Some of the devices in the house were having issues with connecting and finishing downloads from certain sites. After setting up this router all the issues went poof bye-bye!

Have to schedule it to reboot every Sunday morning, guess what, it may or may not take pity on me any given Sunday. Then I have to keep rebooting it until, if I'm lucky it will start working. While it's catatonic after reboot, there is no way to connect to it to check status. The gigantic useless dummy LED light just fades in and out with different colors, none of them indicative of what is going on. I'm having to write this review from my phone (on cellular) and today is Sunday, nuff said. I will day when it is working, it works great.

My download speed improved by around 20 percent. I didn't realize that was already there i just needed more throughput in the router. Asus does awesome routers,

This router has capacity for the 50+ devices that my family and I connect to it. The only downside is this router has a huge bulky footprint.

I do website and networking but i like to work outside in backyard when weather is nice and cool. This reaches great! This is an awesome router for streaming as well!

It will inconveniently forget your credentials so all of your neighbors can steal from you. Caveat emptor.

But the router is powerful wow big difference ins streaming, gaming and all if you will to be patient and work with the tech department then you will get what you pay for btw the 3 stars is not only on the item itself….you shouldn’t call Asus at night you get individuals that do not know anything about the company one guy want to generate a ticket but didn’t know the issue smh save your self the time call during the day same on Asus

Speedtest up to 1gigabit for wifi, with little to no lag. NAS speed is instantaneous. Currently, I have Linksys mx4200, and one of the satellites drop infrequently. I was looking for a replacement and found this router with 6E support. Thought I would give it a shot, but after 1 week of usage, the 2.4ghz band randomly drops and one of the devices failed to re-connect. Tried to reboot and the same issue happened again. I was using the latest firmware. Maybe, my unit was faulty.

I had issues and between the Geek Squad and Asus they were finally resolved, but it was about an eight hour process. I have installed over 10 routers with three of them being mesh systems, all Asus mesh. I almost sent this one back but once it was installed it worked fine.
