The pc is great.everything runs fine no matter what game you’re on. My only problem is that my led lights in the pc are broken. They change colors for 5 minutes (give or take) and it gets stuck on 1 color for the rest of the session.

Good overall comouter, plays games well. Kinda cheaped out on the "F" cpu instead of the "K", the 4060 ti is a little weak for a $1400 pc. Also comes with a modular power supply but didnt include thr extra cables

On the outside, the ASUS ROG Gaming Desktop is very nicely designed, clean lines, vents in the front and a clear side panel so you can see the beautiful guts of the PC. If you want to be subtle, you can turn off all the LED lights outside and inside of the case, and it doesn’t look like much more than your average desktop with some fancy vents in the front of the case. Turn on the lights in front and on the inside of the case and now it looks like a fancy gaming PC! Customize the lightshow you want from quick pulsing, to static and everything in between by using the Asus Armory Crate software. There’s even a plastic hanger that folds down to hang you headphones on the front left side of the case! Overall, I think it looks great, it’s not overly complicated or aggressive design like other gaming PCs.The RGB compliments it well, giving off a moderately sophisticated look. The vents in the front and back of the case seem to do a pretty decent job at keeping down internal temperature; It never gets very hot when in use. Connectivity: On top of the case, there are 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports, in addition, there are headphone jacks. In the back, there are 6 USB-A ports, HDMI ports, display ports and what looks to be a legacy PS2 port for keyboard or mouse. Performance: Previously, I would play/work on an popular brand gaming laptop, so this desktop was a huge step-up from the laptop. First of all, the noise, or lack of, is great. There’s a big difference in the noise level from my old laptop to this ASUS desktop. When I would run games (or pretty much anything) on the laptop, it was pretty much as loud as a jet engine. This PC runs so quietly, I can barely hear it, even when running multiple apps (games, movies, etc, at the same time). Setup was very simple, no problems there. The computer starts up very quickly, as opposed to the laptop that would take its time to boot up. I tested this PC’s performance with Valorant, Titanfall 2, GTA V, and Star Wars Battlefront. There were no noticeable discrepancies while running these programs, gameplay was very smooth. While running these games, the Asus PC did not get loud and noisy, the fan maintained the temperature while staying quiet. I was very pleased with the performance of this desktop. Out of curiosity, I ran Premiere Pro, Apple Music, and Valorant together, and both programs still ran smoothly. The noise level was still very quiet, and I was very impressed. So if you wanted to, you could edit and game at the same time. Verdict: Overall, I am very pleased with the ASUS ROG desktop, there is nothing I can think of changing on this PC to improve it. If you don’t want to spend the time to build your own PC and you want a fairly priced gaming PC that can handle intense gaming and other uses, look no further than the Asus ROG line of gaming PC’s!

    Great mid-range ASUS Gaming Tower

"For Those Who Dare!" ASUS is one of my 'go-to' "brands" when it comes to gaming PCs, both laptops and desktop computers. So I was very excited to get this ROG Gaming Desktop and compare it to the older ASUS gaming computer I already own. Setup took awhile, simply because I wanted to make sure to do all the necessary Windows Updates, make sure my required gaming software was 'good to go', install my favorite games, and get all my peripherals connected just the way I wanted them. Worth noting is that this ASUS ROG Gaming Desktop boasts a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Ti graphics card, which is a solid performer, and has been a staple for a great many laptops and desktops over the last several years. Plus, the 32GB memory is really sweet! And the PC having a 2TB SSD hardrive, not just 1TB, is awesome! The chassis on this ASUS is on the more 'slim side' which is perfectly fine, and looks stylish too. There's also a handy strap on the top side that helps lift and carry the tower securely. And the tempered glass side allows you a look inside the tower. Very cool! And there are plenty of ports! Everything the modern gamer could want, or need. Even right there along the front edge on the top side. Handy! Now, as far as how this ASUS ROG Gaming Desktop performs... It does so beautifully! While I wasn't able to play most games with my graphical settings at the highest levels, for the most part, that didn't matter. The NVIDIA GeForce 4060Ti graphics card does what it needs to do; handling what I require of it, and more. My usual, favorite games - World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, Dead by Daylight, Guild Wars 2 - play as I'm accustomed to, with only the occasional latency issues. During my lengthy gaming session, I didn't notice any excess heat coming from the tower; the fans doing their job well. And the gentle hum of the computer wasn't distracting in the least. My final word - The price point for this ASUS ROG Gaming Desktop is good, and the PC should provide great performance for your average gamer for quite some time, before needing to upgrade.

    Sleek Design Meets Serious Power

I recently upgraded to the ASUS ROG Gaming Desktop and have been quite impressed with its performance. The initial setup was straightforward – just connected my standard peripherals, my monitor via Displayport, the included WiFi antenna, and then powered it up. Setup was the standard Windows 11 out-of-the-box experience and did not take much time at all. The system runs very quietly, even when the fans are running. Aesthetically, the machine has a sleek design; the internal and external RGB lighting that is synonymous with gaming nowadays adds a nice touch without being over the top. The clear panel on the chassis really lets the internal lights shine. The availability of USB-A and C ports on the top of the tower as well as on the back was very convenient for getting all of my peripherals plugged in. The 14th gen Intel i7 processor, coupled with 32GB of RAM, handles games and multitasking with ease. I ran some benchmarks using Cinebench 2024, and the results confirmed the impressive specs: the GPU scored 11934 with the CPU pulling in 1098 on multi-core and 119 on single-core tests. The 2TB SSD is a generous amount of storage, so I don't anticipate I'll be dealing with space management anytime soon. The NVIDIA RTX 4060Ti graphics card is a standout, delivering crisp, detailed visuals without compromising frame rates. I was able to play games at the highest graphics settings online without dropped frames or lag issues. Even though I didn't really need it for any of the games in my library at this time, I was still really excited to take DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) for a spin to see how it worked and was not disappointed. DLSS is available on Nvidia's RTX line of cards and works by running games at a lower resolution and then uses a machine learning algorithm to scale up the resolution, which helps keep the frame rate up. There really was not much of a noticeable difference between DLSS Enabled and Disabled, and I could see myself using this in the future as games as they get more graphically intensive to try to keep the graphics looking solid while maintaining a high frame rate. At its price point, this desktop feels like a great investment. It packs exceptional gaming, programming, and general performance into a cool looking package.
