The ASUS ROG STRIX G16CH stands as a formidable mid-tower desktop PC, equipped with the powerful combination of the i7-13700KF CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. Upon putting it to the test, I found its performance to be smooth at 1440p resolution, maintaining a frame rate of 80+ even when utilizing ultra settings in several modern titles. As expected, this rig performs even better on older or less demanding games, where it can achieve much higher frame rates. With two fans on top of the case, one at the rear, and one at the bottom, along with ventilation at the front and back, the case has great air flow and helps it stay cool and quiet during long gaming sessions, with the low whisper blending into the background noise of real life. As I wear a headset most of the time, I don't notice much sound coming from it anyway. The sturdy and well-designed case does more than just accommodate the hardware; it provides aesthetics with its transparent side panel, offering a great view of the internal components, some of which have RGB lighting. The starry night Aura Sync effect that lights up the interior and flashes in the front is my personal favorite. The two additional RAM slots can be utilized to expand beyond the basic 16GB (8x2 setup) DDR4 memory, or all four if going above and beyond. You'll want it if you're looking to handle more demanding tasks like photo- or video editing, or streaming. There is an additional SSD slot for when the included 1TB just isn't good enough, which will happen quickly if not immediately these days. There is plenty of room if you want to upgrade from RTX 30 series to 40 series. Keep in mind that this isn't a high-end PC—far from it. However, considering the OEM build, it manages to deliver great performance and eye candy without the need to heavily consider high-end components to get what you want or need. You are absolutely going to get great performance from most games on high or ultra settings without any noticeable hiccups, and this will definitely last you some years before becoming something obsolete. But for those intent on achieving 4K resolution and exceptionally high frames on resource-heavy games, it might be worth considering alternative options. Overall, the ASUS ROG STRIX G16CH is a solid PC that delivers exceptional gaming performance. The build quality achieves both form and function standards, with aesthetic appeal and good air flow, making it a reliable gaming rig.

This is a great machine doing everything I need it to! One note, the hdmi outputs were tricky to discover as their are 4 of them, but only 2 connect to the graphics card.

Has been a great PC so far, get an average frame rate of 400 fps on valorant.

Performs well, steady 300 fps on Overwatch and My game has improved in Apex, COD etc. The limited 1tb SSD memory is just enough for a few games.

A very slick machine with lots of great features. I bought this while it was on sale; I probably would not have bought it at full price, however.

The ASUS ROG G16CH packs a lot of punch in a tightly fit package. It features a nice overall design for the pc case with plenty of RGB but is lacking when it comes to airflow, as it could definitely benefit from a couple fans on the front panel. You've got plenty of USB ports on the top of the case and on the back. And the case has a cool little arm you can pop out to store your headset on. I like the strap on the top, it definitely helped with moving the pc around. Moving onto the inside, there's not a lot of room to expand. The graphics card barely fits, so don't expect to upgrade down the line without getting a new case. There's another m.2 slot available, and a few sata ports to add some more storage if you want to add some HDDs or SSDs to the back. And as far as the back of the pc goes, asus did a nice job with cable management. Everything this rig comes with does a fine job as far as performance goes. The CPU is the real champ here and handled everything I threw at it like a champ. You're going to be able to comfortably play most games on Ultra at 1440p resolution. The RAM sticks are plane jane boards with no heat shielding, which is kind of a bummer to see at this price point. You do have two open slots if you want to upgrade your memory, but the 16 GBs is more than enough for all of the games that I play. And combined with the 1TB M.2 gen4 SSD your loading times are going to be super quick. Overall, If you're looking for a solid prebuilt pc for 1440p or 1080p gaming, I think the ASUS ROG G16CH is a good option. Just keep it in a very well ventilated area.

No problems as of yet. Easy set up, added 16 gigs of ram just to beef it up.

Meets the specs for new Starfield game. Works great and boots up fast.

So far, this desktop is perfect for my 15 year old gamer and video editor.
