Customers find value in the ROG Gaming Desktop's high performance and powerful GPU, frequently praising its quiet operation and ease of setup. However, some users reported issues with the cooling system, RAM configuration, and fans, while others expressed concerns about the price and power supply. The overall experience appears to be positive for many, but potential buyers should be aware of these reported drawbacks.

    RiezMae Thinks We're Both Cool

The PC was purchased to run MSFS 2020, which it does, thx. The house heated up on a warm day last week to 75 degrees. The PC cooling fan started up. It seems to me that the video card caused the PC case enclosure to heat up, just over 100 Degrees. Good thing it started eh? I placed a fan in front of the PC and it came down. Maybe I'll mod the PC with a video card that is not over clocked when I find one. I also think for $20 more, a disk drive for my older games would have gained Asus an Excellent Quality score from me, but I'm happy with the PC so far. The outer case design is a little flashy with the LED lighting an all but its in good taste. My Great Grand Daughter thinks it's cool and now she thinks I am I too, lol. Way to go Asus... Oh ya, it's super quiet...

it was a good starter PC but after 2 years started crashing/overheating and then the motherboard fried, no room for upgrades cause of the case/prebuilt design. If a part stops working on you, it will be a hasle to try and fix. Only has 2 small fans so the CPU and GPU gets hardly any airflow. I hope this review can help others make the right decision, go the extra mile a start process of building a PC!

Just look at the specs, this is a great gaming computer. It's biggest weak point is coming with a single stick of 16gb ddr4 2666mhz ram and only having one extra open slot. The fan revs up pretty loud when you're gaming at it's max but I'm glad because the cpu temps haven't come near the temps I was getting on the Ibuypower PC I replaced this with that had the same i7-9700k. Pity about Best Buy having seperate warranties for service and for parts now compared to all in one last time I bought a PC with them. Just a heads up.

I am nowhere near well-versed in understanding complicated lingo revolving around how PCs and professional gaming machines work. Besides knowing the basic specifications for a functioning laptop, the details on what is ideal for a good, fast, and powerful desktop meant for gaming go all over my head. Still, my friend, who is knowledgeable, recommended me this PC and I have been loving it. Seriously, there is an insane amount of what can be done with this machine. Besides having to buy a monitor + speakers and the short cords of the included keyboard/desktop, I recommend this to just about anyone who does not know much about PCs.

    2080 super pretty much a 3060ti

So far I'm loving it. I was debating upgrading my computer but just bit the bullet and bought this on sale at $1499. At $1799 I probably would of just built my machine. I had a 980 GTX previously that could still play games at 60hz but wanted to play at higher frame rates. I was getting 70fps on lower settings on Warzone but should be able to achieve 120-130fps at 1440p with this machine. With stock on newer cards being non existent I just bought this and will upgrade the card later down the road. All benchmarks I've seen have the 2080 super pretty much even with the 3060ti so not bad for my needs.

I’m brand new to PCs and this was my first one. I honestly wasn’t expecting much but this of has been really great so far. The gpu does a really good job at running warzone and apex at high FPS. The one tweak I’d make is upgrade the ram to dual channel 32gb bc the system comes with a single channel stick of 16gb

Great Rig. I play a lot of First person shooters, and this is able to keep up and then some. It is Very quiet and a very beautiful system. My only advise/recommendation would probably to upgrade the CPU cooler. I went with a liquid cooler. Now the rig performs even much better and cooler. Will definitely recommend

So I ended up getting this desktop PC after my older PC finally gave out on me. Did a lot of reseach about the RTX 2080 Super and I must say that this thing is a beast. I play all my games at 1440p on max setting (The Division 2 (1440p), Ori and the Will of the Wisps (4k), Control Ultimate Edition (1440p)). My old computer can barely play these games at 1080p (It was a custom built PC from years ago with a 3rd gen Core i5 and GTX 980, lol). The SSD is the main drive so everything loads up fast. Will upgrade to a 2TB SATAIII SSD for more storage. Pros: - Runs all my games at 1440p or better with max settings - Was on sale for $300 off the retail price - RGB lighting can be controlled by a program and is customizable - Runs pretty quiet when gaming Cons: - Mouse and keyboard that came with the system is are pretty crappy but I already had a Razer mechanical keyboard and Logitech gaming mouse I'm pretty happy with the purchase and would recommend this system for anybody trying to upgrade from an older system, especially if you can get it with the $300 discount.

Overall it is a decent pc. With that being said, the cooling in it is horrible! just like all the other reviews are saying. It is currently back at asus, do to the gpu over heating and frying everything out. I WILL MAKE AN UPDATE WHEN IT COMES BACK. It took forever to figure out why it wouldnt turn on after 3 months just shut down on me, after about of week of looking for the problem it ended up being the gpu. After figuring that out, it clicked from monitoring the gpu temp while playing it was ALWAYS 85-86 degrees.. very poor cooling set up.

I bought this for my boys and I to get our geek on! Boys love the speed of load times and the great graphics. I loved the ease of set up, my 13 yo son is my tech support so that was easy. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but I feel that I want need to upgrade for quite a while.

I've had this for a few weeks. I play mostly World of Warcraft and older Steam games. But I wanted some power. It's pretty quiet and the packaging is great. Keyboard and mouse included are basic but a great backup set. All around I'm really happy with this purchase.
