sound is too much for you, then we would recommend that you have this device sent in for servicing. Any modification to the you may void your warranty.

Defective PC
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My ASUS failed to boot up, got an automatic repair screen, and the PC kept turning off. I either received a used PC or ASUS did not do a quality control check. Going to BestBuy today to either exchange or return the defective PC. Extremely disappointed, I am replacing a 6-year-old ASUS ROG laptop that was a beast and I was expecting the same from this new purchase.

The best for its targeted audience
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whenever you purchase a gaming PC, power and performance are normally priority. PC gaming can become tedious and expensive if you make it a point to maintain the most current hardware. Also, room for expansion is always welcome. The ASUS ROG G10CE is a more than capable of fulfilling the needs of most PC gaming consumers. The tower is attractive, and ASUS includes an acrylic side panel for more of a stand out look. Set up was easy. I would say I had the PC up and running in 10-15 minutes. During setup, the PC updated the OS to Windows 11. Part of me wishes I would have setup the PC initially without internet connectivity. This would have given more flexibility in that regard. My setup is 3 monitors, with one being a 4K 144Hz gaming monitor. Fortunately, 2 of my monitors have DP ports. The graphics card has 1 HDMI and 3 DP ports. I would have liked to see a 2 and 2 set up, but I get it – the advantages of DP are welcome. One thing to note, when you power this thing up, the fan is a beast. There were a couple of times I thought a car was passing the house or something was going on somewhere in the house. The G10CE performs superbly during gameplay. Playing games in 4K with G-SYNC were visually stunning with smooth framerates. No studder or tearing and able to fulfill the graphical settings of my monitor. I did have a driver error pop up when running a couple of games, claiming I was running and older version of the display driver. I partly contribute this issue to Windows 11, but something worth mentioning. Also, whenever I change the source of my gaming monitor (let’s say to play a few games on my Xbox), my PC has occasionally crashed, especially when allowed to sit or go into sleep mode. I’m not sure if there are issues with the display drivers when it feels the monitor is connecting and/or disconnecting, or if this is another Windows 11 exclusive issue. Although this is a gaming rig, I also use it for other tasks and some productivity. Overall, a good gaming rig that fits the needs of most PC gamers, hardcore pundits excluded. The graphics card is more than capable of handling just about anything thrown at it, and there is some room for growth/expansion, albeit limited. A worthy purchase.

Meets My Gaming Needs
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This gaming desktop meets my needs in both performance and design. Even though the components are not the highest end and the memory is a little light, this desktop effortlessly played the graphics intensive games that have slowed down comparably equipped laptops I've used in the past. My son and I play driving games such as Forza and this desktop showed no sign of lag or overheating after a few hours of solid play. Performance wise, it boots up quickly and has the power to tackle any game that I could throw at it. I paired it with a brand new high performance monitor and the graphics were as smooth as watching a movie - no lag whatsoever. While I am impressed with the quality of the desktop, I should point out that the keyboard and mouse that came with it are as cheap as they come. There are no volume controls on the keyboard so hard to manage volume while playing full screen games. I was hoping for some lighting on the keyboard and mouse but guess I will have to upgrade to get that. There is LED lighting inside the box that slowly changes colors and can be seen in the front, side and back. Also, it comes with a transparent replacement for the side of the box in case you want to have the inside of the computer on display. I may swap it out with that depending on where I end up placing the desktop. It looks like you can swap out either side. Overall, this machine feels sharp, crisp and fast. It can handle most anything you can throw at it right out of the box but for some hardcore gamers it could use more memory (only one slot is filled with the 16GB memory) and the rather small hard drives could fill up fast if you install a lot of games. I would recommend this to any entry level or mid level gamer.
