This Asus ROG is a beast. I was worried when I received because the box was damaged. But no worries as the PC was packed well. Set up was easy and within minutes I was online and downloading Windows updates. This replaced a gaming desktop about 3 years old and this computer cranks! Seriously! There is nothing I can’t throw at it in terms of gaming. 60 FPS is not even an issue with this desktop. Game after game, this desktop can handle it all. The design of the computer is excellent. The case is awesome and ports are easily accessible. The built quality is top notch. You can tell care was taken when this desktop was designed and built. The Intel i7 is this ASUS can handle it all! It doesn’t even slow down. Honestly, I was shocked how well it has handled even the most demanding games. 32GB is more than enough for any game I own. Even while running the most demanding programs, the computer never runs warm. The cooling system is super efficient. Overall, this is by far the best gaming computer I have ever owned and could not be happier. It handles it all and with ease! Highly recommended!

I have never seen a computer as sleek and elegant as this one. One of the things that I was impressed with is the fact that you can hook multiple monitors up to it. The graphics are so exuberant. I love the open screen at the side which highlights the inside of the machine. This adds A NICE color scheme to the room and also the keyboard also is something that add life to the gaming. Some of the highlights are the storage, GeForce graphics, 1 tb of storage and 3.4 GHz intel core i7-core. This does with 6 onboard ports, three DVI &1 HDMI, Five extra PCI slots and two extra Ram slots. The Rog Strix case with internal lighting and the plexi glass window on the board adds sophistication and the GeForce RTX video card. Not only will this computer work for those that like gaming but it also would b good for your day to day work. It can handle day to day task effortlessly. When you are working on this it runs so smoothly that you can barely tell it is running. you can’t go wrong with this computer for gaming or work.

--- SETUP ---
The ASUS gaming computer is quickly set up. You might need a second person to carry it to be safe, but it’s a single unit that includes a power cable and a screw-on WiFi antenna. After that, plug in the included mouse and keyboard and you can begin using the computer.
--- FEATURES ---
This computer features RGB illumination visible through the clear side of the computer, 4060Ti GPU for ray tracing, capable of DLSS3, Intel Core i7-12700KF CPU, double D-Ring handle, headset holder, mesh front panel, and is upgradable.
--- PERFORMANCE AND EXPECTATIONS ---
This gaming computer is an amazing sight to behold when powered, and it’s got the power to back up your games and make them look even more amazing as well. The PC has a 2.1 HDMI port. I plugged it in to my HDMI 2.1 port of my TV, as I wanted to be able to enjoy this PC in a big screen. With the included WiFi antenna, I was able to log into my Microsoft account and transfer some of my apps from a previous computer. After doing so, I downloaded all of the necessary updates and installed Steam. The Xbox App was already installed, but it needed updating. After the updates, I managed to log in. The Xbox App offered me a free month of GamePass, so I was able to download games that were took advantage of the DLSS3 feature.
This feature uses AI to “...reconstruct seven-eights of the total displayed pixels, increasing performance significantly,” as per the NVIDIA website. The NVIDIA website also states that there are a total of 35 games that currently support this feature. The games are:
A Plague Tale: Requiem
Atomic Heart
Bright Memory: Infinite
Cyberpunk 2077
Conqueror's Blade
Dakar Desert Rally
Deliver Us Mars
Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed
Diablo IV
Dying Light 2
F1 22
FIST: Forged In Shadow Torch
Fort Solis
Forza Horizon 5
Hitman: World of Assassination
Hogwarts Legacy
Icarus
Immortals of Aveum
Jurassic World Evolution 2
Justice
Loopmancer
Marvel's Midnight Suns
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered
Microsoft Flight Simulator
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
Need For Speed Unbound
Perish
Portal with RTX
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Redfall
Remnant II
Returnal
Sackboy: A Big Adventure
Synced
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition
Tower of Fantasy
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
Warhaven
WRC Generations
From the list above, I played A Plague Tale: Requiem. Turning on DLSS shows a consistent 120 FPS while playing the game in custom graphic settings ranging from mid to high. I was able to play the game at Ultra settings without a slowdown on gameplay, but at a variable of 40-50 FPS.
I also played Hogwarts Legacy and had a similar experience. I could game at Ultra settings and the game ran very well at a variable 45 FPS. After I switched it to a few custom settings between mid and high, I was able to find a consistent FPS of 120.
I played games that were not DLSS 3 compatible, like Control and Starfield. Starfield showed a very smooth gaming experience that was more enjoyable than its console counterpart. Control was at its best showcasing ray tracing with natural reflections in the glass panes and mirrors.
--- APPROVAL ---
This ASUS gaming PC tower is such a great companion to any 4K 120 Hz HDMI 2.1 TV or a 4K monitor that can do at least 120 Hz. It includes bluetooth, so I can pair any PC controller for a wireless experience when gaming. This computer is for gamers who are ready to take their gaming to a whole new level of immersion and I would highly recommend it.

The Asus G16CH is an excellent choice for your next gaming rig. It's highly capable of playing any game you throw at it. It comes with a lot of features that I would personally upgrade to. To start out, the case is nice to look at with the glass panel side and RGB lighting. The i7 13700KF is water cooled by a top mounted dual fan radiator. You do not have to ever worry about the processor overheating. This in turn keeps the fan noise to a minimum. The case also has excellent air flow. This package is very quiet. The RTX 4060ti is highly capable of playing any game at max settings at 1080p, but is also able to play most games at high/ultra at 1440p. I've been currently playing a lot of The Crew Motorfest at 1440p, HDR, with almost max settings at a steady 60 fps(max limit). Not only is it a powerful GPU, it runs very quiet. The G16CH also comes with 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD drive for lightning fast loading of the OS and your favorite games. Another nice thing I noticed is there is very little bloatware installed. To be honest, most of the software I removed was from Microsoft. The included mouse and keyboard are okay to get you up and running, but if you're even slightly serious about gaming, you're going to want to replace these.
There are only two things I wish were different. For starters, 32 GB of RAM is excellent, but there is no XMP timing profile. The RAM does perform quite well, but you could squeeze a bit more performance out of this rig with XMP settings. Another minor issue is the locked i7 processor. While it's extremely fast, I just like to tinker with the settings to get the most out of my processors. Other than that, this is an excellent gaming rig.
Likes:
1.) Highly Capable
2.) Water cooled, runs quiet
3.) Attractive case with nice RGB lighting
Dislikes:
1.) RAM does not have an XMP profile
2.) Locked processor
3.) Mouse and keyboard

This desktop is a beast!
With an Intel Core i7-13700KF CPU and a NVIDIA RTX 4060TI GPU, this thing has easily handled everything I've thrown at it: video games, video rendering, VR, and assignments for class/work. I didn't feel like I was missing out on performance one bit. The CPU is liquid-cooled which is A++. Temps were great throughput heavy loads and fan noise was minimal. The Aura software makes it extremely easy to fully customize the RGB effects.
The build quality is top-tier. Everything is matte black and goes perfectly with my office aesthetic. Cable management is great as well. everything is neatly tucked away. It has a hook for your headphones and it's sturdy enough to trust. There is also a handle strap on the top that helps you move it around. Very useful! The motherboard has 4 slots for RAM but it comes with two non-RGB 16gb DDR4 sticks pre-installed. It also comes with a 1TB PCIe G4 SSD. It's equipped with Wi-Fi 6 as well.
If you're not too keen on building your own PC from scratch, this is a great alternative! Do your own research, of course. However, I think this is a great value for anyone looking to get themselves set up with a gaming system with as little headache as possible.

I got this gaming desktop computer for my husband who had been wanting to get one for a while now. We were debating whether to get a gaming laptop or a desktop. But ultimately, we settled with a gaming desktop.
For starter, this desktop is massive, so if you're considering getting it, make sure you have a good space for it. The lights effect is so cool, we turned the desktop sideway so we can enjoy the light effect better.
One of the games that my husband likes to play is Genshin Impact and his old laptop was struggling with simply running it. So once we set up the computer, he immediately downloaded the game. It failed a few times to download, but once it finished, WOW! The first thing we noticed was how silent it was. The fan wasn't kicking into overdrive running this game. On his old laptop, it sounded like an airplane was getting ready to take off and it would generate so much heat. This desktop runs it like a champ!
Performance, graphics, everything else is just perfect. 2 thumbs up from us!

This PC is fast, fast, fast!! I had an older gaming PC that I was struggling to get games to run on very well, so I decided it was time for an upgrade! I have never had an Asus computer before, so I didn’t know what to expect. Out of the box I was impressed with the build quality. The case was solid, the glass parts were thick glass, and the lighting effects were very cool. I wont get into every little spec, cause you can see those on the product information page. But this thing is loaded with everything you will need to easily play the latest and greatest games.
When I started to get the PC set up I first wanted to add my internal data hard drive from my old PC. I have to say, that was a lot more of a challenge than I was expecting. I searched around for bays to slide the hard drive in to and for the power cable for the drive and I couldn’t find them anywhere. I finally had to google a video of how to install a second (SATA) hard drive in this thing. You have to put screws in from the bottom of the case into the hard drive that just sits on the bottom of the case, so you can only have one SATA hard drive since there are no bays that you can slide drives in like most computers have. They also don’t include power cables for SATA drives so I had to run to the store and buy one of those. Then, the way the drive is positioned, it is right up to the inside wall of the case making it very hard to get the cables to fit in. You will need an angled power cable or it just wont fit. I will attach a picture so you can see what im talking about. So that whole ordeal didn’t give me a great impression of this computer right off the bat.
But once I got that problem solved and got this thing fired up my impression quickly changed. This thing is very fast. From startup to loading programs or games, it all happens VERY quickly!
I am the kind of person who uses my PC for day-to-day tasks like surfing the web, watching videos online or through streaming services. I also edit drone videos and photos in Photoshop. This computer handled all of those tasks with ease.
I also use my PC for gaming as well. I loaded up some older games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Elden Ring and they ran flawlessly even on very high graphics settings. I also loaded up the new game Baldur's Gate 3 and it had absolutely no problem running that even with high graphics settings as well. So, I can guarantee this thing will be able to easily run pretty much anything you throw at it. Those are all pretty graphic intensive games and they all ran perfectly!
It comes with plenty of ports to be able to connect tons of accessories. Even has audio and USB connections on the top of the case in the front for easily plugging things in without having to climb under your desk to get to the back of the PC. It also has a Wi-Fi 6 card in it so you are good to go when that becomes more mainstream.
The included keyboard and mouse are very basic, just chuck those in the trash. You’d think for a gaming PC they would come with a better gaming keyboard and mouse setup, so that’s a little disappointing.
Other than than the keyboard and mouse and the hard to install extra hard drive, this is a very solid machine! I have a feeling I will be using it for many years to come! Definitely check it out if you are in the market for a new gaming rig!

Great system with minor drawbacks

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The newest ASUS gaming systems boast some impressive specs and have everything you need to run the latest games at the highest settings. As with any pre-built gaming systems there are a few drawbacks, as they are always held back over the 'weakest' parts. Fortunately there are very few weak points with this system!
First be aware the outer box for this thing is massive! That's a good thing as it protects the delicate parts of the system during shipping, but you might want to make sure you have room to fit the box in your car if you're picking it up.
It's a simple unpack and set up (though you will want help getting it out of the box due to the size and weight of the system). TI comes in a nice protective cloth sack in the interior, and even a 'carrying' strap (though I would not call this system portable). As with any windows system, once you have the computer plugged in you will need to go through the Windows set up. Fortunately Windows 11 sets up quicker than 10, so it only takes 10-15 minutes to get to a point where you can start downloading games!
The system itself is tall and a bit slimmer than many gaming systems. It has lots of fancy lights and looks really good when running. Once you start really looking at the system you can see why the case is larger--there are a lot of open ports, slots, etc, for connecting nearly everything you can think of.
That's a good thing, as one of the drawbacks I mentioned earlier is storage space. It comes with a very fast 1 TB SSD, but you will want more space than that, considering most major games these days will take up 10-20% of that space for just one game. With the fast SSD as your main drive, you can supplement with more SSD's, or even use an external hard drive to save a little cash. You will definitely want more space, though.
Fortunately there are not too many other weaknesses in this system. The power supply is more than enough to run the beefed up video card, and the cooling has been more than efficient so far under high-stress gaming to keep the processor cool with no danger of overheating from the heat monitors I've installed.
As far as games go, this thing is fast and beautiful. So far every game I've played has looked incredible with no drag, even at the highest settings. Diablo IV and Baldurs Gate 3 are the games that test PC's the hardest at the top settings, and I've had zero issues with extended play sessions. I even downloaded Starfield to try with the free month of Xbox pass that's included (though be aware if you don't want to pay a monthly fee of $15 you have to cancel it before it renews after the first month).
It definitely helps that there's 32 GB of ram preinstalled. Everything about this system is fast.
Asus even includes a decent 'utility' program that monitors the system and keeps drivers updated, as well as a nice walk-through of the system. I've only used it a couple of times so far, but it seems to be more useful than other programs of this type that I've used.
The video card is fantastic, though it's a little odd they went with the 8gb memory model instead of the 16gb, but again, zero issues playing everything at it's highest settings that's out now. It should be plenty for future games for the foreseeable future (I've posted benchmark scores below for anyone curious).
The other things you will want to add to this system are a nice monitor (I'd recommend the biggest one you can afford), and a gaming mouse and keyboard set. For some reason pre-built systems always seem to include the cheapest peripherals and unfortunately this system is no different. The mouse and keyboard included appear to be the same ones included with entry-level ASUS systems so that's a little frustrating.
Overall (as you can see from the benchmark scores) this system is head and shoulders above many systems designed for gaming, and ASUS did a fantastic job avoiding most of the pitfalls that usually happen with pre-built systems.
Highly recommended if you want a gaming computer that you don't need to immediately upgrade, save for the peripherals!

The first thing that I thought about when opening the Asus ROG Gaming Desktop box was luxury. It was a very heavy and large box, with the instructions at the top of the box. I felt it was helpful to know that was the top - so anything that would replicate that in the finished product would be a nice touch. When you open it, you are greeted with the cool republic of gaming logo and a small box with an optical mouse, some extra cables for the PSU, movable antenna for the wifi, and the power cable. It would probably be helpful to have some documentation about the extra PSU wires, but I am not currently using them.
When you lift up the foot of foam protection – which shows a lot of care in shipping this safely – you find the tower and keyboard in a small cardboard box. The tower itself was in a small paper bag, to keep dust and debris out. Be careful when lifting, as it's quite heavy (the box weighed about 30+ pounds). The top of the case is a little bit higher than the back by about an inch or two. It's nice that there's a strap to grab the tower from once you've removed the bag. Once you have everything hooked up - (Note - use the bottom HDMI connection close to the GPU, not the ones at the top. I reached out to ASUS for assistance, and they responded in less than a day with an updated instruction pdf and advice that worked – I’m fairly tech savvy but the current written instructions were somewhat confusing which they have taken into consideration – which is a really nice touch).
Once the system booted up, I immediately noticed that it was very quiet. It has been a while since I've used a tower PC but I can remember thinking how loud they used to be compared to this extremely quiet machine. The RGB lights are a great touch on the transparent side and feels very “on brand” for this tower PC. As of now the lights just go in an intermittent rainbow pattern, but I'm guessing there's a way that you can change colors –it’s a pleasant feature.
I haven't used a Windows PC in a while - I use a chromebook as my day-to-day, so the Windows 11 setup was completely fresh for me. I found that it was very similar to Windows of the past, and if anything, easier, and with less frustration. It has some cool new features like the ability to have several desktops available to me with one click. Microsoft edge was incredibly fast and I haven't felt the need yet to move to a different browser. It feels like it's built to be used with edge and I’ve been impressed with that integration.
Youtube loaded quickly and looked beautiful, but I had to get right to a game, so I loaded Cuphead on Xbox Game Pass. I couldn't believe how quickly (after I had gone through the setup of Game Pass) that I was able to play a game – and it couldn’t have been easier. It took about 5 minutes, and that's including the time it took me to go upstairs and get my Xbox controller. I've never experienced a time when I've played a game off of the console it was "built" for and had a better experience, but I'm pretty sure I've converted to the pc. It's so fast, and Cuphead runs so smooth – even better than on my Xbox Series X. This is how I imagined PC gaming decades ago but was lured away by the ease of console gaming. Years ago, PC gaming was so inconsistent and inherently out of date the following year, but this seems to be the opposite experience.
I decided to move on to a newer game – Cocoon -- to see if the experience was equally as flawless. It was just as easy, and the computer stayed just as quiet.
Forza Motorsport was my next game through PC game pass, and again it ran as smooth as butter. The computer fan didn't even get noisy - I was expecting vacuum cleaner sounding decibel noise levels and there was no noise at all.
The quality that has gone into this Asus Gaming Desktop is spectacular and the speed is unmatched. It boots in no time and plays games just as quickly. I’m excited to put in some extended time but as of yet, I haven’t found a game that has caused this desktop to show any signs of lag.

I'll start with an obligatory disclaimer. This is obviously a pre-built and the general opinion among serious (often elitist) gamers is that pre-builts are for suckers and are always junk. If you're one of these people (and admittedly I sometimes fall into this category) then this device and review are not for you. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.
With that out of the way, let's dig in. There's much to say and I won't get to everything because who wants to read something long and drawn out? In my opinion, as pre-builts go, Asus is starting to hit their stride when it comes to their choice of components and overall system value. It looks like they've finally taken feedback from reviews of earlier systems to heart and addressed shortcomings providing a much better overall user experience.
Spec-wise the machine I'm reviewing has a 13th Gen i713700KF CPU, 32GB PC3200 DDR4 RAM, a 1 TB NVME PCIE Gen4 SSD, a B760 motherboard, an Asus DUAL GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 video card, 2.5Gb Ethernet, integrated Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a Greatr Wall 750W 80 Plus Gold power supply, and a good mix of front and rear USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 2 IO (both USB A and C ports).
One of the pain points is ASUS's previous pre-builts has been cooling, especially CPU cooling and I'm happy to report that it looks like they're finally addressing this. My machine came with an Asus-made AIO (though not one if their retail models afaik) 2 fan 240mm top mounted radiator and a rear exhaust fan in addition to the dual fans on the GPU. In my testing playing Starfield, Jedi Survivor, and Cyberpunk 2077 thermals seemed to stay under control at 1080P/high settings. Even bumping up 1440P was just fine. Good on you Asus! The 13700KF is a beast, but it can get toasty and the AIO handles it very well.
As for overall value, I've attached an image of what I feel is a fair representation of what it would cost to build a similar machine yourself using off the shelf components. Some, like the case for instance, don't have an exact correlation, but I got as close as I felt I could. The long and short of it is that one could build a pretty close copy-cat version of this machine for around $1609.44. When factoring in what it would cost you in time to actually put all the components together, install the OS, and configure settings I think the pre-built wins on cost. Especially since Asus provides a warranty and support as well.
Bottom line, for people who want a very enjoyable gaming experience for a fair price without any of the hassle or headaches of building their own machine, this is a formidable option. The specs should hold up for quite a while and in the event that they get a little dated, you should be able to upgrade individual components with relative ease.
Good job on this one Asus. I'd have no problem recommending this machine with confidence.

Wonderful Prebuilt that can Grow with You

The Asus G16CH is frankly a very good, almost great pre-built in a market full of cheaply made, overpriced units that are full of words like GAMING and RGB and i7 or RTX. Most of the time these words are used in such a way to get grand parents or those new to PC gaming to shell out too much money for a computer that wont do what they expect it to do well, if at all. Asus did most everything right in this pre-built, which seems to me like they have listened to community feedback and changed their ways as they have made their fare share of extremely crappy pre-built gaming computers.
Starting off the with the motherboard. Asus includes a B760 chipset motherboard with 4 RAM slots, 6 SATA connectors for extra hard drives and surprisingly 2 m.2 SSD slots. Its one major “downside” if you can call it that is the B760 chipset does not allow overclocking or adjusting of power limits to get more out of your processor, but most people buying a pre-built have little reason to do so.
This brings us to the CPU itself, the 13900KF. To Intel, K means unlocked and able to overclock, and F means it doesn’t have built in graphics so you must you a graphics card to display a picture. When running Cinebench I got a score of 23855 (my own 13700KF hits 29500+ in the same test), which is about the max performance one can expect of the Intel i6 13600KF which is one step down and about $100 cheaper if you bought it separately. This is my one major critique as unless you plan on using the CPU heavy rendering tasks, you really wouldn't notice the performance, however because of this motherboard you can’t really get that performance anyway because the power limits on this board keep you from accessing it which is a real shame. I wish they had included the 13600KF and saved the customer $100 or gave you a RTX4070 instead of a RTX4060ti GPU.
That brings us to the graphics card, which is the main thing gamers pay attention to other than the CPU, probably more so. The included RTX4060ti is getting all kinds of terrible reviews online due to price to performance, HOWEVER, those reviews are if you bought the GPU by itself, and the performance is not really affected in real-world use. This GPU is at home running games in 1080P on high or ultra settings, or 1440P on medium to high with DLSS on. This is NOT for 4K gaming. In every game I tried, from Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Modern Warfare 2, and even notoriously GPU intensive Cyber Punk 2077, this little GPU kept chugging along.
My biggest knock against the card choice is its 8GB of VRAM vs the 16GB model that is available for $50 more on their website. While 8GB of VRAM is getting to be close to not enough, you can make your games look great without running ultra settings which normally uses way too much VRAM for the quality of picture it produces. While this card is not that impressive without DLSS on, that is one of the MAIN REASONS to buy an NVIDIA card in the first place. DLSS 3 not only boosts your frame rate it also has Frame Generation, which in games that support it (Frame Generation is best used in single player games as it adds input lag), it really increases the performance of this card to something close to last generations RTX3080 running without DLSS turned on. That is pretty impressive.
The thing that impressed me the most is the fact ASUS learned from their past pre-builts that really hurt performance, especially if it was an AMD CPU, was that they included 2 8GB sticks of RAM instead of just one 16GB stick! This allows it to run in Dual Channel mode, which can significantly increase the speed the CPU is able to process heavy tasks, like games. They also made sure to include 3200mhz RAM and turn XMP on from the factory (though it doesn’t show its on in BIOS, it IS in fact running at 3200mhz). Extreme Memory Profile is basically a free RAM overclock that allows it to run even faster than it normally would. These two things combined with the quality CPU and GPU basically guarantees you more frame rate in your favorite games.
The only negative I can see for the memory is its “ugly” because it is bare green PCB sticks of RAM instead of having a nice shiny metal heat spreader with RGB on it, but ASUS put more of the money where it matters and RAM is an easy future upgrade should you find yourself needing more RGB in your life.
Another surprise is the power supply. Not only is it a 750W Gold rated power supply which is very energy efficient, its also semi modular allowing you remove and install certain cables, like for the GPU, as they're needed. They include extra GPU and Molex cables in the accessories box so you can add a more power hungry GPU or more hard drives and fans as needed. 750W is more than enough for this CPU GPU combo, giving enough head room to add even a Nvidia RTX4080 or AMD 7900XT if you wanted to in the future.
ASUS also saw fit to include a smartly laid out chassis that not only accepts off the shelf parts allowing you to reuse it as you upgrade in the future, but also cools the PC quite well! The CPU is cooled by an inclluded 240mm All-In-One water cooler with 2 120mm cooling fans blowing all that processor heat out the top, it also has a bottom to back routed mesh for the power supply to cool itself. The one critique is there is no intake fan on the front and it can only take an old school 80mm fan and also only has one 80mm cooling fan on the back. While these are not impossible to find, they aren't that common anymore as 120mm was found to be the standard for today's hotter running systems.
However in my testing the PC stayed cool with a combined average temperature of 72* C which is well within the specs of the CPU (100*C max) and the GPU (90* max). Again part of this is because ASUS locks the power limits for the 13700KF down really hard so while it stays cool you also lose productivity performance. You’ll never notice this while playing games.
This case as mentioned before can take standard computer parts so in the future if you want to get a new motherboard and processor, GPU, power supply, etc you can. The other nice features include 1x head phone jack, 1 MIC in, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A and Type C on the front, and Gig Ethernet and WiFi for those of you that can’t plug into a router, 3 audio, 4 USB 2.0 Type A, and 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A on the back of the case. I also includes what I think is a very useful built in headset mount and a not so useful carry handle to take it to LAN parties (unfortunately those are pretty much no longer a thing). And your beautiful PC is shown off with a real tempered glass side panel with plenty of RGB to make it yours. The ASUS ROG logo on the AIO and the case itself looks tasteful without being garish.
Asus also includes a mouse and keyboard… which is just that. Its a cheap e-waste membrane keyboard with a lot of flex while typing and a standard 2 button mouse you’d find in any office environment. They get the job done but you’ll quickly find yourself wanting something better to go along with your nice new PC, so you could always give them to a younger sibling or your child.
Last but not least is the fact that this PC has 0 bloat ware! There was not one trash program preinstalled (especially the ever-offending McCafee anti-virus which may as well be a virus itself.). The only included programs were Microsofts suite of Office products and Asus Armoury Crate so you can edit your RGB colors, update drivers, and change your fan profiles.
So what do I think of this PC? ASUS has made leaps and bounds in quality of life improvements from their lack of bloat-ware to including 2 sticks of RAM in a quality case that can be used in future upgrades. This PC will also play every game out now without much issue. But I find myself scratching my head that they included a 13700KF (which can easily handle 1400p graphics and productivity needs) that is heavily throttled to the performance of a 13600KF, while including a GPU that needs more VRAM and is more of a 1080p card than 1440p (yes it performs fine with DLSS3 on). Personally this PC would have been much better bang for the buck with a 13600KF and a 4060ti with 16GB of VRAM or bump up to a 4070.
This isn't to say this isn't a very good pre-built, as it really is. But ASUS could have cut a few dollars off the price for their customers by going with a step down in processor since they are not letting you use that power, or kept the price the same and bump up the GPU spec. That said this is a very nice pre-built that will be excellent for years to come and you can easily upgrade it as needed.

Summary
Got the ROG Gaming (Asus G16CH-I7K4060TiVR Desktop computer, it does a great job as an entry level gaming desktop. Good for anyone transitioning over from console to gaming PC. Don't expect a significant increase in performance but there are some different titles this computer shines. The RTX 4060Ti works great on 1080p and somewhat ok on 1440p mode but I wouldn't really try to push it further. Overall I'd recommend this if you want to get your feet wet in gaming PCs.
In The Box:
ROG G16CH-17K4060TiVR
13th Gen i7 3.4GHz 16 cores 24 threads
32GB DDR4 Ram
1TB SSD HD
RTX 4060Ti 8GB
Keyboard
Mouse
Wifi Antenna
Use:
I planned on using this computer for general purpose (internet scrolling, excel use, word docs, photo editing) and some gaming. I think this computer is great for that use case, the latest version of the Intel i7, 13th gen has not issues with any of the apps I threw it's way. The 32GB of DDR4 memory does a good job of keeping up, especially for memory intensive apps. I like that this computer came with 1TB of HD space out of the box.
The main thing you wan to buy this computer for, GAMING. I played played the following games on this computer and I'll share the avg FPS, I tested all at 1080p and some at 1440p, none at 4k, I'm limited to a 1440p 144hz monitor.
Cyberpunk - 1080p 86fps, 1440p 67fps
Forza 5 - 1080p 144fps, 1440p 132fps
Go of War - 1080p 82fps
Horizon Zero Dawn - 1080p 99fps, 1440p 76fps
Please note that you might get more or less fps depending on your in game graphics settings but I do not really mess around with the setting and leave it pretty much on default settings.
Overall Thought:
I'd like to say, if I used this computer as an all around general computer and entry level gaming computer, this gets the job done. I would recommend this if you're using this computer for that use case but if you're looking to get into the highest Resolution 4k gaming at the fastest FPS, I would suggest you to look else where.

Honestly, I really enjoy this product. Super fast and very powerful. For the price, you really cant do much better for a prebuilt gaming pc. I checked multiple prebuilt sites and multiple builds before I made a choice. This was the best value for my dollar. Super easy to setup, and being able to run Nvidia DLSS is a game changer in terms of graphics. Insane GPU for the price, would reccomend!

In my short time (3 weeks) with this asus pre-built PC from Best Buy, I'm impressed. The PC has an excellent case with sleek rgb lighting. I was happy to see that it was not overly bulky on my desk. The airflow seems great so far and the cooling is seamless. Ive seen a lot of negative comments about the 4060Ti gpu that comes with this setup. To be honest im not to concerned with the gripes about it. All the games i primarily play run great on this PC.

I've never bought an Asus gaming machine and didn't know what to expect. This is a well built, solid gaming machine with water cooled heat exchange and even cool lights. It runs everything I've thrown at it and pushes three monitors. Win!

Very solid build that met and exceeded my gaming needs. Primarily a Tarkov player so landed on this PC because of the 32 gb of ram. Once I got everything set up I ran a few raids and was averaging 95 FPS on Streets and around 130-140 FPS on each of the other maps. Haven’t really stressed the gpu yet but for RAM intensive games this thing runs great.
Outside of in game performance the system is very quiet even with the fans cranking. Pretty solid build average RGBs and average cable management.

Sleek Intermediate Gaming PC

This Gaming PC is a very sleek intermediate gaming PC, it has all the necessary components to upgrade your gaming but i deducted a star due to the sloppy wiring and loose connections I found.
The case is very nice, the slim profile makes it convenient with a small footprint. The rear strap carrying handle makes carrying it a breeze, i actually have transported it to friends house for game night and the strap made it very easy. The side headphone holder is pretty cool as well, not the most important aspects but very nice touches.
The Intel i7-13700KF has not shown any issues when multi-tasking and and the liquid cooler does a good job to keep the temp down but the fan is a bit noisy. I even adjusted the rpms and changed the rpm's per temp limits and it helped a little.
The 16GB DDR4 does a good job handling the requirement for most games but i will be upgrading it to 32GB to take it to the next level.
The 1TB storage is adequate for my needs, i don't store games on the drive.
The 4060ti does give me a good frame rate on call of duty, the FMV cuts are about 120fps and the actual gameplay with the RTX enable gives me anywhere from 80-100fps without any lag or overheating. The fan does get a bit loud but it's drowned out by my speakers and the gameplay so it's not an issue for me.
It is a good gaming pc that can be great with a few upgrades.

This computer is amazing. I love the liquid cooled CPU and the GPU are amazing, this is my first intel CPU, I had AMD before and I think I’ve switched from the red team (AMD) to the blue team (Intel) I use this PC for work school and gaming and it works flawlessly. I can play hardware intensive games and it holds a steady frame this is my favorite I have ever had
