This laptop is great for gaming. No lagging with character movement. Battery does get hot though, it's a powerhouse, so I expected that.

I bought this one open box and for the price I got it for I could not be happier! Pretty much plays anything I throw at it fully maxed out at 1080p. Screen is also IPS and Gsync! Fans are noticeable when pushed hard but not what I would consider annoyingly loud like the Surface Pro 3....

This laptop is great but the only thing I would recommend is buying a cooking pad. You're only looking at this computer if you plan on gaming with it and obviously gaming laptops are never as good as desktops but thiS laptop gets way too hot for comfort when playing on the highest graphics settings. Found that out early on and I'm waiting on my cooling pad in the mail. No other complaints.

This is a very powerful device for gaming and other graphics driven applications. So far so good!

I dug through several other computers specs before coming to this one. Was pleasantly suprised on it power vs price for a laptop. It does have some default software to enhance the computer that I don't use but over well it has meet all my Gamming needs and more

This is a great gaming laptop that is VR ready. I recommend it.

No lag for any gamers out there for most games on medium to high graphics, can play large scale games on medium as well, great sounds and its fan is amazing. Only thing id say i disliked is the 1.5 hour battery life

Everything is perfect. Only complaint 1 pixel was dead on certain colors. Doesn’t really bother me. Also I don’t know if this computer has a screen dimmer or mine just doesn’t work. This is a problem with battery life

I purchased this laptop for my teenage son. He has done so much with it. He loves to play games, but also learn new computer skills and try them out. This laptop has been very fast for him and he loves it. A great buy!

I was looking for a powerful laptop, for working when I travel, that could also handle gaming on the go. This product was fantastic for both. It is not outrageously large either.

Great speed in a compact gaming laptop. Super light and fits in backpacks for easy travel. Great price for a 15” laptop. My only dislike is the keyboard is not backlit.

Is a great laptop for the games I play. Easy to use and really easy to set up. Only took 20 minutes to get my games and things loaded. It does not ave a disk drive, but I did get a external one that works great. Over all a great computer for the money.

This is an excellent gaming computer. I love the backlit keyboard and the video graphics is amazing. This computer is definitely a step-up from my previous computer. I would definitely recommend.

I never write review, but for this laptop I have to, I mainly play CSGO and I got 300fps in Ultra Settings 1080p, so no brainer if you play CSGO, the heating I didn't had any problem, but the previous model with gtx970m that one had way too heat problems, I recommend this laptop for every gamer.

This particular Asus gaming laptop has been and still is, as of the time of this review, performing reliably. I can definitely recommend it for gaming and/or video editing. I haven't traveled with it anywhere so not sure how it would hold up to temperature changes or what not. Having two fans, one for CPU and GPU, is smart designing. Upgrading RAM, OS drive, and storage drive are easily accessible by using something flat like a credit card and working around the edges to pop off the back.

Prior to the hard drive failing, the laptop was "ok". It would play relatively new games with decent settings (FO76 etc) but got very hot- which i dealt with by getting a laptop stand with fans. I typically used this pc for light gaming and general pc use. It was not extremely fast, probably due to the ram and the HDD. I had planned on updating to an SSD eventually when i had the funds, but unfortunately the HDD failed last week. I have an HP with an HDD that is still working 8 years later on the original hard drive. I can't express my disappointment enough. I thought I was buying a quality product with quality hardware but this may just be an example of a big name brand throwing their name on something that is not up to their usual standards. Lesson learned.
