Can’t beat an asus motherboard. Every pc I’ve built has had an asus. The bios are not too bad, asus oc wizard is great, and I’ve never had an issue with one. Asus always provides plenty of ports.

100% satisfying MOBO. I went through some updates and a few things that needed some research to figure somethings out. just wish that ASUS ROG would use a bit better quality clips for the GPU holders. They are just soft plastic. If you want to keep it from wearing off or becoming weak don’t take GPU often since this will debilitate the plastic latch on the slot. But overall is great the sound card chip is an absolute beast. High tech for sure.

Great mother board. Paired it with the 11900k and ddr4-4000 memory super fast. The mother board has good bios options great for over clocking.

The ASUS - ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO Socket LGA 1200 is the best gaming board I have ever purchase. Plenty of slots and runs great. Intel - Core i9-11900K 11th Generation - 8 Core - 16 Thread - 3.5 to 5.3 GHz - LGA1200 is a great processor but i7 would work just as good with this board. Wish BBY had bundle with i7 for a lesser price but i9 is the only option. The i9 will run hot for you. Make sure you have good fans and air flow. I would say liquid cooling is a must.

At this point I do not own the motherboard anymore because I already upgraded my system to the 13th gen Intel platform but I must say that this is the best motherboard I ever had. It looks amazing and has a lot of features. I was using an i7 11700k with the motherboard overclocked to 5.2 ghz using Asus AI with a 240mm AIO so if you have a 360 model you will probably get to i9 level @5.3 ghz easily. I really recommend it!

I recently upgraded a PC that I use for software development and flight simulation using the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO motherboard. The PC uses this motherboard with an Intel 11th generation Core i9-11900K processor, 64GB of memory and two 2TB PCIe 4.0 m.2 SSD's. I'm also using the PC with two Quadro RTX 5000 with an RTX Bridge (e.g. SLI) The installation of the motherboard went mostly without issue as I have built several PC's from components in the past although one issue that I ran into was that of the four m.2 slots on the motherboard only two of them can be used with the full speed and bandwidth of PCIe 4.0. That was ok though as I only had two m.2 SSD's to install. After installing them though, it was necessary to change a setting in the BIOS that would allow for the second m.2 SSD to be detected and it was not the setting described in the printed manual. The online version of the manual that can be downloaded in PDF does have the correct setting described. In order to have the m.2 SSD recognized by the BIOS and Windows 10, you'll need to go to the BIOS > Advanced > Onboard Device Configuration and set the CPU configuration to PCIEX16_1 + PCIEX16_2 + M.2_2 mode. With that change in place the SSD was recognized and I have approximately a 15% to 20% improvement in performance based on PCMark and 3DMark scores compared to the 10th generation Intel Core i9 and earlier generation of ASUS motherboard. Definitely an awesome upgrade and worth every penny.

This is a great motherboard that offers a ton of features, easy to use overclocking features, flexible storage support (up to 4x NVME), and looks super clean at the same time. The CMOS and BIOS reset buttons on the IO panel and the Q-Code display are really helpful during setup. Speaking of the IO panel, one of my favorite features is the 10x USB ports on the back panel which will mean most people won't need a separate hub. The ASUS software isn't the best (i.e., Armoury Crate) but thankfully you don't really need it unless you are uncomfortable making overclocking changes in the BIOS. The software allows you to enable AI overclocking, AI fan control, customize Aura Sync lighting, download driver updates and other utilities, among other things - but it isn't the most stable utility.

When paired with a 11th gen CPU, and correct RAM, this MB is fast. Lots of places to add 5v RGB and 12v ARGB. Board doesn't get that hot but it is best to use custom Waterloop.

Awesome mono, the GUI interface of the asus bios is glitchy and laggy. The Moro does not support display port out of the box, needs bios flash and update. Also, have to run on TPM feature which comes off by default. Overall exceptional capability and features.

Great motherboard for 11th Gen. Asus makes one of the best BIOS's on the market. For non technical people the auto overclock feature works great. You have to be careful it will apply to much voltage sometimes on the auto feature. You can usually lower their voltage they apply a good bit and be stable. The on-board audio is very good, aesthetics are nice and on-board ports and expansion is more than adequate. like everything else these days its pricey for a mid grade board.
