The ASUS ROG Strix that I have is configured with an i7 processor, 32GB of RAM, 2TB SSD, and equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Ti. It is a capable gaming PC, with the 3dMark scores that I tested pegging it firmly in the middle ground for gaming PCs in 2024. I mostly play games at 1920 x 1080, and this puppy can get me easily get me 60+ (and even on some optimized games 120+) frames per second at Ultra settings in most of the games that I've thrown at it, including Diablo IV, Control, and Overwatch 2. I appreciated the fact that even with my 3 monitors, there was still an open port on my video card for my VR headset. Since ASUS is one of my preferred vendors when it comes to motherboards for PCs that I build myself, I appreciated the extra GPU, SATA, and even molex (really? people still use molex?) cables for the modular PSU. I had never gotten extra cables like this on other prebuilt PCs, though I had with the motherboards I've gotten from ASUS, so I figured that they expected their customers to have some experience with computer hardware and would find the cables handy. More on that in a sec. Since I have an ROG Ally, I was used to the ASUS Armory Crate software, though it isn't as useful as it is on the handheld device. This desktop PC has a much different use case, and even though it's for gaming, I still prefer to launch games manually when sitting at my PC, and don't need the options to control the wattage to the CPU for battery life. So I tend not to really use it for anything, unlike on the Ally where I always have it open. I wasn't really looking too closely at the details on the specs, so when I was looking at the file manager, I saw that there were 2 drives listed, both at 1TB. I’m used to having a smaller SSD for the windows install and a larger HDD for file storage, and I figured this to be a similar yet odd case. Why would they put in a "storage" drive that was the same size as the boot drive? When I opened up the side panel to put in another, larger HDD, I was puzzled, as I couldn't find the storage HDD. That's when I realized that I didn't have 2 drives, I had one 2TB SSD with multiple partitions (including a couple of hidden recovery partitions). Not really sure why it's configured this way, and I'm tempted to fix with a partition manager. Going back to installing a HDD, after studying the motherboard and noting the 6 open SATA headers, I was searching for a place to put it. Ordinarily, I'd have either swapped the OEM one out for the larger one or put it right next to it, but since this PC didn't come equipped with one, I was stumped again. Were there no places to mount anything in this huge box? Why would the motherboard have so many open SATA headers if they didn't want you to put extra drives in here. No cool hard drive cage with the rails, no mount points behind the difficult to remove front panel. Remember the extra cables that they added to the box? Why would they insert them if they didn't want you to actually add anything extra by not having any space to put it? After taking off the other side panel and pushing aside the messy spaghetti of thick cables that were hidden by the PSU shield, I finally found four mounting holes at the very bottom of the case. You have to insert the screws through the actual bottom plate of the case. They were oriented so that I had to squeeze the hard drive in crossways, a very tight fit with how thin the case is for such a big box, which barely left any room for the 2 cables that connect it to the motherboard and PSU. I had to read the manual to figure out what the strap on the back of the case and the weird fold-out stick thing on the front of the case were. The strap is for making it easier to carry the case around, and the fold-out thing is a headset holder. This is what they are giving us instead of HDD mounts. There's also only the one M.2 slot. Disappointed. While I was testing the performance of the various games that I had installed, there was something that I didn't notice. Sound. The PC is liquid cooled. Again, I didn't pay attention to the specs, so I was quite surprised at how silent this PC is, which is a huge plus for me as it lives in my bedroom. I did have to turn off the lighting because of that, though. My wife did think that it was pretty, however. Ultimately we prefer sleeping in darkness and not a psychedelic disco light show. And with how quiet the PC is, I can get some late night gaming done without annoying my wife with the jet engine white noise from all the fans turned up on my previous gaming PC. All in all, this is a decently spec'd pc for gaming. I appreciate the quietness and performance, but really wish that the really big case had more options for upgrading instead of only the one janky spot on bottom.

The box it arrived in is tall and the side sustained a puncture damage, luckily the computer is not damage. The computer itself is tall though not as tall as the box, the height is to accommodate an AIO CPU cooler to be placed at the top of the computer case. And this computer does come with a high performance 240mm AIO CPU liquid cooler which makes the computer quieter than computer using heatsink fan CPU cooler. The power supply is from Great Wall brand 750W gold class 80+ efficiency so it is very nice. Note that the power supply sucks air from the bottom of the computer case and exhaust it backward so don't place the computer on carpet. One of the side panels is transparent and shows the interior LED light, components and neatly tuck wires. Both side panels can be easily removed by removing 2 screws using Philip head screw driver. The transparent side also has a hook to hang a headset. The back of the case shows 7 PCI slots, 2 occupied by the graphic card. But the inside you can only find one open PCI slot on the motherboard so it seems the motherboard is a micro-ATX type. The case is big enough to allow replacing the motherboard with an ATX one. The top of the case is vent for the AIO and toward the back, you can find a fashionable and functional carrying strap for use with moving the computer but I am not comfortable with just holding it with the strap positioned at the back. Even though the case is tall, it does not allow installing a DVD or Blu-ray drive. Inside the case, you can find 2 NVMe SSD each 1IB. One installed with heatsink while the second one does not. It appears the SSD is from Western Digital model SN560. The motherboard has 4 memory slots and 2 are occupied by memory from SK Hynix DDR 5 RAM. The motherboard also comes with Wi-Fi 6E and antenna. So it is likely the motherboard is a modified version of the Asus ROG STRIX B760-G GAMING WIFI motherboard. Of course you will find Asus GeForce RTX 4060TI DUAL 8GB GDDR6 dedicated graphic card occupying 2 slots. The computer boots up without any issue and in no time the computer is ready for use. The wait includes windows update, creating windows account, create Asus account etc. all the usual stuff. I find no bloat ware. However, after bios update and reboot, I am prompted to press F1 to run setup to recover bios settings, I guess many users will not know what to do next. After bios update, the bios version becomes 303 dated 2/20/2024 As a bonus, the computer comes with free 1 month of Xbox game pass ultimate. Playing games with this computer is very enjoyable, everything run fast and smooth. Example, Fortnite at high setting, I get 120FPS. The computer is pretty quiet too. The LED light show is a bonus. The computer does not come with enough documentation, it comes with one quick installation guide and even though the CPU does not have integrated graphic but the guide has illustration to instruct user to connect to the motherboard's 2 HDMI ports. The setup guide should instruct user to connect to the ports of the Nvidia graphic card. I wish it comes with user guide for the motherboard and the case.

More than just your average entry level pre-built

The Asus ROG Strix G16CHR gaming desktop isn't just your run-of-the-mill entry-level pre-built gaming PC; it's a powerhouse packed with top-tier components that deliver an unparalleled gaming experience. From its robust hardware to its stunning aesthetics, this gaming desktop sets a new standard for what a pre-built PC can offer. I’m going to jump straight into the meat and potatoes of the system - the components. The Asus ROG Strix G16CHR leaves no stone unturned when it comes to performance for an off the shelf plug and play gaming desktop. Featuring an Asus B760 motherboard paired with an Intel i7 14700F CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a GeForce RTX 4060Ti GPU, and a WIFI 6 antenna, this gaming desktop is ready to tackle even the most demanding games with ease. The inclusion of two WD SN560 1TB SSDs plenty of starting storage for your games, while the liquid cooling radiator with two 240mm fans keeps temperatures in check even during intense gaming sessions. To power it all Asus has included an 80 Plus Gold 750 watt semi modular power supply. The result? Blazing operating speeds at optimal temperatures, with minimal fan noise to boot. Next, to my surprise, Asus has seen fit to include a stock keyboard and mouse that is also more than just the usual box and go peripherals, and worthy of mention for those considering this rig for their first gaming pc. Yes, these are entry level, but I would consider the keyboard and mouse entry level gaming peripherals. Both come with rgb lighting, durable braided cords, some tactile feedback and sound on par with an entry level mechanical keyboard and mouse. The mouse has dpi adjustment and feels comfortable in hand. The keyboard is alright to get you started but is definitely a breath of fresh air compared to what has been packaged with pc’s in the past. Both are very responsive and fit right in with the overall build of the pc. Going into the build, the aesthetics are equally impressive as all of the power and components put into this pre-built. With the already mentioned RGB lighting of the mouse and keyboard, ASUS has included RGB lighting both inside and outside the PC case. The internal RGB lighting adds a touch of flair to the build, while the lightning bolt RGB on the exterior case adds a striking visual element that sets it apart from the competition. It's a feast for the eyes, whether you're gaming in the dark or showcasing your setup to friends. While the Asus ROG Strix G16CHR excels in many areas, wire management could be improved. However, considering that it's a pre-built PC, the wire management is satisfactory and doesn't detract from the overall performance and aesthetics of the system. This PC has everything you need or could want to jump straight into AAA gaming, multi-tasking, hardcore editing and video creation without any worries of lack of performance, power, peripherals, or connectivity to get the task done. It has plenty of the usual ports for your peripherals on the rear I/O (2-hdmi, Display port, 2 USB 3.2, 4 USB 2.0 and includes front ports of 2 USB-C, 2 USB-A 3.2, 3.5mm headphone jack and mic jack. Ok, so opinion and experience of putting this PC into action…. Simply amazing and overly satisfying!!! Gameplay is buttery smooth even at High to Ultra settings. Granted, I play on 1080p monitors, but now may have to upgrade to some 4K monitors just to utilize the power available of this pc. I’ve put in some hours on both Diablo IV and God of War both at Ultra settings and did not skip a beat on any graphics. I did have the DLSS activated which bumps up fps on 40 series gpu’s, but it is worth it. The Ray-Tracing and just overall graphics and speed at which you are capable with this pre-built PC will blow your mind. The PC did not max out at high temps and there was literally 0 fan noise compared to my previous rig. There is plenty of airflow coming in from the front vent even without an intake fan placed there. The power supply fan and pre-installed liquid cooling radiator are most likely attributed to the awesome silent cooling. You can feel the fans at work with the sufficient airflow moving through and around the tower. This PC has renewed my interest in some other games that I have set aside due to lack luster graphics and performance. I have enjoyed playing several older games and newer games that demand higher power and graphic availability and the RTX 4060TI and 14th gen Intel cpu have unleashed my gaming library! I could go on an entire dissertation about the power and performance of this rig, provide benchmark numbers, and so on, but there is no need. If you are into PC gaming, know the current state of the PC market for parts, and do not want the hassle of spending several thousand dollars to build your own, this is where you want to look. I promise you; you will not be disappointed. This Asus PC also leaves a bit of flex for upgrades. There is a place on the front case to add a front 240mm intake fan, change some wiring, change to rgb fans, or whatever fits your fancy if you want to showcase the build. But out of the box, the PC has optimal power, cooling, air flow, aesthetics, and sustainability to lend to a great gaming experience and is worthy of being labeled a Gaming Desktop PC. Asus has really stepped their game up and invited everyone into the gaming community at a reasonable price point with all the components you need to game enjoyably, efficiently, and effectively. This Asus ROG setup will undeniably change the market for pre-built gaming pc’s.

This is my third gaming computer, the second one I have is a laptop with decent specs. This computer is by far the best gaming device I have used! One thing I want to start off with is this computer does not include a keyboard or mouse. That wasn’t an issue for me as I already have those devices and did not need them. If you are buying as a gift or for yourself this is something you would need to purchase separately if needed. This computer looks great and has lots of fans for air flow. The power supply is on the bottom of this computer and has a fan on the underside to keep it cool. The LED lights are not super bright even on the highest setting. They look great but I really like the ones on the front of the case as they have a nice light flow. The computer has lots of room for expansion. There are four memory slots and two are currently used. I was surprised that this computer has two hard drives each at 1TB. It’s nice that there are two but I’m not sure why this was done instead of just one 2TB hard drive, maybe cost savings? But it is great that this thing has so much memory and you can add additional drives if needed. Asus also included cables for additional drives which was unexpected and pretty nice. The video card has one HDMI and three display ports. I only have an HDMI monitor so I was unable to try out the display ports. The video card shouldn’t have any issue running multiple screens at once. The computer also has 6 usb ports on the back and two on top along with 2 USB-C. The WiFi card comes with a wired antenna which I really like as you can mount it where you can get a strong single. I ran a through a few games on this computer and maxed out all the settings trying to get it to crash. It did not and ran each game without a problem at all. Also the computer stayed very quiet as the fans only ramp up speed during intense gaming. The laptop I have runs the fans at full speed no matter what, so this was nice that the machine is quiet. This computer is probably overkill for my needs as most of the games I play are not super intense. It is nice knowing that I can play more demanding games without issues. I didn’t notice too much bloatware pre installed on the computer. Asus did include a program Armoury Crate. I’m still getting use to all the features this program has, but you can adjust the lights, different performance modes, computer stats, etc. You can also download their Apple or Android App for additional controls. This program seems more intuitive and more feature rich than the other two gaming computer brands I have used. If you are getting into computer gaming this is a great machine and should last a while with the current specs. If you are a casual gamer this might be overkill for your needs, but after having lower end gaming computers this is really nice knowing I can play pretty much any game without issues.

The G16CHR upon first opening has a sleek design, we received the matte black and upon first inspection the sheer look of the PC was beautiful, especially for a pre-built. The case was minimalistic in the best way, and the size was wonderful. It was smaller, and lighter than my previous PC (a different prebuilt), but this one immediately had the higher quality ‘feel’ to it. To start off, the pros of this PC: it is EXTREMELY quiet. Upon first booting up, it will initially sound quite loud as all the fans turn on, but after around 5-15 seconds, the graphics card (GeForce RTX 4060) fans will stop spinning, at least until they have a reason to (i.e. to cool the PC down from heavy use). I use my PC mostly for gaming, so my old problem used to have to deal with my old PC overheating fairly often if I wasn’t constantly monitoring it in the Task Manager. As of right now, I have yet to deal with any overheating or frankly much temperature shift at all, which has been a godsend for me. On top of this, the PC can handle multiple heavy downloads at once as I was setting it up to match my old settings. I have a decent number of steam downloads I had to reinstall, and the PC did not stutter at all. This may be more related to Microsoft than the actual computer, but transferring my files and information was a breeze. I am definitely a ‘rookie’ when it comes to these things, and I was really worried due to having to change from my old profile being in Windows 10 to this new one that runs on Windows 11. There is, of course, a slight learning curve, but the transfer alone was made very easy and accessible for beginners. Now, for the actual gaming itself: the PC runs very smoothly. The games boot up quickly and I haven’t experienced any buffers or packet losses. Referencing my old comment, the G16CHR handles gaming really well – I leave a lot of tabs from multiple accounts open and other applications running constantly in the background, as I have a habit of switching between things frequently, and I have had zero issues arise from it with this PC. The only really the main issues I experienced were all in the initial setup of the computer – the instruction manual specifically, not the actual G16CHR. As I stated previously, I am a complete amateur at setting up PCs, so I relied heavily on the given instruction manual to initially set it up. The instruction manual was less than stellar in my opinion as the main instructions for where to wire everything was a minimalistic picture visual with arrows pointed around it. My main problem arose with the display. The instruction manual put the arrows for the top port of the PC, but the problem is that, at least with my monitor, it would only receive signal if it was plugged into the bottom line of display ports. It took an embarrassing amount of time to figure out why my monitor wasn’t receiving any signal. In its’ defense, there is a note underneath the visual stating “Illustrations are for reference only. Actual product specifications may vary”, however, as a ‘newbie’ and with no other written instructions for that step other than “Connect devices.”, I felt that it was just not as helpful as it could’ve been. Aside from that fiasco, the actual G16CHR ran super smoothly. Overall, the pros exponentially outweigh the cons on the G16CHR. The PC itself is wonderful, runs smoothly, quietly, and is extremely effective in making the most out of its gorgeously slim casing. The only gripe I experienced was solely from the instruction manual paired with my sheer lack of experience with setting up the PC. Everything about the actual computer is honestly wonderful and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone in the market for a high quality prebuilt gaming PC.

Wow wow wow, what a pc! Let’s dive right in. Looks: this gaming desktop is sleek and sexy, and pairs well with any UHD monitor(s) The chassis is filled with led’s to fully immerse you into a gaming realm, or just an all around relaxing vibe. Not only is the chassis visually appealing, but it’s functional with a mesh front panel which allows all the air necessary to keep the internal components cool. There is an option to have your pc fan-cooled or liquid-cooled. I really like the convenient hidden headset holder along the side of the unit. Also, the built-in carrying strap makes moving this desktop beast pretty easy. While unboxing, immediately understood why this addition was needed….this thing is pretty heavy. The desktop comes fully equipped with ample connection ports for your peripherals; a total of 3 HDMI ports, 4 x DisplayPort 1.4 connections, 2 usb 3.2, 4 usb 2.0, a keyboard/mouse combo port, 1 LAN port, 3 audio jacks that support 7.1 channel audio (with Dolby Atmos support and two-way noise cancellation)…but wait, there’s more! You also get front panel connections; 2 usb type C 3.2 gen 1 connections, 2 usb type A 3.2 gen 1, 1 mic in, and 1 headphone out connection, along with Bluetooth 5.3. There are ample connections for anything you can possibly want to add to your rig. Oh, I almost forgot to mention you also have built-in RGB control software. Now, how it performs…the desktop is lightning fast and seamless in processing speed. Boot up was lightning fast as well. Next, I downloaded a game (54GB) which took roughly 5 minutes to download. Throughout gameplay the cooling fan remained at a whisper, the graphics remained smooth and fluid without any lag. I then let the game continue running in the background while opening 20 separate browser windows with multiple tabs in each window, all running different websites with as much movement on each site as possible. The pc handled this with ease. I also paired my pc via Bluetooth to a 7.1 channel soundbar and there were no errors in sound. Audio output was just as seamless as the every other aspect of this awesome machine. The performance of this desktop is beyond impressive. The graphics output is crisp and accurate, and sound is phenomenal hard wired or wireless. I absolutely recommend this gaming pc for anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience! 5 stars from me!

Powerful Gaming Machine with a 4060 ready to go!

This machine has everything blazing and ready to go for every application. 32GB of Ram installed via two onboard m.2 Slots. 6 Sata Ports ready for SD expansion should you need it. NVIDIA RTX 4060 with 8GB. Right here is 90% of the power of this gaming machine with a G3D Benchmark score of 22892. So it's going to run just about everything at the highest gfx settings. The main cpu is a respectable Intel Core i7-14700F. Mainboard PCI-E 5.0. The case is a midtower big enough to house the mainboard, gfx card and all your connectors in the convenient spaces. One feature that's somewhat unusual is a carry strap! So you can haul it easily around. Another is having a flip out holder for your headphones. On a business side, it's ready to go. Boots up fast, bluetooth ready for all your peripherals, plenty of USB back and front. Photoshop loads FAST. Especially off the solid state drives. As well as your images. The network adapter is 6e so your wifi is as fast as possible too for uploading and downloading. I plan on doubling the ram and adding way more SSD bricks to make this machine a monster. The one blemish on the experience sadly was support. Just getting to asus live-chat support yielded an HTTP 405 Server error. After a while it started working again. Support was a little slow to respond and answer any questions.. and then tried to transfer me to the component group. That completely didn't work and the whole chat session was then stuck into a login-loop. Apart from that, I feel confident this will be my new primary machine for years to come.

No Upgrades Required – Cool Performance

Bottom Line: All too often I have found prebuilt gaming systems that have cut corners which impact the performance of the quality components in the build but this Asus desktop was properly spec’d to get the most out of its high performance components. This desktop is a mid-tier prebuilt computer that should meet the demands of most gamers without needing any upgrades or modifications. Here are things that you need to know about this Desktop performance and upgradeability: - I ran this pc through multiple stress test (see photos) as well as several intense gaming sessions and at no point did the cpu or gpu ever reach a temperature that concerned me. I game with a 2560 x 1440 QHD monitor that runs at 165 hz. - Because the liquid cooler does such a great job the fans run at lower rpms so the computer is generally quiet. When I game I run the computer usually in Performance mode via Armory Crate however even when I run in Turbo mode the fans are less noisy than other prebuilt systems I have used. - The case is small and tight so there is a very limited amount of space to add anything in the main cavity. Because of its small size and built in fabric handle its easy to move around. - My system came with two 16 gb SK Hynix DDR5 5600 mhz memory sticks which is the fastest stock ram you can get for the Intel 14700F cpu. Asus does not lock down the bios and there are lots of options for those who like to tweek their systems. - There is enough space and mounting for a single internal hard drive next to the power supply. Asus does provide extra power and Sata cables. See the photo of the hard drive mounting space. It’s a tight fit but if you want to add a hard drive its certainly possible. - The case has ventilation holes in the top and the front of the chassis and the rear exhaust fan is 120 mm fan. Combined with the liquid cooler the system stays reasonably cool even when stressed. See the photo of the 3D Mark stress test and the temps reported. - The CPU cooler is an Asus liquid cooler that uses dual 150 mm fans which are mounted in the top of the case. - There is enough space and mounting holes to mount a 150 mm fan in the lower front of the case. I don’t think this is necessary with the current components. See the photo of the fan mounting on the lower front panel. - The RGB lighting is supplied by two led strips inside the cabinet and a single strip on the front cover. None of the fans or memory sticks or liquid cooler are RGB. The RGB colors and patterns are set using the Aura Sync function in Asus’s Armoury Crate. The end result is a nice RGB set up but its not as flashy as having RGB colored fans in the front panel. - The storage drives are two single 1 Tb NVMe SSD drives. The primary drive is located under the video card and has a heat sink. The second drive is easier to access but does not have a heat sink. My drives were SN560 Western Digital drives. Because the drives are already installed I would recommend adding an internal hard drive vs upgrading one of the SSDs. - The power supply is a 750 watt gold which should be plenty for this build. The supply is semi-modular and there are open connector slots for adding power cables to the power supply. - Asus’s Armoury Crate software is easy to use and provides good monitoring data as well as the ability to help manage the desktop. After setting up the system and upgrading all the software and firmware I ran it through several benchmark test to see how it would perform and how good it was at handling heat generated by the cpu and gpu. The RTX 4060 Ti did a respectable job but if you want to game at 4k you might want to consider this same system with a RTX 4070 or RTX 4080 instead. Heat was never an issue whether I was doing benchmarks or playing one of my sim racing game the temps never got above 70 degrees Celsius. 3DMARK Time Spy Score = 14196 Graphics Score = 13607 CPU Score = 18817 Battlefield V @1080p Ultra = 200+ FPS Battlefield V @ 1440p Ultra = 130+ FPS Apex Legends@1080p Ultra = 140+ FPS Apex Legends@ 1440p Ultra = 140+ FPS GTA V @1080p Ultra = 185+ FPS GTA V @ 1440p Ultra = 85+ FPS Fortnite @1080p Ultra = 290+ FPS Fortnite @ 1440p Ultra = 70+ FPS Red Dead Redemption 2 @1080p Ultra = 145+ FPS Red Dead Redemption 2@ 1440p Ultra = 55+ FPS Geekbench6 Single Core Score = 2722 Multi Core Score = 18000 Open CL Score = 130977 Vulkan Score = 127975

One of the Worst expensive purchases I’ve ever made. Bought one on Black Friday good thing I didn’t wait until Christmas to open it. Audio was NOT working I had to reinstall drivers and all to find that “Audio Services were not responding” brought it back to Best Buy the next day for them to say leave it there or exchange. I exchanged waited another 5 days for the new one. Brought the new one home and 5 hours later same problem “Audio Services Not Responding”! Waste of Time and Money. Stay away from this Garbage! You should not have to buy a brand new computer and have to go through all these problems. Garbage Trash! I’m returning Again!

We do understand your disappointment with and the inconvenience this may have caused if you had audio problems on two PC you received. This issue can either be a software or hardware issue. To resolve this, update the audio driver. The latest driver version is posted at:  https://rog.asus.com/us/desktops/mid-tower/rog-strix-g16chr/helpdesk_download/ . Check the model number prior to leaving the store. Just bought one yesterday and the model I received didn’t match what I paid for online.

So I was going through things on my computer. It’s been almost a month since I had it but also work 60+ hours a week. This is important! If you buy. Check everything out and make sure it has all the specs they claim. It doesn’t come with 2 terabytes. Comes with 1. After 15 days your SOL!!!

Greatly surprised with this pre-built desktop. I always had some doubts about pre built systems, but this one greatly surprised me. First, it came greatly packed on a large box with protective foam all around. I was greatly surprised to find extra cables in a box from the power supply and wifi antenna. If in the future I want to upgrade to a more powerful graphics card that requires more PCIe cables, they included more cables from the power supply (its a nice Gold 750w one). Its a tall and thin tower. I was greatly surprised by the amount of RGB, it was not obnoxious and was really nice (large strip on the front and lighting inside the case). The system and fans are very quiet, and I was very surprised by this, when I started the PC I could barely hear it, if it wasn't for the lighting I would not have noticed it was on and working. It uses a water cooler AIO for the CPU and they include nice (non rgb) exhaust fans, all very quiet. The included RTX video card uses a single new 12vhpower cable. I must say I'm very picky when it comes to cable management on my PC's and this one greatly surprised me. You can tell great care was put on cable managing the whole thing. I even popped the back panel, where you usually find a rats nest of cables, but no, it was also greatly and neatly put together on the back too (check my pics). Windows was pre installed and it was a quick start after setting windows up I updated bios, drivers (easily done using Asus auto update software) and I was up an running. The included Nvme drive was super fast and I started downloading and gaming after doing all the updates. The included Nvidia RTX card is fast and its fast enough for 1080p/1440p resolution gaming (4k would be too much for modern games, specially due the video ram). If you notice some games are too heavy, if they support Nvidia's DLSS 3 Ai upscaling, this like black magic. You cand render at a lower internal resolution and using AI it upscales to a higher resolution with minimal hit to performance. If you even want more FPS you can enable Frame Generation (if the game supports DLSS frame gen) and you can easily be in the 80s-100s FPS. The CPU is a latest gen intel, and it is plenty fast for any modern gaming. I highly recommend this very well built system if you don't to have all the headaches of building a PC, this high quality pre-built will get you up and gaming at high FPS at no time!!!

The Asus ROG is a powerful prebuilt gaming desktop that allows you to have quality components all set and ready to be used right out of the box. It took about five minutes to unbox, connect, and get it started. The aesthetics have been tastefully curated resulting in a desktop that is pleasing to look at regardless of where it is placed. The RGB lighting is customizable using Aurora Sync. The glass panel allows the lighting to show beautifully as well as shows off the hardware. Opening up the case is pretty simple, just unscrew two Philips-head screws on the back and slide the glass panel off. It includes a convenient built-in headset holder that can be folded away when not in use. It also has a carrying strap that makes moving it around so much easier. The box allows for ventilation from the top, bottom, front, and back which provide a great in-flow and out-flow of air to circulate through and keep it cool. Overall, the design and lighting were well-thought out and executed by Asus. With 32GB memory there is more than enough to allow for some serious multitasking and has room for up to 64GB. Everything loads at lightning speeds, and I have had no issue running various programs plus browsing the internet with a ton of tabs open. That coupled with the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHZ wireless card, and this machine is ideal for a multitasker like me. This computer is at the farthest area of my house from my router and blocked by a brick wall and it still manages to use Wi-Fi faster than in my other computers. The internet speed is comparable to my wired set-up. The 2TB included are enough for a few large data games but I will probably still add more in the future. The PSU is 850W, 80+ gold, peaking at 900W. This is just what is required to run the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, ensuring dependability. As for actual performance, I have no complaints thus far. It boots up fast, puts up with my multitasking with no lag, and provides a smooth gaming experience. I have tried Battlefield, Fortnite, League of Legends, Dead Space (2023 Remake), Rocket League and all have run smooth and seamlessly. The CPU temp stayed within normal range, peaking at around 50C while playing Dead Space (2023 Remake). I played this game at ultra settings and FPS still managed to surpass the 100s. Throughout my gameplay the fans run so quietly I almost doubted they were on sometimes; every time I checked they were up and spinning though. Overall, this is a solid prebuilt gaming desktop with great specs. Anyone looking for the convince of a PC that is ready right out of the box will definitely get a quality high performer from this ASUS.

To start off, the specs of this system are perfect for the average gamer. ASUS has assembled an excellent gaming PC with very few trade-offs. To save you some time, let me just say, you can't go wrong with this system. It offers incredible value for the money and incorporates all the latest components. If you're on the fence, allow me to give you a little nudge in the right direction. Keep reading if you want more details, but to be frank, you can't build a system with these specs and end up spending less. People also tend to factor in their time when building PCs. Trust me, get the pre-build. Quick Specs: Intel i7-14700F 32GB DDR5 RAM (HUGE IMPROVEMENT) 4060TI 8GB (I do wish this was the 16GB variant) 2TB NVMe (2 x 1TB) AIO CPU Cooler (Water Cooled) This computer is ideal for someone jumping into their first gaming PC. It will handle anything you throw at it with modest, mid-range settings. You can expect it to handle 1080P easily, 1440 like a champ, and 4K with several ***. I will break down all of my thoughts on each part of the computer that I think will be most important to the average person looking at this system - I promise to trim the fat. Case: The case has great airflow and no issues cooling the GPU under load (Stable 63 degrees) despite there only being 3 fans (not including the power supply). The CPU is water-cooled, so there's no concern with cooling there (52 degrees under load). Please note that ALL of the RGB is in the case. There is no RGB on any other component. Overall Build Quality: Cable management is tidy and clean. I could not ask for a better representation of care and attention to detail. Component Quality: The only complaints I have are purely aesthetic. There are a few components I wish they paid a little more attention to, but I need to set your expectations - the next few comments are more of a wish list and not at all an issue with the system. Firstly, the RAM sticks are the ugliest pieces of hardware in the system. Not only do they lack RGB, but the boards are green and look like they came out of a computer from 2007. That being said, it's DDR5, and I would gladly take green DDR5 RAM over RGB DDR4. Secondly, the absence of RGB on the RAM, GPU, AIO, and fans makes for a lackluster experience. It's a bit upsetting considering all of those core pieces of hardware aren't exactly something you'll want to swap out after buying a prebuilt PC. Other than that, this computer is rock solid. Performance: I ran this computer through 3DMARK out of the box, and it scored 13,887. What does that mean? Basically, my computer performed better than 73% of all other computers that logged a test on the platform. Buying this system brings you into the top 27% of gamers... So yeah, it can game. In real gameplay, I saw excellent frame rates, and this ROG system didn't break a sweat. Upgrade Ability: You definitely could upgrade this system down the road. There's plenty of room for a larger GPU, motherboard, PSU, etc. Let's be real, you're picking this system because you don't want to build it, but we all eventually tinker and upgrade. I'll wrap it up. You won't be disappointed with this gaming PC. It is the perfect balance of price, performance, and quality. If you haven't clicked "add to cart" by now, I don't know what else I can say. It really is that good for a pre-built PC.

ASUS is well-known for creating gaming systems that offer a perfect blend of style and performance, all at a price point that won't break the bank. And once again, they've knocked it out of the park with their latest addition to the ROG gaming lineup. This system features an Intel Core i7-14700F processor, 32GB of DDR5 5600 memory, and a spacious 2TB SSD. During my rigorous testing, this system handled everything I threw at it without so much as a studder. Whether I was running MSFS2020 on max settings while hosting a video call or engaging in intense gaming sessions, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060Ti GPU performed like a champ. And thanks to the liquid cooling system, it stayed cool and whisper quiet even under heavy loads. But it's not just about performance—the little details matter too. I particularly love the built-in headset holder, tucked away neatly inside the chassis for easy access. And the customizable RGB lighting adds a nice touch of personality to the setup. Key Features: - Operating System: Windows 11 Home - Processor: Intel 14th gen i7-14700F - Graphics: ASUS Dual GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 - Memory: 32GB (2x16GB 5600 DDR5) - Storage: 2TB (1TBx2 2280 P4 SSD) - Power: 850W power supply (80+ Gold, peak 900W) - Network: Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) (Dual band) 2*2 + Bluetooth® 5.3 Wireless Card Overall, this ASUS ROG Gaming Desktop is a top-tier system, delivering on both performance and style, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to level up their gaming experience.
