It’s a good pc for the price works for the most part only issue is the power supply, it’s way too low. 600 is not enough for so called vr ready, caused constant stuttering and crashing because of it in VR . It should at least come with 800+ in all reality it’s not like it’s expensive they just cut corners there causing me to have to spend more to replace to not have performance issues.

What a machine! I really couldn’t be more pleased with the new Asus ROG desktop that I recently picked up. I grabbed it to replace an aging ASUS desktop that has performed well for years. I didn’t realize how far behind I had fallen until I fired up this new box. Unboxing is easy enough. Thick heavy packaging protects your investment until you get it home. There isn’t much in there. The tower, wired mouse, wired keyboard, and a very important antenna. I won’t use the wired peripherals because I already have some excellent gaming equipment, but it’s nice to have it if you are starting from scratch. Connectivity was simple and intuitive. I have a pair of 27” monitors. One of them is connected via HDMI, and the other via Display Port. There is only 1 HDMI port but several Display Ports, which is really what you want to use anyway. I added the wireless dongles for my mouse and keyboard to a USB port on the back and fired it up. After walking through Windows setup, I started downloading games. I noticed immediately that my download speeds were up from my previous machine. I didn’t run a speed test, but it’s very fast and stable. I have symmetrical gig fiber with a gaming router. This is the first box I’ve had that can actually take advantage of those speeds over wifi. I’m very impressed. It runs very quiet even under heavy load. I didn’t realize how loud my old box was until I switched. The LED lighting is decent enough. It’s easy to manage and looks very nice through the clear side panel. There aren’t a ton of options, but I don’t really mess with the lighting a whole lot anyway. It looks cool enough and what I really wanted was performance. The GeForce RTX 4060ti is a monster. I have several games that I play regularly, and all of them are spectacular on this box. A couple of quick examples, I was able to run Fortnite on max setting at over 60fps. Forza Horizon has detail in it that I didn’t know existed. I’m running Forza on a custom mix of settings. The reflections on the body of a gloss finish car as you pass under streetlights at night, the smoke from tires, the details in the environment. All phenomenal. I will say that I’m running everything on 1080 resolution. I suspect you would be limited a bit in the 4k arena on high graphics settings, but so far, this box can play anything I throw at it on max settings in 1080. The only headscratcher that I’ve found is the physical, wired, external antenna. The box is virtually useless without it. Neither Wifi nor Bluetooth are worth much without it. It’s not an optional booster, it’s a requirement. My high end router is only 25-30 feet away and the tower can’t even play videos without that antenna. With the antenna it’s screaming fast, but I don’t really love having it sitting on my tower with a wire going down the back. I’m not sure it that’s just a technology limitation or a design choice, but I’ll be glad when that isn’t needed. I have floating shelves with some cool LED lighting above my gaming station, but the chord on the antenna is so short, I can’t really put it anywhere other than on top of the tower. If you are going to make me have a wired device, at least give me some cord to work with so I can put it in a good location. It’s certainly not a deal breaker, but like I said, a head scratcher. I am definitely please with this tower. It’s cool, quiet, and a beast on 1080. I definitely recommend.

Super fast PC with plenty of storage. Setup was easy as it typically is with any Windows based computers. No stumbles along the way. Pretty much had it up and running with all Windows updates completed in less than an hour. 32 gigs of ram right out of the gate is key. I do a lot of photo editing with Photoshop and Lightroom as well as game on my PCs so the more ram the better. I doesn’t look like there are additional slots for more though so it would have to be replaced to upgrade. Maybe somewhere down the line but this is great to start off with. And a 1 tb hardrive. A very nice video card comes with this – the Nvdia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. I was previously using the 3060 Ti so it’s a bit of an upgrade but not huge. I love the RGB lighting accents. I chose solid blue for the time being but there are a lot of different options and patterns besides changing the colors. The fans are really quiet and the air hole on the bottom is a nice touch. Seems the cooling is set up perfect for this machine to keep the air flowing from the front and bottom and then out the back. This has a wifi antenna that connects with 2 wires in the back. This may work out great as it seems that it would have a bit more reach this way and I have this PC about as far away from our router as I can in this house. Since I keep my PC under the desk, the extra reach of the antenna allows me to mount it on top of the desk. No disconnects yet over the several days I’ve been using this and I have with other laptops and PCs in this room. I know I should just get an extender but if this stays connected all the time, it won’t be necessary. Another nice add is the little lever on the left hand side that drops down to hang a set of headphones on – very handy. Gaming performance is fantastic. High frame rates with the graphics cranked most of the way up. I was able to run Flight Simulator at 4k resolution with almost everything on Ultra. Very impressed. This one should last a long time - Love this!!

Constant lock up on boot and while on Windows

Not sure what to make of this computer... Expandability is near '0' since only one PCI-E is available. After OS(Win11 Pro) was installed, it constantly locked up on Windows login screen. If lucky enough to be on the Windows, it's like walking on egg shells; yeah it locked up occasionally as well. Its UI for its BIOS is quite cumbersome to maneuver especially with wireless mouse which becomes very sticky and jumpy. Also functional yet it probably has a low-end ASUS motherboard which doesn't even have motherboard model number anywhere.
