Be cautious - no warranty with BestBuy purchase

I purchased this board back in March - came up flawless and performed awesome... until it failed. At roughly two months the DIMMs started failing. Ultimately 3 of 4 failed and the system would not boot while using any of these DIMM slots. Some research shows this is a known issue with this board.
PROBLEM is... ASUS will not accept warranty RMAs on boards purchased from BestBuy. You need to call the "Geek Squad". Did so.. and got a huge run around. They wanted me to bring in the entire 75lb case so they could "test it". Finally got a guy to come to the house and he confirmed my testing... and approved the return. So I have to go to the store and they take it back as an "exception" - not a warranty return and RMA. AND will only give me STORE CREDIT? Are you kidding?? Fortunately, they had the board in warehouse inventory and it's being shipped.
Great board with it works. Nightmare with BestBuy if there is a warranty issue.

Thunderbolt speeds are very slow and the ethernet will not connect. Technical support at Asus is an oxymoron.
