Dream Build

I just received Corsair Dominator Ram to finally finish off the build. The first time I’ve been able to complete a dream build- let alone the 4090 founders edition wasn’t easy to acquire. Best Buy’s customer service made me fell right at home. I’ll update later when it’s completed.

Not only did they install quickly they also hid the wires and cleaned the case. My system looks like a demo high end box. They did a fantastic job.

But, recently I had one of the worst experiences. I bought this particular board because it had great specifications and reviews. However, it had board issues. I called Asus customer support and after evaluation they told me the board was not working. The representative suggested I return or request replacement of the board. I went back and got a replacement and the same issue happened again. I called Asus support and they asked me to get another cpu and try if this solves the problem. I did that and no start up menu on the screen. They told me the board was bad and gave me the option of replacing the board or returning it to Best Buy. I returned it and bought a different brand board. No issues and now I have a working desktop computer.

Returned the first board that was brand new because it was giving an error. Then get the replacement and the post time is downright awful. Then I decided to go from a Radeon 6800 to a sapphire 7800xtx and the width of the card covered the 2nd pci express expansion slot. Finally ended up going with Aorus 7900 Master and it works great with none of the above mentioned issues.
